Abigail anxiously observes Chad and Zoe, who lets Chad know she knows he is using her to make Abigail jealous. He denies it and drawls they are ancient history. Zoe teases to keep telling himself that and slinks away in her sexy outfit. Chad goes after her ... Brady proudly holds his boy Tate in the nursery, noting he grew. The nanny agrees. Theresa angrily watches them with the door slightly ajar and decides to make her presence felt. Brady acts like she is intruding. Theresa innocently tells the nanny to help find her tablet. The nanny again explains she works for Tate, not her, nor is she her maid. Theresa lashes out and curses. Brady ushers the hothead mama out of the room for a talking to ... John, Abe and Theo have just arrived at the Salem summer picnic. Ben invites Theo to go swimming. The lad laments he wants to wait for Abigail and Chad ... Adrienne appears heartbroken at the club, here to see Sonny, who is not present. She texts him to meet and then runs into Lucas. They sit at a table with coffee and he wants to converse about what has her so unhappy. She sighs it is the divorce from Justin. She wants her sons to hear about it from her first. Lucas wonders about the future. It is hard and she sheds a tear, since there is such history. Lucas sighs he spoke of their future together. Alas Adrienne has no answers at this time ... Down by the lake, Will smiles a triumphant smile at the sight of Sonny seeing Paul and Derek having a good time together. The pair now chat about baseball. Paul notices Sonny and stops. Derek drawls so much for baseball ... Ben politely points out to little Theo that Abigail is on her way. He has no idea of Chad's whereabouts, however. John finds out Paul is at another spot and goes to greet his son, all smiles. Ben gets Theo thrilled about spinning in the inner tube ... Sonny is polite. Paul too. Jovial John arrives on scene and the introductions are made. Derek mentions a game of beach volleyball. Paul points out his shoulder has had enough of a workout. Will, who is still with Ari, pleasantly pushes Sonny to join in the beach volleyball game so Sonny goes with Derek. The mood is light. John is expected at Brady's place so Paul offers to walk him to his car. On the way, John talks of the tension he felt. Paul flashes a wide smile and assures him things are great ... As Sonny and Derek walk and talk, Derek apologizes for any trouble he may have caused by telling him Will was in Paul's room a while back. He had no idea he was his hubby at the time and sincerely hopes everything works out for them. Sonny assures him there are no hard feelings. Derek admires the fact that they are a family with a child ... Paul admits to John he had no idea Will and Sonny would be at the spot next to the tennis court. John the worried father now asks about Derek, who seems very friendly. He finds out he is a former bellboy and worriedly wonders how much his son knows about him. Paul is amused but appreciates the fatherly concern ... Zoe arrives at the picnic and takes off to catch up with a friend who has a new "boytoy." Chad appears a tad embarrassed. He and Ben act polite though Ben does point out their mutual dislike for one another. Abigail, now clad in her green bikini, overhears ... Brady lectures Theresa for trying to use Tate to get near him again. Theresa is incensed she is being treated like a second-class citizen. Brady the billionaire heir berates her for not even looking for another place and snaps to lay off the nice nanny. Theresa is petulant. He states they lead separate lives. She snaps FINE ... Paul has put his shirt back on and now asks John how things fare for him. John grins he means Marlena? Indeed. John roguishly replies things are gooooood between them and gets going to see the grandson. Paul returns to Will and Arianna now. He offers to watch her in case Will wants to join in the beach volleyball game. Will, however, wants to discuss Derek ... Theo and Abe are apparently speaking to his baseball coach. They soon return as does Zoe, who plants a kiss on Chad. Theo shows off Ben's waterproof watch he let him wear and asks to go tubing with Abigail and Chad. Ben grimaces ...Theresa storms back into the nursery to look for her tablet. She does not approve of the nanny trying to make her look bad. The nanny notes she does that all by herself. Theresa leaves in a huff though the sight of the brand new smoke detector has her somewhat distracted ... Lucas realizes it is too soon to discuss the future with Adrienne ...Paul patiently explains to Will that he and Derek are friends no more no less. Will insists he saw the chemistry. He presses Paul, who snaps he seems scared. He exclaims gays can have gay friends so why do he and Sonny have none?? ... Abigail and Zoe dry themselves off from the swim. Zoe notes Abi appears green. The girl suspects the tube spinning got her dizzy. Zoe goes for hotdogs. Abi gets even greener .... John arrives at the house of Kiriakis and enjoys a moment with Tate, Brady and the nice nanny. When Theresa tells the trio she found her tablet and is off to work they are disinterested. John gives her a dark stare. Theresa pauses outside the front door before departing, determined to come up with a plan to turn things in her favor ... Lucas tenderly takes Adrienne by the hand after she weeps he need not rush to any commitment with her just yet. Lucas woefully replies he is here for her regardless of how far they go ... Alone, John and Brady catch up. John points out they need more on Zander to bring him to justice, like someone close to him. Brady thinks that could be Serena. The talk turns to Paul planning to accept his new spokesman position. John is over the moon his other son might be settling in Salem ... Paul lectures Will for bringing Sonny to this spot just to see him with Derek. He warns his antics could cost him Sonny. Will snaps not to tell him about his relationship with Sonny. They go silent when Sonny and Derek return ... Zoe has a hotdog for everyone. Abigail feels ill ... At the hospital, Theresa unburdens her soul to Madame Milbauer. She wants to make herself look like a hero, like the best mom to scuttle the nanny! Anne advises her to just BE a good mom but Theresa has a scheme. She suspects the new smoke alarm is a nannycam so she could be spied on. When Anne wonders whether Victor put it there, she decides what to do next, to turn the tables on the nanny ... John admits he may have overstepped by asking Paul about his new friend Derek. Brady teases him for overstepping and assures him Paul will find the one he was meant to be with. Of that he is certain ... Abigail and Ben have gone home. Theo forgot to give him his watch back. Chad offers to do it. Zoe points out Abi is pretty solid with Ben ... Brady sees papa John to the door. John grimaces it is no good having Theresa in the house cos that girl is nothing but trouble. Brady knows. John urges him to get her out the sooner the better ...Will covers up and Paul leaves with Derek to get a bite to eat. Once they are alone, Sonny demands to know what went down. Will replies Paul overreacted when he asked about him seeing Derek. Sonny sighs Derek said they were friends only. He gets the call from Adrienne to meet him at the club before they can continue the conversation and must take off ... Will sighs to his sleeping daughter that this day did not turn out the way he wanted ... Ben and Abi are back at the bachelor apartment they call home. Chad drops by with the watch and Ben lets him in but not before Abigail the worried waif makes a major discovery ... Abigail's state! THE END! Ahead on Days: Lucas feels better. Abigail sure doesn't!
