Episode 12,112 - Nicole cries and tries to wake perspiring, poisoned, gasping Eric. Meanwhile Kristen tries to make her great escape but is stopped by George the clerk. She tells him to go away in French but soon finds her path blocked by a cop who wonders what is in her bag! She threatens to call his chief or her friend zee governor. The cop relents. George insists she is a thief for she did not properly check in and was making off with a key! She claims she is no freeloader. They wonder what her profession really is and what she was really doing there! Meanwhile, Eric starts to come to, until he flashes back to having sex and passes out again. Nicole cradles his head and begs him to speak to her! She now realizes he is burning up and goes to get a washcloth. The shirtless priest shivers and shudders in the bed. She dabs his head with the cold cloth and tells him she needs him. He gasps her name. "Nicole!" He does not seem to understand why she is here. She explains he left his notes. He gasps and shivers and she leans his head back, then tries to call a doctor. Unable to find her phone, she is dismayed to discover the hotel phone is not working. Nicole goes downstairs to get help. Eric is practically convulsing. Meanwhile, the female clerk stops the cop from cuffing Nicole, who has been mistaken for a prostitute. She confesses she did not do the correct paperwork. Kristen calls them stupeeeed and threatens to sue. She is already on her way out when Nicole races in, crying for help. Kristen believes she has won. But her illusion of victory is to be short lived ... - At the coffee house, romance is in the air. At least Chad DiMera thinks so. He inches closer to the object of his affection for a kiss. The virgin in pink gasps and exclaims she thought tonight was about being together as friends only! Chad is sorry too cos he never wanted to be just friends! Abigail gasps that she and Cameron ... Chad decidedly drawls Cam is not the right guy for her. Besides, she did agree to the amusement park date when she could have been with Cam. He is sorry about everything that happened with Gabi and gave her her space but now he is not giving up on her without a fight! She appears to be caught off guard, overwhelmed. He points out life always throws them together. She sighs about the secret they are keeping from the police. Chad admires her beliefs. She hopes he is not referring to her virginity. He teases she is blushing but seriously, he respects her for waiting for the right guy. Abigail gets flustered and decides it is time to go. He hands her the panda and she whispers thanks, momentarily mesmerized. Then she is gone. - In apartment 14, the baby is crying. Sonny cannot find her blanket. Will searches in the living room. Sonny is in the other room with Gabi and crying baby. Knock knock! Will now opens the door to unshaven disheveled Nick. He has brought a mobile to hang over baby’s crib. Sonny emerges, accepts it, and thanks him, returning to the room. The baby stops crying. Will grins it worked and invites the nervous genius in. Will assumes he wants to see Gabi but Nick actually wants to speak with him. He is here to apologize. Will says not necessary and emotionally adds he will never forget that he brought him his baby girl. And when he heard what Jensen did to him in prison, he realized maybe that was why things got messed up. He is sympathetic. Nick laments if he was a good guy like Will, this would not have happened. He goes on to say Arianna will have a great father. Sonny and Gabi appear and Gabi wonders if Nick is alright. She had heard about boss lady Kate firing him and is sorry. He solemnly states it was probably for the best. Sonny thanks him for helping them get the baby to sleep and tells Gabi they have it covered if they wish to go for a walk. Gabi thanks him and departs with subdued Nick. Sonny intends to make the most of their alone time and gives Will a kiss. - Marlena is at the rectory, unable to find Eric, who is not answering his cell phone. The sister smiles he must be preparing for the big meeting. The mama in blue hopes he will have time to relax as well. - Dan has a fantasy of answering his door shirtless, the fair Jen throwing herself into his arms. Back to reality! A colleague asks for the meds orders. Dr. Dan hands them over, and then spies Jen, who pouts and walks away. He sighs, then gets back to the computer at the nurse’s station. Moments later Jen returns and hopes she is not interrupting. He breathes she is not and she holds up the sweet card and note to her he had dropped, she had then found. Did he really want a do over? If only he could trust her to handle her son her own way! Pause. He laments she will love and support JJ the bad boy no matter what. She accuses him of thinking the worst of him. Marlena now interrupts and asks for a moment with Dan. Petulant Jen storms off. -Nicole is back with Eric. George the clueless clerk is confused as he seemed fine earlier. He warns there might be a long wait in the ER. The cop has gone to summon an ambulance. Nicole insists her priest will get the best care possible and it will be in Salem ... - Back at apartment 14, Sonny opens the door to Chad, who asks him and Will if the baby is asleep. Indeed.
