He is sorry about taking long with work and wonders whether she shared their news with powerful papa Stefano. Not yet, for he is in Chicago at present. Brady pours himself a beverage and she flirts. Brady laments he must go out and tell someone his news face to face. She assures him she understands. They will have the rest of their lives together and he has to explain it to someone in the best possible way. He thanks her and they kiss. She gushes she is so happy and he exits. Kristen now frowns and tells herself something is not right. - At the town square café, EJ is sorry this is not such a romantic beginning. Sami, however, thinks him helping Will is the most romantic thing in the world and kisses him. After the kiss, she admits she will still deck Kristen if she dares to get in her face! EJ charmingly chuckles. - As the coffee house door opens, Sonny the proprietor snaps they are closed. Nick enters regardless and they face off. What the hell does he want?! Nick demands to know where Will is. He assumes Sonny’s boyfriend is with Gabi. Sonny refuses to tell him a damn thing. He owes him nothing. Nick tries to talk tough. Sonny Kiriakis accuses him of digging up dirt. He gives him a dark look and blasts him for making Will sign away his rights. Nick claims he was protecting Gabi from Sami. Sonny snaps the truth is that he cannot stand the idea of two gays having anything to do with the child. That was the real reason he did it. Obsessed homophobe Nick leers that for once, he is right. Sonny exclaims he used to be a decent guy. What happened to him ? Nick notes he was weak, got hooked on pills, and killed someone. He insists he must find Gabi and Will. Sonny warns him not to hurt Will. Nick starts to go. Sonny demands to know what he intends to do and grabs him to prevent him from leaving. Nick loses it. “Get your hands off me, faggot!” Sonny’s eyes are filled with rage and he slugs him. Nick falls back, then gets up and starts to struggle with Sonny. He yells he knows he just wants to get his parole revoked. Sonny advises him to get help and talk to someone, a priest or a shrink cos he is messed up. Nick thinks he has no idea what he has been through and yells he is happy. Sonny reminds him he is trying to destroy poor Will. Nick leers Will is going to be fine, since he has him, and exits in his disheveled state. - Will, meanwhile, confesses to Gabi that having to give up his little girl is indeed tearing him apart. She is sorry and assures him they will still be connected. Will pretends he thought he did the right thing. Besides, his mom was acting possessed. They sit and talk. Will wishes Chad would have kept his silence and prevented everyone from knowing he was the father. But what about the paper that is signed? Will would rather think of that later. Gabi suddenly blurts out she is aware of why he did this. Will gets worried. Gabi explains Nick seems to know something about his family that could hurt him. She knows not what it is but Nick used it to convince him to sign the papers. Will gets sarcastic about the word “convince”. Gabi thinks Nick wants to protect her and baby. Will wonders if she really thinks she needs protecting from him. Gabi claims the problem is his mom. She figures Sami and EJ pushed him into asking for a paternity test. They might push him into seeking full custody too. Will mutters he is no pushover. Gabi promises she would never keep him from his daughter but Will suggests she should talk to Nick about that. - Chloe is distraught to see Dan and Jen making love inside the romantic cabin and notices a shovel outside. Dan and Jen stop when they hear a noise. Jen talks bears. Dan pulls on his pants and goes outside wielding a broom. When he finds nothing, he goes back inside. Jen extends her arms and insists macho guy come back to her. Chloe stands unseen behind a tree and silently cries. She makes her way home and cries to mama Nancy that she has lost Daniel for good. She wanted to die when she saw him with Jen. Nancy offers to come up with a strategy. Chloe is dismal. The redhead insists she is more talented and sexier than that Jen Horton. The cupcake girl may be blonde and thin and rich but she has something more than that. She has Parker! Fancy Nancy the fighter points out to her crying daughter that Jennifer will never give Daniel a child. That makes her a bit of turbulence, nothing more. The time has come to focus on long term goals. Chloe feels Dan is different than most men. She remembers what he was like when he fell in love with her. He is not the kind of man who cheats or leaves. Meanwhile, back at the cabin, Jen and shirtless Dan bask in the afterglow. They made it and he is never letting her go. Never. - Kristen opens the mansion door in a skimpy red outfit for her baby Brady, but EJ and Sami are there, not her fiancé. They are seeking an audience with Stefano. Kristen ties the belt on her pretty mini robe and explains he is not in town. Is there a message? EJ announces he and Samantha and the children are all moving in. Kristen hugs upbeat Sami and notes father will be pleased. Brady will be ecstatic. Sami suddenly spies the ring on her finger and suspiciously asks what it is. Kristen holds up her sparkly ring finger with a smile. She gets some bubbly for the pair and confirms she and Brady are getting hitched. Sami is amazed he popped the question. EJ notes he will be his brotha in law. Sami forces a smile and finishes her drink fast when Kristen coos they will be sisters. - Brady heads to the rectory to inform brother Eric that he has asked Kristen to marry him. Eric thinks he is a complete fool and says so. Brady sarcastically notes it sounds like he will not be marrying them. Father Eric explains he did not say that and invites him to take a seat. He does. The priest questions whether Brady is happy. Brady insists this was what he wanted. Eric sighs he wants the best for him and asks what weighs on his mind. Brady claims there is nothing and stands up, then turns around, and confesses he is scared.
