Zanimal is hell bent on strangling Nicole to death and taunts her pretty eyes will pop out cos she played him. Nicole whimpers ... Will and Sonny are back at the apartment after their first couples session with the doctor that Will wanted. Sonny sighs he only spoke of the future instead of helping resolve the past problems. Will pretends to be more positive and then pretends to agree with Sonny. He wants them to work. Sonny leaves for the club without a single kiss. Will fumes and tosses a bottle across the room ... Chad obsesses over Abigail at the club. Ben sees him and steps out to search for her, deciding to use the tracking app. He discovers the damsel is at home ... Serena is at her place panicking that Eric could confront Zander and get hurt. Marlena arrives and demands to know why she is running away from Salem and where Eric is. The girl is in such an incoherent state that the concerned mother must eventually leave, still looking for Eric ... At the hospital Maggie smiles she is off to see Tate. Dan decides to call Nicole ... Ring ring goes Nicole's phone as she tries to save herself from Zanimal. She gasps there are cameras that will catch him in the act. He counters they have been turned off and claims her car is being moved. The madman hopes her ugly death will make him feel betta. She groans he is a murderer already and he gets even angrier, vowing to break her neck for lying about liking him ... Zoe sits with Chad bearing bad news. The Clyde story did not sell well. Chad is smug and sarcastic. He asks about the next stories she has in mind. She mentions an actress and a marriage therapist Will wants covered cos he is so amazing. Then she touches his hand and tells him they should finish at his place with cocktails. Sonny, now at the club, stares at the scene ... Abigail the hot mess cannot concentrate on the work email she has to send from home. She sighs in the Horton living room and opts not to work but to unburden her deepest thoughts on Chad to her interactive diary... Abigail's Confession ...! Once she is done unburdening her soul about a certain DiMera, Abigail tends to the tea kettle in the kitchen. Her laptop with the confession has been left open on the coffee table. Ben comes over and agrees to a green tea. As she gets it, he spies the open computer but is sidetracked by the sight of a photo album. He sits on the sofa and opens it ... Zanimal tightens the terrible wire around Nicole's slim neck. There is almost no breath left in her beautiful person until ... Eric leaps to the rescue and crashes heavy glass over Zanimal's horrible head. He falls to the floor in a heap. The wicked wire is gone and Nicole gets her breath back. Eric the soap hero assures her she is alright and strokes her head. Time to call the cops. Nicole gasps they must get out before he comes to and kills them both. Too late! The bad one is back on his feet. Eric gets in the first blows but Zanimal is driven by a deep demented rage that gives him superhuman strength. He proceeds to pound Eric to a pulp. Nicole grabs the trash can and clobbers him on the head. Then they make their great escape together, down to the basement, cell phones having fallen to the floor ... Dr. Dan has left Nicole a message and is now needed for a consult ... Back at the club, Chad feels flattered but turns Zoe down. She flirts her phone is always on and slinks away. Sonny takes a seat and states he knows what is eating Chad - he is still not over Abigail. That must be the reason he said no to seductive Zoe. Chad explains she is his employee. Sonny still tries to give his business partner a pep talk. Chad's eyes are filled with sorrow and he sighs he and Abigail can never be. It all sounds rather mysterious ...Marlena catches up with Dan at the hospital, still worried about Eric's whereabouts. She complains how strange Serena was. Dan suddenly recalls Eric's questions about her and heads out to see what he can get from the frantic female. Eric must be found ... Serena tries unsuccessfully to call Eric, who is busy running away from Zanimal. She fears the worst ... Zoe visits Will at home with news of the not so good ratings for his recent article. Will is not fussed about it. However, when she suggests they not do his marriage therapist's story, Will insists. Zoe thinks he can write it along with his own experiences. Will stammers he can do a spec but his name must not be mentioned. Zoe agrees and exits ... Abigail closes the computer and Ben teases there must be a secret on it. She teases she told her interactive diary he was hot and they kiss. Then she stops, stammering someone could come home. Ben is annoyed, until she assures him she is close to accepting his invitation to move in, once her mother and brother's drama has dissipated. Ben is over the moon when he departs and kisses her again. They have also exchanged I love yous. Abigail believes it is best this way,since Chad the cad does not love her but Ben does ... Eric and Nicole sneak through the basement together, He has lost his phone. They eventually reach the exit door ... Navidad comes to Zander's assistance at the office. She sits at Nicole's computer to check the security cameras she already hacked into and shows the boss where his two targets are ... Zander gets going with his gun ...Navidad follows, also armed ... Determined Dan stands at Serena's apartment demanding answers. She stammers Nicole did something and he demands she explain ... Eric and Nicole are dismayed to discover the fire exit is locked. Zanimal is already on the move in the basement and bellows he is on his way ... Wily Will calls his corrupt couples therapist he has promised to promote with an article in Sonix. He boasts the editor is on board. The gleeful doc promises to make certain Sonny comes around and they end up being another marriage he miraculously saved. Such is their deal, unbeknownst to Sonny ...Tormented Abigail tells herself she can never let Ben know she cheated with Chad ... Eric and Nicole sneak into a supply room and wait with bated breath behind some shelves. They stand together like a supercouple in peril, staring at the now closed door ... Zander grimaces like a gargoyle and starts to turn the doorknob, his gun in his other hand, ready for action ... THE END! |
