At the hospital, Theresa has stars in her eyes and hope in her heart when Brady announces things are going to change. However, he does not mean in her favor. A nurse walks in and Theresa insists he come to her apartment to continue their candid conversation ... At the Kiriakis mansion Victor the Greek is grim. Maggie wonders when they will reschedule the dinner party in Zander's honor. NEVER ... Nicole is in her office at the TV station, snooping for the details on Zander's sentence in Scotland for murder most foul. Zander calls her and tries to talk her into dinner tonight. She claims she has work to do as she has hit a dead end on some ... research. He ominously suggests she will get the job done, for she is like him. Nicole promises to let him know when she is done. He pretends he will wait to hear from her ...Dan gets home as happy as a clam about that kiss he shared with Nicole. He is expecting her soon for possible reconciliation talks. Eric arrives with an announcement and a request. The announcement is about Serena deceiving all of them, the request is to see the elephant so he can piece together the remaining puzzle of the mystery she has been hiding ... Serena is packed and ready to run away from Salem. Alone. Caroline arrives bearing home made macaroons. She spies the suitcase and Serena sadly states she is leaving town alas without Eric as they did not work out after all. Caroline is sorry and they share a goodbye embrace. As the matriarch departs dangerous Zander appears. He praises Eric as a good man. Once alone with Serena, he taunts her about losing Eric and threatens to do them harm if she does not keep her mouth shut. He yanks her hair when she taunts him back for letting Nicole get to him ... Nicole finds the documents website that contains the details she wants on Zander's case. But the Crown requires a password. Nicole makes a long distance call to Glasgow and manages to convince the Crown office she is working for the lawyer who defended Zan but cannot find the password they gave her. It is her first day on the job and she does not want to be fired. Despite her Scottish talk sounding irregular she gets what she wants ... Eric discusses with Dan the fact that there was something Serena wanted at the apartment. Eric asks for the elephant but will not share more with Dan just yet. He suspects something small was in that compartment and needs to think about it some more ... Zander has decided to tie up his loose ends in Salem. The sinister one has something in his briefcase with which to strangle someone. It would not be the first time he has used it... Nicole is dismayed to discover Zander's sentence was reduced due to a letter (and likely bribe)from Victor Kiriakis ... Victor advises Maggie to forget about his nephew. She points out Brady is bringing Tate home tomorrow. The Greek growls he has a bad feeling about that mother from hell sucking the life and money out of his grandson ... Once he has entered Theresa's apartment, Brady berates her for not being ready for Tate after all. She exclaims she has no space or staff and slyly suggests they live together under the same roof - at the Kiriakis mansion, as per his original offer. Brady coldly claims that will never happen and admits he hates her for making Mel go away. Theresa cringes. He angrily agrees they will share custody and he is willing to pay for whatever their son needs, including a nicer rental space but make no mistake. He wants NO contact with her except email, unless their son has an emergency. This he is doing for the sake of Tate, who would certainly sense how he hated his mother. Theresa lets out a cry as Brady storms out to see his son alone at the hospital ... Maggie sweetly suggests Victor let Brady fight his own battles, though she cannot help but admire how he always protects his own ... Nicole notes Victor must know exactly what Zan is like and gets an idea when Dan calls about their discussion date. They can meet at the kiriakis house so she can hand over a gift for baby Tate too ... Serena screams like a banshee assuming Zander is back knocking on her door. Eric gives her a cold stare. "Lover's quarrel?" She tries to deny it ... Victor is not initially impressed when Dan drops the bombshell to Maggie and hubby that he and Nicole are trying again. He then relents when Maggie gives the two men a moment alone. Victor also has something significant to tell Dan about his calculating cousin .... Zander's future ... Eric confronts Serena with the elephant statue he suspects was the reason she slept with him. He scowls the small compartment could hide the blood diamonds she and Zander were smuggling and demands the sordid details. Serena gasps if she told him he could die, so dangerous is this story ... Nicole is working late at the office. She will need to use the back exit as the front lights are out and the security guard left feeling ill. Unbeknownst to her, Navidad did Zander's bidding. Zander is already pacing like a wild animal ...Nicole freshens her lipstick holding her rose compact. Her nails are prettily painted. She is on her way to kill two birds with one stone tonight at the Kiriakis mansion. She plans to probe the Zander case with Victor and continue reconciliation talks with Dan. She opens the door but a black cloud blocks her path. Zander - and he looks more than a little bit dangerous ...! THE END! Ahead on Days: Kate and Justin just cannot agree. Hope and Aiden discuss client Clyde. Nicole is under siege! |
