Episode 12,108 - Will woefully sighs at the newspaper he has been reading from his hospital bed. He wishes Sonny had told him his illustrious mother was in jail again. Sonny explains there is nothing he can do but EJ is all over this for Sami plus now his papa Justin is representing her. Will is grateful to hear it. Sonny now decides to show Will a video of him and Ari. He then stares. It is not the right video! In fact, it is the video clip of Sami battling Bernardi! Pause. Sonny does not show it to him. Will thanks him for enlisting lawyer Justin. He loves Sonny. Sonny smiles and steps out for a moment. He anxiously places a call ... Meanwhile, at the Kiriakis mansion, Adrienne argues with her husband that he is defending a cop killer by being Sami’s lawyer. He muses nothing she does or says will change his mind or keep Sonny away from Will. Adrienne snaps they simply must get their son away from that train wreck family! Will almost got Sonny killed on Smith Island! Justin patiently points out that Will was the one who took the bullet. Adrienne quips maybe this time but next time their little boy could be the victim. Justin replies their little boy happens to be a grown man and she will not be able to dictate his partners, or her husband’s clients. He pleasantly kisses her and goes to work. Adrienne frowns. - At the park, EJ is emphatic the damning video of his fiancée cannot get out. Abigail righteously argues Bernardi’s family would deserve the truth, though! EJ calmly states they already know the truth for Samantha shot him to protect Rafe. He sits down the doubtful girl and adds Samantha knew not who the person she shot was as his back was to her. She was set up! Besides, that was a mere argument with Bernardi. Chad agrees. He even thought it was funny. EJ snaps this is impotant. Abigail admits she does not want to make trouble for Sami. EJ ominously warns her she should not. She decides not to say anything and suddenly excuses herself. EJ stands up and rages at Chad for his spunky girlfriend. He had better take care of her! Chad now gets the call from Sonny, who solemnly summons him to his place to discuss an urgent matter. - Sami is happy to see brother Father Eric outside her cell. He is there for her and assures her the kids are being well looked after. He explains he has a quick trip but if she wants him to stay, he will. Sami puts on a brave face. She remembered something big! It was a razor Bernardi was holding over Rafe, not a knife as she originally thought! Eric thinks it sounds like she is changing her story. He believes her but a jury might not. She gets sarcastic. He insists he is of course on her side but believes it would be best if this did not go to trial. After all, she lied years ago under oath about Lucas hitting Will. Sami bitterly notes she was never perfect like him. Eric tries to make her feel better, then confesses he has a question. When she saw the guy with the weapon over Rafe, why did she not scream instead of shooting first? - Crazy Kristen tells herself the only way to make Marlena suffer is to destroy Eric the good son completely! She crushes the newspaper with his picture in her spidery hand. She now calls out to the butler to bring her car around, grabs her white designer handbag and is on her way to see the priest. Tonight is his night! After leaving the mansion, she spies harassed EJ at the town square. She stops the lawyer on the go to and thanks him for cleaning up the almost wedding mess at the house. She embraces him and gushes she cares a great deal for him, though it has not always seemed that way. Pause. EJ gets a strange feeling she is saying goodbye. - Cam is at the hospital, unpacking pharmaceutical samples. How coincidental when JJ drops by to visit! The teen focuses on the packages, then brings up Chad and Abigail. He claims loverboy Chad is bad news for his sweet sensitive sis and he is on Cam’s side! Cam appreciates it and continues to unpack the samples. There are many. JJ fakes a cough. Cam gets him water. JJ drinks up. Another doctor enters and needs a report on his patients. Cam explains to baffled JJ that this room is shared by many residents. Pretty in pink Abigail opens the door and looks surprised. She stammers she came to see Cameron, then leaves flustered. Cam goes after her. JJ now helps himself, stuffing the samples he intends to sell into his unassuming backpack. He has just finished when the previous doctor returns. JJ grins and innocently departs with the stash hidden in his backpack. - Sonny hands happy Will his daughter Ari and leaves them together, explaining he has to check up on something at the coffee house. Adrienne soon arrives and asks about the little beauty as Will holds and admires her. Sonny is not present. Adrienne admits she is actually here to speak with Will. Will appears surprised. - Chad arrives at Sonny’s place and Sonny shows him the video he had sent him. Sonny knows what this could do to Sami’s case. Chad gasps it could send her to jail for life. - Sami confesses she was not thinking, she just acted fast. Perhaps she should have done something different. Eric holds her hand through the bars and wishes he could defend her. Sami explains that is not necessary, for she has a lawyer. She suggests he get going to the capital. He does not want her to worry about his school issues and whispers to stay out of trouble for the next day or so. Sami sniffles and smiles she might even be out when he gets back. Eric hopes she is not withholding anything from the police. Sami flashes back to battling with Bernardi, then laughs of course she did! She then acts like she was joking and sends him on his way.
