Theresa enters the hospital to see Tate and Anne advises the baby mama to make the most of her assets since Brady is in there already. In tiny Tate's room, Brady informs Maggie he will not be dealing with Theresa directly ever. Maggie questions that ... Kegger party hearty Rory calls dude JJ to come on over. Things are hopping at the outdoor party. JJ pouts he only wants Paige and gets off the phone. Jen is sorry for her son but wants him to face reality ... At the pub, Paige has a favor to ask from colorful Kayla. She requests a reference letter for a high-paying night shift job at the yogurt shop. Kayla wishes she would reconsider remaining at the hospital for another position but Paige points out she might run into JJ the stalker since his family is always at the hospital, whether his mother or his sister. Kayla urges her to speak with someone. Petulant Paige states she has been speaking to some guys online but they are all the same. She seems bitter beyond her years ... Eve has succeeded in searching Laura Horton online, only to find out her doctor was none other than Marlena Evans so off to the hospital she goes ... Marlena is in her office, leaving another anxious voice mail for Eric, who has gone MIA ... Zander does not find Nicole and Eric anywhere. He rants and rages and Navidad convinces him to come upstairs. They will check where the fugitives can be found on Nicole's computer. The raging bull follows her ... Dan storms in past simpering Serena and confronts her about the elephant statue with the secret compartment ...Brady believes it is best his son not see how much he hates his mother. Outside the room, Theresa tells Madame Milbauer she messed up and Brady wants nothing to do with her. Anne has high hopes, however. Eve arrives to see Tate too and Theresa grows impatient. Anne intends to take her for some much needed fresh air. Eve gets snarky until she spies Marlena nearby. Then she coos thanks for looking after her little sis and waits for her moment ... Back at Horton house, JJ argues to Jen that she never gave up on Jack so why should he give up hoping with Paige ...? Jen starts to explain and JJ gets glum cos he gets the severity of what he did is worse than words could say. Jen gently tells her son she is on his side but it is up to Paige, who would never forget what he did with Eve. JJ hangs his head and thanks his mother for her support. Then he takes off ... Marlena calls Dan, frantic to find Eric. He assures her he is on it and gives Serena a cold hard stare. When the call is over she refuses to reveal anything and threatens to call security if he does not let her leave. He threatens to call the cops ... Eric whispers to Nicole it seems Zander is not aware this room exists. He suggests they wait a couple of hours until the coast is clear. She hopes he is right. Eric emotionally states he cannot bear the thought of her being harmed and holds her close. He surprises spooked Nicole with a heartfelt apology ... Eve enters Marlena's office and implores her to hear her out and then help recommend a therapist who can heal the wounds between her and her daughter. They used to be close, like Marlena and Belle. Marlena is not sure what to make of it but takes a look at her schedule. Eve pretends to have a fit of coughing, which sends the sympathetic soap heroine out to fetch her some water. Eve takes a seat and starts to snoop through the confidential patient records stored on her computer ... Nicole notes Eric saved her life so there is no need to be sorry. He updates her on dangerous Zander and Serena smuggling diamonds into the country via the elephant statue. Nicole already knew they were smuggling though she did not know they were diamonds ... Dan takes off to Eric's place and warns Serena he will say she did nothing to help him when Eric emerges. Serena grabs her purse and pursues him all the way to Eric's apartment door ... Serena insists she is on Eric's side. Dan soberly suggests she spill what she was using him to smuggle. He fears Nicole got in over her head along with his friend ... Theresa and Anne sit at the park with their creamy cool snacks. Madame Milbauer muses Mel is long gone so why so glum? Brady is a bone fide gold mine. Theresa cares not cos she is so stressed how she will be able to cope with Tate. She tells her self-appointed bff how unfair it is that Kristen stole him before she got the chance to know him. She is worried about how much to feed him, possibly dropping him, and everything else that comes with being the mother of a newborn. Unbeknownst to the two women, Brady is standing behind a tree, and he eavesdrops. What he hears makes him frown ... JJ is over the moon to see Paige at the square, until she calls him a stalker. As it turns out they are both there to apply for a yogurt position ... As Navidad works on Nicole's computer to find the full blueprints of the building, Zander makes mischief with the two phones he now has in his possession - one is Eric's, the other is Nicole's. He starts by smugly sending a text to Dan pretending to be Nicole ...Nicole explains she knew Zander was a cold blooded killer after she did some digging and had been playing him. Eric wishes she had been able to come to him but acknowledges he would not have believed her. He is filled with remorse ... Dan gets a faux text from Nicole about driving to Chicago. He wants her to wait. Zander laughs and leers and texts a hotel bar address. Dan is on his way! Serena has seen it too and goes after him ... Eric admits he has been a fool and apologizes for almost getting her killed. Nicole is in tears ... Theresa is in Tate's room singing the lad a lullaby. Brady walks in, wanting to talk. She snaps to speak to her lawyer and angrily leaves the room. Brady looks down at his little man and makes a dramatic decision ... ... Brady's decision ...! Paige hurls insults at JJ the liar and he lets HER have the job. He walks away and Bev appears with harsh words for her mistreatment of her old flame. Paige fumes and icily informs her he slept with her mother. Bev cannot conceal her shock ... JJ joins Rory at the outdoor party and proceeds to drown his sorrows in beer. He is almost back to making more bad choices ... Eric and Nicole are holding hands. She tenderly touches his face and tells him there is no need to apologize for being so trusting so caring. He gasps how sorry he is for the things he said and blames himself for her danger. She notes it is their danger. They are in this together ... Zander texts Marlena, pretending to be Eric needing some space. She is much relieved ... Eve has just found Laura Horton's details. Jen opens the door and catches her on Marlena's confidential computer. She demands to know what she is doing ... Navidad and Zander have seen the blueprints with the room and pinpoint the location of the two targets. He races back downstairs, gun drawn, Navidad and her gun behind him ... Nicole and Eric are feeling upbeat about the outcome ...until Zander claws at the doorknob, howling he knows they are there OPEN UP! Nicole hangs onto Eric as he braces to do battle with the enemy, knowing fully well that this could be the END! |
