Hunks, Babies, and Corporate Spies!
- Billie checks out a hunk from behind as he works out at the spa. Turns out to be none other than Dr. Dan! He refers to her spending so much time at Bo's bedside. She hopes he will wake up soon. Dan assures her
he is doing everything possible. He points out Bo is a strong man, so he still has a chance. He seems to want to know more about the exact nature of the relationship between the tough cop and the girl with beautiful eyes. Billie enlightens him. They're just friends who share a daughter. Just friends.
- Abe and Lexie have coffee at the Brady pub. He is hopeful but she remains standoffish and does not want to be pressured. She gets her back up when he mentions missing her and Theo a great deal. He is desperate to get their family back together. Abe is troubled when Lexie informs him that because of all the bad publicity, Theo does not even wish to see
him! She has gotten psychologist Marlena involved in how to talk to
Theo, too. Abe vows to do whatever it takes to make things right and get their family back together. Lexie is doubtful and departs.
- Rafe checks up on Nicole on account of EJ harassing her at the town square. Nicole is not quite herself, given her expectant state. Rafe has no idea that she harbors a secret. Not yet, that is ...
- Lucas has found out that Kate is making Sami work overtime. He has ventured to Countess W to offer her his help. Sami overreacts when he insists the mole will be exposed sooner or later ...
- When Rafe shows Nicole some yummy fried chicken he picked up before coming to her hotel, she is unable to continue her charade. She runs off to get sick to her stomach. Rafe is no fool. He notes she is not running a fever. She blanches when he mentions food again. Rafe does the math and wonders whether she is pregnant. Bingo! Nicole sees no reason to deny it. He sincerely hopes that EJ is not the father. Wrong! Rafe urges her to get medical care from a doctor. She explains she has one. He now hears that she has no intention of telling EJ anything about her pregnancy, even though time is not on her side ...
- Lucas and Sami discuss Will working for EJ. Sami is petrified that he will end up being a thug. Will assures her that their son will be just fine in the end, in spite of the lure of the DiMera money and high lifestyle. Sami, however, fears she messed up his life. How could he go to work for the DiMeras? Lucas explains he is only eighteen years old and it is also his first real job. Sami still does not understand. Lucas does, but he worries that Will is eventually going to be hit with a huge reality check. He now gets back to the mole business and shares his idea. He can look into who at Countess W contacted Mad World via email. That would at least give them an ip. Sami does not think he should be the one to do it. Lucas assures her they will find that backstabbing mole. She has a strange reaction. Lucas becomes suspicious that she does not want him to discover the identity of the corporate spy in his mother's company. Sami can take it no longer and blurts out that she is the mole!
- Dan admires the view as Billie practices on the bag. He is impressed. They flirt and Dan offers to help her with her footwork. Billie is surprised that a surgeon would box, given the importance of his hands. Dan updates her on his occasional hand tremors. She is sorry. He is not really. He is a surgeon no more, but he is satisfied to still be a doctor and help patients. As they flirtspar, Billie gets in a jab. Dan takes it all in stride and wants
to have a look at her sore hand. Billie becomes uncomfortable and tries to avoid him touching her hand. She suddenly gets sarcastic about him making moves on patients and the women in her family. Dan claims he is not interested in her that way. She admits she is recovering from a bad relationship and is also friends with Jack and Jen. Dan understands. They agree to be boxing pals. That's all ...
- Sami tells Lucas the tale of her betrayal, which ended when she quit Mad World for real. Lucas gets a headache. He is miffed that Sami tried to destroy his mother. She reasons Kate started it. He thinks this kind of thing is typical of her. Sami feels she has things under control and argues that he is the same as her! Lucas insists he has changed. But he will not tell anyone her secretly, in part because he is convinced it will come out. And then she will have to deal with the wrath of Kate. Not a good thing!
- Rafe wants Nicole to get checked out by a doctor. She gets sick to her stomach again. He persists. He has learned from her that Dan is her
secret doctor. Perhaps it is time to send for him. Nicole feels she only has the flu and decides to go back to bed. All of a sudden, she becomes feeble and faints ...!
