At the club, Paige pouts and deletes texts from her phone. A blond playboy tries to pick her up, offering to buy her a drink. She tells him she is not even 21. He slyly suggests another kind of club. She turns down the "creep" and he creeps away, calling her a beech. Rory commends her for handling it well. New empowered Paige seems to want him to spread the news about what Eve and JJ did ... Eve is still at the park pondering how to use the mental problems of Jen's mother Laura against her ... At the hospital Jen gushes about Brady's baby. He gushes about taking Tate home today ... Theresa torments JJ about what he did with Eve, the fact that he lost Paige who now hates him. He calls her names and she cackles, calling him the same loser, whereas she has it all, now with her baby. JJ wonders how it feels to have a baby with someone who hates you. She believes Brady will come around, unlike poor Paige ... In the DiMera rose garden, Chad has overhead the fair Abigail on the phone replying to Ben that she loved him too. His eyes cloud over and she gets off the phone, realizing he must have overheard ... Eve seems to remember once upon a time when Frankie informed her that Jen was reluctant to marry, fearing she could inherit Laura's looniness. The woman in red gets a glint in her eye ... Abigail apologizes. Chad apologizes for making her wait. He leers he assumed she would make herself comfortable here like she did the other night. Abigail looks up at him in astonishment ... Back at the hospital Brady places a call and summons someone who will help ensure his son stays in Salem. Officially ... Eve mutters to herself some more about her enemy's mother. She jumps up when Paige appears and gets her hopes up. Perhaps she shouldn't ... Ben broods at the pub and then calls his da to download that app that would allow him to track Abigail, girl of secrets ... Abigail tries to recover from Chad's cad demeanor and announces she is here to let him know last night was a mistake that cannot happen again. Chad scowls about the s-e-x being all he wanted to prove to himself she wanted him still, after having had EJ. Abigail is aghast and gasps he said he loved her. He leers it was all part of his plan to get her back in his bed and praises her for being more adventurous than before. Perhaps EJ taught her some tricks. She begs him to stop and he brazenly blurts out the S word. S-L-U-T. Abigail slaps him across his handsome face hard ... Back at Horton house, unhappy JJ praises Jen for doing her best and blames himself for losing Paige forever ... Theresa gets to the hospital smiling as smug as a bug about taking her son home today. Brady awaits with his prim notary. Theresa is against signing any custody agreement without her lawyer. Brady and notary move her into a private room, where Brady agrees the agreement can come later. All he needs now is her signature to consent that baby Tate must live in Salem for the next year. Theresa considers and calls her own attorney, who approves. She signs on the dotted line as does Brady and the notary departs with the document. Once they are alone, the besotted girl gushes to Brady this can be their new beginning. Brady explains they have to get something straight ... Abigail cries how can Chad be so cruel?He drawls he is a DiMera and it is in his DNA. She runs away and Stefano stares at his son in horror. "What the hell do you think you arrrrrrre doing!" he thunders. Chad smirks ... Paige came not to reach out to Eve but to rip up the tuition check she gave her for Stanford and to say to stay away from her forever. Alone again, Eve obsesses over destroying Jen's happy little home the way she destroyed hers ... Chad mutters his father should mind his own business. The phoenix is furious he drove the fair Abigail away, likely to defy him ... Abigail heads to the pub and hugs Ben close, claiming she is upset over JJ's problems but big Ben knows better ... At the club Rory enjoys his ale but not the company cos JJ is decidedly down in the dumps. JJ soap stares when Paige slinks in and sits at the bar. The creep comes back and Rory waits for her to tell him off again, enjoying the Paige empower hour. She hisses at the hopeful older man he has no chance in hell. JJ jumps to her defense and orders him to get lost. Paige sarcastically thanks JJ for saving her from the clutches of a man old enough to be her father. It would have been too gross had they hooked up. Point taken. Prima dona Paige waltzes out. JJ pouts and goes back to Rory, who warns him the girl he used to know is long gone. And new empowered Paige even asked him to spread the word how he had slept with Eve. Rory is spooked by her behavior ... Jen heads to the square to mail her mother's birthday scarf. Eve spies her and starts to taunt her about JJ. Jen snaps to stay away from her son or she will destroy her. Eve watches her walk away, smug she does not suspect it is HER she intends to harm, not her son ...Chad refuses to allow his father to run his love life and walks away. Stefano grimaces. This is not going according to plan ... Abigail sits with Ben at the pub and pretends her last text that made a beep was from the phone company but she turns over her phone on the table. Ben tells her cousin Joey is in the kitchen so she steps away to say hello. Ben picks up her phone and proceeds to download the app ... Jen heads home and calls her mom to wish her a happy birthday ... Paige is in emotional torment in her room and then decides to do something. She starts typing on her computer, to hit back at those who hurt her ... Alone, Chad falls to his knees in the mansion, laments he DOES love Abigail, and hangs his head in deep sorrow ... Abigail returns to Ben smiling that Caroline told her how lucky she was to have someone like him. Her phone is back on the table the way she left it so she does not suspect a thing ... Brady looks Theresa in the eye and angrily informs her what to expect. Change ... Brady's angry annoucement ... THE END! |
