Episode 12,105 - Busy man Dan has Parker doing a puzzle in his room when the sitter arrives. He is running late with a busy day. She reads the paper and shows him the headline about the Sami shooting, noting Jen must be keeping busy too! At the hospital, PR Jen meets the press and tries to update the hungry, impatient group. Yes, the scandalous shooter was Samantha, the police commissioner’s daughter, a police detective was the victim. Anne gives a freelancer a nudge. He joins the group and accuses Jen of covering up cos her brother was married to the shooter. He smirks and goes on to say the hospital chief of staff is also connected to her. Jen gets testy and storms to her office for a meeting with the reporters, to set things straight. Anne wishes her luck with that. Ambitious Anne wants her freelancing friend to pressure her to step down and he realizes she wants her job all for herself! Dr. Dan appears at the hospital in time to hear Anne smugly talking on the phone about Jen getting what she deserves! Down in her office, the reporter in Anne’s corner talks cover-up. The others wonder. Dan arrives in time to hear Jen lecturing the press for questioning her personal integrity. That’s his girl! Jen now primly hands out quotes from the medical staff and a timeline of events. There will be another press release in time for the noon news. Exit the press. Anne glares from the doorway and soon disappears. Dan now joins Jen in her office and praises her as a lady in charge. He admits he was surprised when he saw the paper. She gets defensive about not contacting him. Jen is very busy and very stressed. Dr. Love thinks he knows just the place where she can get the peace and quiet she needs ... - JJ and his stoner buddy are at the house, thrilled they sold all their stash. Rory puts away the cash when Abigail comes downstairs, demanding to know why the teens are not at summer school today! JJ lies the teacher sent them home. He makes the introductions. Rory tries to be charming. His vocabulary is limited. Abigail doubts the teacher sent them home. JJ notes she seems to be calling him a liar! Sis gets sarcastic. He tells her not to embarrass him in front of his friend. Rory tries to be nice to Abigail. JJ calls him a jerk. Abigail calls them both jerks who should be in school. JJ dares her to call the school and ask. She will stay out of it instead and let them ignorantly blow their chances at a future. JJ is indignant. Abigail snaps who cares, he is not her problem. She now opens the door to Cameron. JJ and Rory leave to supposedly pick up some school supplies. Outside, JJ tells his pal not to ramble on like he is stoned in the future. Rory thinks Abigail is nice. He has a crush! JJ has other matters on his manipulative mind. They need a really big score. Rory suggests he rip of the Dr. Jonas dude. JJ considers his options. - John is seated at the town square café, grimacing at the newspaper in hand. He stands up with a scoff, only to run into Roman. He wonders what he can do to help in the Sami situation. Roman growls he can stay the hell away from doc! Matter of fact, he should pull a disappearing act for a while. John wants to help. Roman insists she is no longer his family or his concern and saunters off. John frowns. - Marlena is stylish in blue and black as she complains to Father Eric about poor Sami’s predicament. She worries about the kids. He points out they are fine with EJ. He decides to cancel his trip to stay and support his mom. She disagrees. The holy son gets her a glass of water and insists he should stay for her and Sami. Marlena assures him she will not fall apart. She is here for her daughter as a mother. The priest offers to cancel some patient appointments for her. She is grateful and admits she is very worried about Sami the daredevil. However, it gives her some comfort that he is here to take the lead. He is utterly indispensible! She tearfully hugs him as Roman arrives and observes in approval. - Trendy chipper Nicole visits Brady at the Kiriakis house as he stares at the morning paper. He shows her the headline and she quips that Sami did it again! She had no idea she had such good aim that she could actually kill someone. Brady paces and sighs this is bad. He must head to the jail to show her his support. He steps in the other room to get his wallet. Nicole concludes Eric must be a mess and takes off to console the holy hunky one. - Elegant and affluent Stefano has his continental luggage ready at the mansion when Kristen brings up the big news on Sami. She muses it reminds her that sometimes MURDER is the only solution to a problem! Suited Stefano stares darkly. She pours herself coffee from the silver pot and babbles about her nightmares. She is glib. He thinks she should not be cracking jokes but she claims she has moved on with plans. He grumbles what are those plans? She would rather discuss him and his suitcases, his mysterious destination. Silence. She asks if he made that phone call for her. The phoenix wonders if she really wants Him here. Yes. She does! Very well. HE is coming, though the phoenix does not approve. Kristen promises to pretend she did not see him leave the house and they part company. She is obsessed with her new scheme. - Inside Horton house, Cam sits with pretty Abigail in pink, who is frazzled, but happy to see him. He is pleasant about her going to the amusement park with Chad on this day. In fact, he really just came by to check up on her, given all that other stuff. What stuff? She finds out what happened and urges him to stay with her. She assumes Chad will cancel their date now but Cam claims that guy has an agenda and it is HER! - Meanwhile someone sinister is on his way to the DiMera mansion ...
