OOPS I DID IT AGAIN!
- Gabi shows up at Chad's dorm, to excitedly show him their first hot magazine ad. He is overwhelmed. She gushes about how grateful she is that he consented to do the modeling thing with her. Chad admires what he calls her natural beauty in the picture and assures her she would have been just as sensational on her own. She hugs him tight. They now toast to their success with juice. She points out it is the beginning. They will,
no doubt, rise even higher. Straight to the top. FAME! Chad, however, is not so sure that the famous, glamorous life appeals to him.
- Abigail and Mel catch up at the coffeehouse. Sympathetic Mel assumes her friend has told Austin the truth. Abigail explains no, she did not, nor does she intend to do so in the future. Mel loses her patience. Delusional Abigail still believes that she and Austin were written in the stars, just as Carrie and Rafe were. Mel points out Austin does not seem to share that sentiment. Abigail reasons he must be confused at the present. The two friends disagree. Things get heated. Abigail implores her to keep her secret. Mel has no intention of telling Austin anything. However, she might have a chance if she comes clean to loverboy now. Secrets have
a way of coming out in Salem and by the time he does find out, he might not forgive her! Abigail suddenly realizes she should step up and tell Austin the truth about their non-affair, the sooner the better. Like tonight!
- Austin is drowning his sorrows at the pub. He informs Kayla he has probably had enough beer for now. He would not want to do anything stupid. Enter Jack, who invites himself to his table. Austin doesn't mind. When Jack asks after the lovely Carrie, Austin sighs she loves another guy! Jack can relate, given the situation he recently found himself in
with Jen and Dan. He is there for him if ever he needs anything. Austin appreciates it. Jack now has a question concerning daughter Abigail.
- At the mansion, EJ is having difficulty with his bloody speech. Kate
has a look and makes a wisecrack about Johnny writing it for him. EJ is
a mess. He needs his right-hand PR partner Nicole. After making fun of
her cheap perfume, Kate gives EJ a pep talk. He will soon have an entire city to run. He still wants Nicole to help him. Kate makes mention of a mysterious plan she now has in the works. He should concentrate on his children and his job. EJ fears her scheme might be scandalous enough to cost him his mayoral position, so he would rather not be involved. He does not seem to want to hear about it. That does not deter Kate one
bit, though ...
- Rafe gives Nicole a glass of water to drink. She thinks she is alright. He reminds her she momentarily fainted a little while ago. He has summoned Dr. Dan, who immediately recognizes that she is dehydrated. To respect the patient's wish for privacy, Dan does not take her to the hospital. He will give her an IV on the spot. He warns her that if she does not eat more, she will have to be hospitalized. Once Dr. Dan has gone, Rafe wonders if she is doing the right thing by concealing her pregnancy from EJ. She feels that is not his business. Rafe questions whether she has the best interest of the child at heart. He reminds her of the existence of a mini-DiMera one tries to hide, with possible abductions and ugly custody battles. Case in point. Sami and the kids she shares with EJ. Nicole wonders if Rafe still loves Sami. He admits he does indeed, but that does not change the fact that he is unable to get past all the lies. Nicole can relate.
- Jack is worried sick about Abigail. If only he knew the identity of the
cad who broke her heart! Austin is sure she will get over it. Jack yearns to destroy the heartbreaker ...
- At the mansion, EJ glumly confides to Kate that he blames himself for losing Nicole. He should not have kept secrets.
- Back at the pub, Kayla serves Jack and Austin. Jack wants to know
how Steve - aka Patchman - fares these days. Kayla explains he is very busy with work. Jack brings up the lengthy book he is writing about what happened in Afghanistan. Austin laments he has a number of articles he must write, Jack graciously offers to help, blissfully unaware that Austin
is the so-called heartbreaker he has been seeking!
- Nicole thinks Sami was a fool to let Rafe go and says so. She is curious about Carrie and that kiss. Rafe explains she is a married woman. Nicole senses he is in love with the two sisters. Heaven help him! She is soon tucked into her bed. Rafe has decided to stay with her, just in case. She thanks him for stepping up in her time of need. If only she had not
trusted EJ again! She now realizes what a fool she was. Rafe reasons to err is human. Their hands touch. Nicole soon falls asleep in her comfy bed. Rafe removes his shirt, ready to sleep on the floor. And so the stage is set for chaos!.
- Dan and daughter Mel are at the town square when Kate happens by. Mel excuses herself. Kate warns Dan to stay away from her daughter Billie! It was sick enough how he made moves on daughter Chelsea and then her. Dan is amused, then becomes annoyed by her paranoia. He
walks off.
- Gabi enlightens Chad on why she is so excited at the prospect of becoming a successful model. She doubts he can even imagine what it feels like to be poor. The moment is interrupted when Mel calls Chad.
He updates her on the ad and they plan their romantic evening. She
means everything to him! Lolita Gabi impulsively hides an earring under his pillow, to cause trouble ...!
- Abigail has finally ventured to the pub to spill the beans to Austin. She runs into Jack, who wonders why she is there. To have a conversation with Austin. Kayla now receives word that Bo might be waking up at the hospital. Austin offers to close up the pub. Jack points out he will be too busy for any talking now. He will drive her home ...
- EJ bursts into Nicole's tranquil room and demands to know WOT the hell Rafe is doing. Nicole's eyes fly open. Rafe would like to know how
he gained access to the room. He managed to obtain a key at the front desk. Rafe warns him to back off. EJ assumes Nicole is sharing her bed with another man and barks at her to shut up when she tries to explain.
He calls her a HO. Rafe hauls off and slugs him. EJ leers that Rafe is going to regret his actions on this day! Tough guy Rafe is up for the challenge. EJ warns Nicole that she does not really know where this character has been, so she should get herself checked out, and angrily takes his leave. Nicole sends a glass flying and yells after the SON OF
A B*TCH ...!
