He loooooves her. She gushes she will marry him and the happy couple kiss and kiss and kiss. She suddenly stops and asks what changed his mind, then decides it matters not. She is over the moon and kisses him again. She stops. However, it was rather sudden. Brady assures her this feels right. She lets out a cry of joy and throws her arms around him. He notices how she is just beaming. More kissing! - At the coffee house, Nicole complains to herself about Eric wanting that menace to society to hang around the rectory. She glances at an envelope on her table and smirks she will do God’s work. - Gabi and Nick wake up in their honeymoon bed together. Nick lovingly fusses over his wife and tells her of Maggie’s invitation that they both live at the mansion until the baby is born. Gabi gushes it is a nice idea and answers Caroline’s call despite Nick’s protests. Nick sighs. Gabi explains she needs to cover for her downstairs as Caroline forgot she had an appointment. Nick kisses her and marvels they will have the rest of their lives to be together. He wants to make her happy. So he claims. - Hope and Father Eric escort Vargas the felon fella into the overly heated rectory. It is too darn hot! Eric goes to shut the heat off. Vargas sweetly asks Hope to suggest counseling for him. He cannot imagine someone locked up not needing to talk about it. Hope is impressed. Eric now bears news. Someone will come and check the heating. Meantime, he knows a good place they can go for lunch. When they get to the pub, Vargas gets a strange look in his eye. Gabi asks Hope if they are ready to order. Hope wonders why she is back at work. Gabi explains Caroline must have forgotten her situation and needed her to cover. At the table, Eric talks resume writing. Vargas points out he is no genius, though he is ready and willing to work hard for what he wants! Ominous music is heard. Hope now goes upstairs and congratulates Nick. He senses she has something on her mind. Hope suggests he get some counseling in case he is carrying baggage from his prison experience. She hopes he will consider talking to someone. Nick diverts his gaze. Meanwhile, downstairs, Vargas admits to the padre that he has been in and out of institutions his entire life. He is determined to make sure he never sees the inside of a cage again! - John stands alone at the town gate, leaving another desperate message for his son to give him a chance. Meanwhile, Brady ignores the messages. Kristen bears champagne but Brady explains there is something important he must look after first. He kisses his fiancée and promises to return soon. Kristen toys with the bottle and cannot believe this is happening. She is bursting to tell someone! - Jen is at Horton house, informing Abigail she is going to Smith’s Isle for a couple of days. What about Daniel? That is not a good topic for Jen and she seems to have given up on their romance. Meanwhile, Dan pines after a photo of himself and Jen and decides to make it happen now, make it right! He comes close to calling the fair Jen, then decides he will race over and tell her in person that he loves her! Meanwhile, Abigail wonders why her mom is so mad at lover man Dan. Jen would rather not discuss. Pretty Abigail wants to help. Jen explains she has to step back and concentrate on other things. Abigail thinks she should call Dan but Jen insists the last thing she wants is to hear from him! Shortly after, Dan shows up, his eyes filled with hope. Abigail informs him her mom has already headed for Smith Island for some alone time. Dan is disappointed. Abigail admits it sounded like things did not go well the last time they talked. Dan deduces perhaps he should not have come after all. He leaves the picture with Abigail, who now gets a call. Dan opens the door to depart and runs into elated Kristen. - Chloe is online, booking a seat on Dan’s flight to San Francisco. Nancy wrestles her iphone away and exclaims she is overplaying her hand again! She could lose! Chloe just wants Jen out of their lives. Fancy Nancy advises her not to push things and sarcastically reminds missy she has been screwing up her life. This is all about strategy. Chloe announces she is going to take Parker for a walk to think. Nicole arrives and informs Nancy she will wait for Chloe to return. She refers to Chloe and Nancy as squatters. Nancy tries to kick her out but Nicole is determined to make Chloe see her place even if she is in Dan’s place! She thinks Chloe is a tramp. Nancy disagrees and calls Nicole a fair weather friend. Nicole snaps she has been more of a friend to the diva than her own mother. She asks how that out of her league hubby of hers is. Nancy issues her a warning. Nicole declares she is gonna make it rain on Chloe’s parade! Meanwhile, Jen and her ferry ticket run into Chloe, who is pleased she is taking a trip. She and Lucas enjoyed living at the cabin on Smith Island. Jen gets impatient. Chloe claims they used to be family. Jen calls her a whoreable (horrible) mistake her brother made! Jen now suggests she set it up to make it appear she was in bed with passed out Dan. Chloe plays innocent. Jen hisses she is a liar and a duplicitous tramp! Chloe blinks her baby blues and smirks she is now certain Daniel will never want to be with her. Things get intense fast ... - Brady joins John by the town gate and growls what does he want? John sighs he is not perfect. He implores him to understand he did what he did out of love. His instincts propelled him to keep him from being hurt. He hopes he can find it in his heart to give him another chance. Brady stares. John wants a reaction. He is about to get one ... - Kristen is sorry that things are not good between Dan and Jen, She will leave her friend a note and also dishes out some advice for Dan. She cares about her friend … Did he really do it? Dan frowns. Did he do what? Did he sleep with that Chloe? Dan wonders where on earth she heard such a thing. From Jennifer’s lips. He explains it did not happen and is perplexed. Kristen informs him what Jen told her, that Chloe opened the door to his room when he was passed out on the bed, half naked. Then Chloe insisted nothing happened. Dan suddenly understands, profusely thanks Kristen, and takes off. - Chloe accuses Jen of calling her a whore in front of her little son. Jen denies the charge. Chloe insists Daniel loves the both of them more than her and indignantly leaves with the stroller and Parker. She goes back to the apartment, where Nicole munches a banana and wonders about her good mood. Nancy notes Nicole’s mood. She goes to read Parker a story about a blonde evil witch! Chloe asks her once pal what is up. Nicole primly brings up her application for the church music board, which was rejected. She pours the torn pieces of paper out of the envelope. Chloe is not fussed about it. Nicole stands up and warns she will not allow her to use Eric and his church to further her sinful agenda. Exit Nicole. Chloe now gushes to fancy Nancy it is time to celebrate the official end of Daniel and Jennifer! Nancy assumes the fair widow is leaving. Chloe smugly states Dan is on a plane while Jen is on a boat. They are thousands of miles apart and that is definitely something to smile about. - Back at the pub, Vargas and Hope thank Father Eric for paying for lunch. The humble holy man credits the guy upstairs. He steps away for a moment and Vargas humbly thanks Hope for her help too. Hope is all for second chances and brings up her cousin Nick Fallon as an example of someone who got his life back on track. “Good for him,” pleasantly says his arch enemy. Hope notes they were in Statesville at the same time. Did he happen to know him? Pause. He admits the name rings a bell. Nearby, Eric congratulates blushing bride Gabi. She is sorry about the past deception. All is forgiven. In fact, the father has a wedding gift bag and urges her to open it. A bottle of wine. It is symbolic as Christ could turn water into wine, in the spirit of celebration. It means a bad situation can be turned into something wonderful, just like her and Will and Nick’s situation with the blessed baby. Gabi hugs him, grateful for his gift and especially the forgiveness. Father Eric returns and the gang are off. But Vargas turns back and takes a very long look at Gabi. Eerie music is heard ...
