WISE GUYS!
- Sami ventures to the office, having just gotten back from her business trip. She is looking forward to seeing the kids. At Countess W, boss lady Kate awaits. Sami soon finds out that her desk has been given to new co-CEO Billie! Sami wonders if she even has a job at Countess W anymore, given that Billie is family. Kate explains that she is being cautious to work with people she trusts. It is her hope that Sami will find this mole! She then gives Sami extra work to do, making her stay at the office late to discover the identity of the mole. Kate taunts Sami that she and Billie
can have dinner with her children and tuck them into bed while she keeps on working! They waltz off together. Sami is incensed.
- Impatient boss EJ has been leaving snarly messages for young hire Will, demanding he report to him or else! Will arrives at the mansion in a flash. EJ is annoyed it took so many messages to make him appear. He has a job for him to do. Enter Lucas, who declares that effective immediately,
he is firing EJ as Will's boss! EJ responds with sarcasm. Lucas stares him down and talks tough. Will points out he is no longer a kid who needs to be protected. EJ lists the perks of being in his employ. Lucas urge his son to quit. EJ claims he may do as he pleases. He is not forcing him to do anything. Will informs Lucas he likes his new life. Lucas snaps they
could end up ordering him to commit murder, given what kind of person EJ DiMera is. Will stands firm in his decision. He loves his father, but he stays. Lucas forbids it. EJ understands why Lucas would be so miffed
and smugly remarks he did do time for Will's crime, which might explain Lucas' frustration. Things get heated. Lucas now threatens to contact the media about this blackmail. He tries to reason with Will that given all the bad things the DiMeras have done to their family, he is practically in bed with the enemy! Will refuses to change his mind, noting that Lucas has not exactly been a good role model himself! He adds that he and EJ now
have work matters to attend to. EJ is amused and impressed.
- Abigail is with Austin at the town square, mulling over whether she should share her big truthful reveal with Carrie as well. Austin does not think that will be possible at this point. She is presently with Rafe! Also
at the town square, Chad is with Gabi, unaware that Mel has gone to the pub, where she assumes he will be waiting!
- Brady has returned to the pub, where Kayla is working. He needs a drink! Brady still has Madison on his mind. Enter Mel. She tries to talk to him, though he wants to be alone. Mel spies papa Dan and lets him know that Brady is not in a good way. Dan decides to join him. Brady laments he could just kill that bastard Ian! Dan assures him he shall overcome.
He seems to believe he should cut his losses and move on.
- Madison returns to her room, only to find Ian waiting with dinner and champagne. She purposely wrecks the pretty setup and makes a snide remark. She is still upset that Ian made her turn her back on the man she loved. Ian pretends to be sorry. He now reminds her that she seemed to be happy being married to him once upon a time. She reminds him he used to cheat on her shamelessly. They argue and he leers Brady turned her into a weak mess. Madison ends up crying, feeling that her life has been destroyed.
- Sneaky Gabi has turned off Chad's phone, so he does not see any of
the text messages Mel is sending him. Kayla wonders why she doesn't
just go the old fashioned route and make an actual call. Mel does just
that. However, Chad has just stepped away and Gabi makes sure he does not see that he had a call from Mel! Meanwhile Mel has decided that she is just going to track him down in person.
- After Abigail hears Austin complain about losing Carrie, as well as the fact that she is now with Rafe, she promises to love him always. He just wants her to stop the insanity! There is nothing between them!
- Mel catches up with Gabi and Chad, who have been dining at the town square, discussing modeling. She explains she left him messages. Funny, since he never received them.The happy couple are ready for the next thing they will do together. Gabi stews.
- Abigail becomes optimistic that she and Austin will have a chance to be together since Carrie is busy with Rafe. Austin reminds her they are not
an item. Obsessed Abigail refuses to listen!
- At the pub, Kate updates Billie on knowing that the mole is Sami. Billie would have expected her to just fire her but Kate has something meaner
in store ...
- Meanwhile, Sami woefully stares at a photo of Rafe and the family in happier times, though she is still stuck in her office.
- Back at the mansion, EJ purrs that Will has morphed into his own man.
This calls for a drink. He announces he has very big plans for Will ...
