There is not much else for them to do. Hope suddenly says Oh My God and picks up a familiar pamphlet. Does he remember this place? He drawls he most certainly does. They flash back to a romantic evening as the pawn and Gina when they were there together before. Hope feels humiliated. John points out it would be a good idea for them to talk about all that transpired between them once upon a time. She does not see why. He reasons it will make them prepared instead of feeling threatened by what they might remember. Hope folds her arms and insists she and Bo are on solid ground. So are he and Marlena. He adds Stefano assumed they would shut down. John now reminds her what happened between them was not real like what they have now. Hope is concerned that their spouses might not be so understanding. She touches up her lipstick. John does not want her to play into Stefano's hands. She powders her face and mentions seeing the sights. He decides he should give her space and makes for the door. She blocks his path, demanding he enlighten her on what is really going on. "Why don't you just tell me what it is, John!" She offers her police help but he would rather not put her in this kind of danger. Hope will not be dismissed, so he proceeds to fill her in ... - Nicole has a home pregnancy test. She sighs how can she be preggers when there is loud knocking at the door of her hotel room. Tis Dr. Dan checking up on her. She appreciates it and calls him nice, He remains sympathetic to her plight. Nicole complains about EJ cheating on her with Sami. She will never again believe he changed! Concerned Dan sits her down on the bed in a meditating position and remarks her pulse is elevated. She has a lot on her mind. He wonders if she wants to have this baby. She admits she is terrified and could not handle another loss of a child. Dan explains fate can sometimes be a challenge. She realizes he means this is a challenge and readily agrees. She touches her tummy and shares that she already realized she would never be alone again. Then again, what if something goes wrong? Dan is admittedly no OBGYN, though she must first minimize her stress. He thinks the father should also be involved, but Nicole snaps EJ cannot be made aware that the child is his! Dan disagrees. Nicole repeats he cannot tell EJ. He must promise her he will repeat nothing! Dan agrees but warns he knows what can happen, as he was once on the other side of such a situation. Nicole thinks that was different. She continues complaining about EJ cheating. Dan offers her a hand. She gratefully accepts it. Dan drawls he realizes EJ is a bastard, but does she really wish to withhold such a thing from him ...? - Lexie runs into EJ at the town square. She notices the cut on his face but would rather not talk. He insists he is not the bad guy for winning the election. She informs him he is a manipulative liar. He reminds her of the accusations against Abe. She counters not to insult her husband. He now claims to have a political proposition. She claims not to be interested until he informs her that he has a health care initiative. He intends to invest in preventative medicine. The doctor in Lexie is intrigued and so she listens. He grins she knows a good idea when she hears one. Lexie asks if he is seeking her support. He explains she would be the health commissioner. She now bitterly accuses him of just wanting her on his payroll. He will give her time. She points out she does not trust him. He claims to know the pain she is going through, for he too has lost something dear. Lexie wonders what. "My wife," he murmurs. And he regrets what he did. Lexie is surprised he is taking responsibility for his actions. He explains he is in pain and could use the support of his sister right now. Lexie promises to think about it and walks off. EJ calls after her that he loves her ... - Rafe tosses a photo of himself and Sami in the trash as he cleans out the office. Enter Sami. He wants to know what she is doing there. She is hoping to talk. He would rather not. She understands it is all her fault. However, she is in need of his help. He glances at her and pretends to be busy. He lets her know he cannot be around her. Sami explains she has to travel on biz so maybe he can help with the kids. He growls at her to quit her corporate espionage, only to learn that she quit Mad World and is now officially employed by Kate. Sami insists he should be with the kids as they miss him. So does she! Rafe sighs. Of course he is there for the kids, no need to hesitate in asking. When will it be? She will get back to him. Sami smiles he is welcome to stay at the loft. He sits at his desk and warns her not to push. Sami blinks back the tears and explains times have been tough. Rafe replies he will always do right by their family, for he loves them. Sami wants to know if that includes her. She babbles she is sorry she blamed him for Johnny's disappearance. Rafe airily replies one can only live and learn, then move on. She laments Will is in pain and she cannot help him. She wants Rafe to talk to him and remind him she is his mother who loves him. Rafe believes the boy already knows it. Maybe now she will realize there are consequences for her actions. Sami woefully states she never thought losing him would be one of them. She loves him and implores him to give her a chance. Rafe coldly explains he might have been able to get over her tryst with EJ. However, the problem is that she lied to him time and time again! Sami grabs his arm, declaring she knows that he still loves her. She begs him to admit it and give them another chance. She cries about not wanting her family to be torn apart. She cries and cries and begs some more. She cannot be without him! Rafe does not believe she will change, sighs he is sorry, and walks out.
