THE SCOOP - Part 2 - EJ informs Lexie that when Stefano found he was not his biological father, he immediately disowned him. Lexie cannot believe he would have disowned EJ. She thinks he will get over it. EJ snaps that HE will not. Stefano even used William to break up his marriage to Nicole, for he could not stand to see him happy. He did not set out to deceive him.The fact that he loves him as a fatha means nothing to the phoenix. Lexie offers to talk some sense into him. EJ warns her not to waste her energy confronting him. He did not even want her to know that she is not his sister. Lexie emotionally declares he is still her brother and nothing will change that! They share a tender embrace. Lexie smiles they have fought and been there for each other. It is the nature of their close relationship that makes him her brother, not some markers on a paternity test. EJ is visibly relieved. He refers to Stefano as his fatha, then catches himself. Lexie suggests a DNA test just to check. EJ frowns Stefano has already made up his mind. Lexie kisses his hand and hugs him. She loves him forever and ever. EJ chuckles and hugs her. He loves her. She giggles there are times she wishes she was not a DiMera. So many people hate their family and father always goes back to being evil. But having EJ as her brother made it all worth it. She believes God brought him to their family so they could be brother and sister. EJ is moved and calls her the sweetest sister. She now wants to talk father. EJ is exasperated. Not his favorite subject! Lexie points out he did love and need EJ, and is now alone. He pushed him away, but why? EJ does not want to feel sorry for the man. Lexie argues he might be hurting even more. She warns him not to end up like Stefano. EJ muses therein lies the irony. "I'm not his son but I'm just like him!" - Will sarcastically tells Sami he will see her later. Sami stops him and reasons at least she does not judge people for who they are. "I love you with everything I've got unconditionally." And now she knows something new about him. That, however, does not change how she feels about her son. He wonders whether she is okay with him being gay. Not exactly. Will sighs he is feeling even worse. Sami clarifies. She is worried about how the rest of the world will treat him. Will calls her fears ridiculous. There are many families with gay loved ones around. Sami emotionally explains he was her first born and they were a team. She cries a huge part of her heart is reserved for him. "I love you so much." She begs him for another chance, Will blinks. - Cameron hopes Abigail will go out with him again. She flirts and invites him to attend her parents' anniversary dinner as her date. He is not sure they would want an outsider. She insists. He is Lexie's brother and her folks liked him. Cam happily accepts. - Jen asks Jack if they have settled down. He gets an unexpected text and grins it seems they have not settled down yet! According to the intel Jack has just received, EJ is secretly planning to run for governor. Jen is determined not to let it happen! Jack starts to make his phone calls, then assures her that their day together is important. Jen urges him to go after the story and stop EJ in his tracks. Jack promises her he will not let any adventure mess up their lives again and hopes she trusts him. Jen insists she does trust him, though she appears a tad wistful when Jack scurries off to follow his hot lead ... - Will emotionally admits Sami drives him insane, but only because he loves her so much. Sami loves him too and wants him to be happy. She does not want anyone to hurt him. She grabs him in a bear hug and they tearfully embrace. She does not want to hurt him ever again. He knows and they hug again. - EJ brings up the sensitive issue of his children eventually finding out they are not DiMeras, particularly little Johnny. Lexie advises him to be the father that they need. EJ now shares that he ran for mayor to make his kids proud. If he gives up this position, he will in essence be losing everything. Lexie now understands. He offers to get the charges dropped against Abraham and Jennifer. Lexie is pleased with the offer and jokes she suspected the mayoral resignation was a long shot. EJ appreciates his sister, whom he feels he does not deserve. They embrace and she looks at him with tears in her eyes, as though seeing him for the very last time. EJ holds her again, then walks out. Lexie watches as he somberly exits and sits back down on the sofa in tears. EJ stands outside the door and silently weeps alone. - Sami perceives Will is still upset about EJ and presses, promising not to judge him. He laments he cannot tell her for she would not understand. Because it is illegal? Negative. Sami demands to know what EJ has done this time. Will confesses that this time, EJ is not the one who is the bad guy ...! END |
