At Horton house, JJ happily arranges to meet Bev at the lake. When he hangs up the phone, Jen gives him a judgmental look ... Paige is clad in her little black dress ready to meet her online Romeo. Daphne is with her, worried about her sudden preference for more mature men. Paige holds her head high and sends her friend to the next table so she can await her date like a woman of the world ... Woman in white Eve is extremely agitated that Theresa is not working at the hospital when she needs her. Madame Milbauer muses she knows not if she will ever show up ... Theresa is horrified. How could Brady think she would continue to work when she is now a full-time mom! He reminds her of the agreement she signed the other day. She is only part-time with Tate ... Clyde is on a call with his flunky, who has filled him in on the return of the phoenix. Clyde thinks he can handle him the way he thinks he handled Kiriakis. Meanwhile Stefano the formidable foe is on his own call at DiMera mansion, assuring his associate not to worry. The Devereaux girl and his son will soon come around as planned ... At the square, Chad is saddened by the sight of Ben and Abigail's passionate kiss. Ben greets him with a grin and gloats they are moving in together. He acts like he wants to keep things civil and extends a hand. Abigail is extremely anxious ... Jen is unable to talk JJ out of being with Bev. He promises no using but does not want to be alone. Jen thinks he is being unfair to the girl who cares for him by using her. JJ believes they are both using each other to have a little fun and forget ... Soap heroine in red Marlena reminds Eve they have an appointment ... Brady adds insult to injury by informing Theresa he has no intention of supporting her - only Tate. He solemnly suggests she keep that job of hers and repeats her mansion move-in is temporary. Theresa is indignant ... As it turns out Paige's meetup Mark is older than she was led to believe so she sends the bearded hopeful on his way, coldly claiming it would not work ... JJ refuses to join Jen at her workplace today and tells her he is starting to go insane. Jen is a tad touchy about that word. Her son sighs he is sorry he said it but grandma Laura is alright now. She tries to be positive about JJ starting his job with Sonny tomorrow ... Eve is with Marlena in her office. The benevolent blonde has a few names but Eve finds something wrong with them all. Marlena smiles she can make a list but first asks for details about the drama with her daughter. Eve explains her uneasiness given Marlena's closeness to the Horton clan. She notes she knows she helped Laura. Marlena, however, does not discuss any of her cases. What is she hoping for? Eve exclaims all she wants is to have her daughter back ... Abigail anxiously excuses herself. Chad tells Ben to treat her right. Ben boasts for the rest of their lives. But he cannot forget hearing his dream girl's conversation with the DiMera a few days earlier ... When Clyde pays Ben a visit he is unpacking boxes. Clyde is delighted the fair Abigail is moving in. Ben looks ready to explode regardless ... At the office Abigail updates mama Jen on moving in with Ben. Jen notes her long face. Abigail feigns concern for JJ ... At DiMera mansion, Chad finds father phoenix at his chess set. He dares to ask a question Kate also had. WHY did he decide to return to Salem now? After all, timing is everything. Stefano symbolically moves his pawn ... Theresa is miffed when Brady makes nice with the nanny and storms off to work. Brady has some bonding time with his son as he gives him his bottle. The nurturing nanny comes back and he apologizes for the argument with Theresa she overheard. She smiles he is a great father and takes Tate when the boss gets a call from Black. John Black ... Suave John is standing outside the club and hopes to come over to visit the first grandson. Brady thinks they should talk at another location as he has to fill him in first. They agree on Club TBD ... Theresa drags her feet into her hospital job, bitterly complaining to Madame Milbauer that things are not working out between her and Brady as hoped. He treats her like dirt and is making her work. Anne has little sympathy since she should have known better than to expect anything and adds Eve was looking for her ... Theresa texts Eve that she is here now. Eve jumps up and runs out to take the call, pretending it could be Paige. Once with Theresa, she tells her she will help her if she helps her first. She needs the master key to gain access to Marlena's files right now. Theresa does not want to chance it but changes her mind when sis states it will be payback for Jen ... Clyde advises his belligerent boy to fess up about what is making him so furious he could almost explode ... Jen is ever so supportive of Abigail and then hands her a letter from Ireland. Abigail reads it alone. Tis about Bridget, who looked after her when she was a wee one. The lass is on her last leg ... JJ and Bev love being at the lake. She helps him get shirtless but Kyle interrupts and informs her a friend is looking for her. Bev steps away, promising to be back soon. Kyle the dealer would like to discuss business with JJ and asks to buy his client list or get into business with him. JJ turns him down cos he is done with that ... John and Brady are at the club. When Brady drops the bombshell about Theresa being at the mansion, John jokes Henderson has to put away all the fire pokers. Brady assures him Maggie already took care of it. He promises he will not let Theresa take advantage this time ... Theresa is on the move and hands Eve the master keys, mentioning the staff meeting Marlena has in a few minutes. Now Eve is on the move ... Bev comes back annoyed Kyle's claim that someone wanted to speak with her was wrong. Kyle plays it cool but the pair decide to go elsewhere. Kyle watches. So does a middle-aged man in the bushes. He gets on his phone with the boss, noting that is the second time JJ Devereaux met with the dealer. He will keep watching ... Back at work, Theresa tells Anne she can only count on herself. Anne empties the designer items in her online shopping cart and advises her to give up. Brady will never take her back ... Back at the club, Paige notices Brady and John. She notes one of them would do just fine. Daphne now gets it. Her friend is up to something ... Stefano reasons he is grrrrrieving the loss of EJ and wants to be with his last son standing. Chad doubts that ... Eve feigns a crying fit so she can wipe away her tears while Marlena is in her meeting ...Once alone, she unlocks the filing cabinet and finds Laura Horton's heavy psychiatric history in a folder ... Paige is all about REVENGE, Daphne wants the juicy details ... JJ and Bev are seated at the square with lunch. He has a bad feeling about Kyle wanting something from him and says so ... Ben blurts out to Clyde that he overheard a telling conversation. Abigail slept with Chad DiMera the other night! ... Abigail puts down the letter about Bridget's failing health and sighs ... Back at the mansion, Brady holds Tate ...Back at the nurse's station, Theresa notices a couple clinging to one another. She finds out their son fell off a slide. Before it happened they were not getting along, but then the accident changed everything. Theresa gets to thinking ... Theresa's new idea...! Eve is on her way out and slides the folder in her handbag but before she can make her great escape, ponytail Jen walks in. They bump. The handbag falls to the floor, folder and all ... THE END! Ahead on Days: Paige steps it up. So does Eve. Adrienne is served! Clyde tries to take on the phoenix. Hah! |
