Tuesday, May 29, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! posted by 2:19 pm est May 28 THE SCOOP! - At Salem's trendy coffee house, an upbeat song about being lost in love plays in the background. Jack and Jen toast with their coffee mugs, the centerpiece of the table a muffin with a bride and groom on top. They are celebrating their anniversary and their engagement as well. Always unconventional! Daughter Abigail is surprised the pair actually asked her to join them, given that three is a crowd. Cameron walks up and gushes how amazing she looks. Even better than when they last said goodnight! Jack and Jen give each other a look. They invite him to stay. Jack has a few questions about this man who was out with his daughter. Cam is up for the challenge. He hopes Abigail will be willing to go out with him again. Abigail smiles prettily, then makes a joke about having to talk to her parents about this. Jack and Jen discover that Cam is a doctor, who happens to be the half-brother of Lexie. And so the light-hearted interrogation ceases. Jen is glad he is there for Lexie. Cam only wishes he could do more. Jen notes Lexie said she would call her. Cam sighs she is tired these days. Jack discreetly suggests he and Jen depart for a walk. They exit together. Cam now informs Abigail she has great folks. She wonders whether he has seen Lexie today. Not yet. She claimed she had something important to do ... - At Carver house, EJ hands a warm mug of tea to frail Lexie. Her hands are cold and she appreciates it. EJ holds his own mug of tea, which he made to perfection. Lexie is curled up on the sofa and smiles she will let the beverage cool before she drinks it. Her voice is becoming raspy as she battles the illness weakening her system. EJ appears concerned. Lexie continues to put on a brave face, commenting that the lilacs are beautiful. She now talks about Theo and yoga. She hopes that EJ will attend all his sports games. He assures her he will. She also wants Johnny and Sydney to remain a part of his life. She only wishes she could have given Theo a brother like she had. EJ sits down and holds her in his arms, fighting back the tears. He gets choked up that he just wishes he could hold onto her forever. Lexie now broaches a difficult subject. She loves autistic Theo dearly, though at times it is a challenge. She gasps there are times they cannot reach him. It feels defeating. She managed to cope by distracting herself with her work. Abe, however, will have to raise Theo on his own and he does not even have a job to get through it. She notes EJ took away his mayoral job and suddenly requests he now give it back! EJ is caught off guard. He reminds her there was an election and he won. She points out he could still resign. EJ doubts Abe would fill the post, given he got the debate questions in advance. Lexie wants him to clear his name as well as Jen's, then announce he is stepping down for his personal life, and endorse Abe. EJ laments this political career is all he has these days. Lexie teases that he cannot possibly be enjoying the town council meetings. He is Stefano's heir apparent! That is who he is. EJ solemnly states things have changed. Lexie wonders what he means. EJ attempts to change the subject. Ominous music is heard as Lexie deduces he and father are not getting along. EJ promises he will always take care of Theo financially. She will not let him change the subject, however. EJ explains he is trying to take a break from father. Lexie now laughs about Stefano setting up an arms dealer for the feds. Who knows. Maybe he and father can continue changing the DiMera name for the better. EJ gets a faraway look in his eye. Lexie asks him to let her know what the problem is, for she can help him fix it. He sadly admits that is simply not possible. "I can't change the DiMera name because I'm not a DiMera!" he blurts out. Lexie is confused. EJ elaborates. There was a mix-up and Stefano is not his father, nor is she his sister, much to his chagrin. - Will bursts into the empty DiMera mansion, calling out for EJ. Sami shows up, having followed him. He cannot keep avoiding her and she has something to say. Downtrodden Will watches as she enters and shuts the door. He assumes she was against him being gay, which was why she stormed out of their discussion. That was then, this is now. He wants to find EJ now, for he has other things to contend with. Worried Sami wants to know what is going on. She hopes that EJ is not trying to make him do anything dangerous ... Will grows impatient. Sami insists she is sorry she walked out when he told her he was gay. Will appears doubtful that she is sorry, yet she has a suggestion. How about a do-over of their original conversation? He agrees to hear her out. Sami explains she never noticed anything about him before a few months ago, unlike Sonny, whom mama Adrienne said was always struggling. Sami noticed no such struggle with Will over the years. Will quips it was different for him. He just realized who he was. Sami stammers if he was trying to make a point that she was not paying attention, then he succeeded. Will snaps she is making this about herself again. He did not decide to be gay so he could get her attention! - Cam tells Abigail it is nice to see a happily married couple like her folks. She notes they are divorced, but engaged again. Who knows. The third time could be a charm! - Meanwhile, Jack and Jen are seated at the town square together. She wonders if the danger and excitement phase of their relationship is over. He seems to hope not. Flashbacks of their past adventures, wedding, and first baby being born are shown. Jen gushes what they experienced was wonderful and exciting. Jack kisses her. He is seconds away from his latest hot lead ... - Lexie holds onto EJ's hand and worriedly assumes that father has done something wrong. But EJ means this literally. Stefano is not his fatha ...!
