- Out in the serene holy garden, Brady wonders whether Kristen has found someone new. She smiles a crooked smile and feigns indignance. She now flashes back to her sordid affair with drugged, unsuspecting Father Eric, who just happens to be Brady’s big brother. Back to reality. Noooo, she has not been with another man since their breakup. Brady explains he wants to start fresh and hopes she will confess if he found someone to take away the heartache. She coyly shrugs her shoulders for she has nothing to confess! They soon realize many reception guests are gathering outside. She notes her need to write a new check to the school. Together they depart, happy to be together again. Kristen has stars in her eyes.
- At Horton house, big sister Abigail accuses JJ of trying to avoid her.
She would like to know all about his stoner girlfriend! He acts ignorant about Theresa using drugs and then implores his sister not to squeal to their mother. Abigail wonders if he is worried he will lose his smoking up money. JJ pauses. He insists he just does not want to seem guilty by association, given that he once invited Theresa over. Abigail exclaims she is about 10 years older than he is! JJ innocently notes their mom freaked and if she found out the girl was a user, she would wrongly assume the same of him! Abigail is suspicious and starts to share what she found out about his friend Rory. JJ snaps he does not need another mother! He then apologizes for being mean. Abigail sighs he is good at that. She warns that if she finds out ...
- Jen is at her desk, admiring a picture of Dan the medicine man on her phone. Theresa appears in her orange summer dress. Jen is surprised she is not in HR now. The boss lady wants them to get to the press releases but Theresa, who does not seem to know her place, condescendingly offers to listen to her man troubles! She boasts she always gets men to
do what she wants. Men, not boys. Therefore, she is not interested in her son! Jen advises her to do her job and gives her some filing. She expects
it to be finished when she returns. Exit Jen.
- At the police station, the scene is chaotic. Sonny demands to know if it was really Adrienne who sold them out. Adrienne does not deny it. Will gasps about what she did to his mom’s case. She righteously states she
did what she had to. EJ steps forward and rages YOU FOOL! Justin intervenes. Voices are raised. Justin promises Sonny he will talk to
him soon, but for the time being he should leave. Exit Will and Sonny. Adrienne tries to creep out too but Justin stops her! Adrienne wants to explain. Justin advises her to hold her tongue until they are alone and ushers her out of there fast. EJ accuses Abe of enjoying the show. Abe growls how could he have been so stupid! EJ rages that video is only a
red herring. Besides, Bernardi was no innocent, he was on the take. Abe suggests EJ seems to be trying not to prove Bernardi was Stefano’s man. The commissioner seeks clarification. Why was Sami attacking Bernardi on the video? If he confides in him, Sami might have a chance. EJ stares. Abe notes his silence is telling. EJ asks him to keep his beloved safe,
make sure they know the cameras are working and know the guard. Everyone hates her. Abe solemnly corrects him. Not everyone! He elegantly exits.
- Justin and Adrienne throw accusations at the town gate. She accuses
him of covering up. He accuses her of deception and wants to know why she went to the police instead of coming to him. She exclaims she tried telling Sami but it did not work. She simply had to protect her family. Justin accuses her of railroading an innocent woman just to keep their son away from Will. Adrienne screams she wanted to keep their son out of prison, unlike him! Justin is floored. She shows him the official deal she made that grants Sonny immunity. She now realizes he was unaware of not only the video, but also the fact that Sonny was the one she got it from. His clients and his own son did not tell him the truth!
- Brent meets Chad at the pub with his trendy layout. Chad is not sure where business partner Sonny is and suggests they wait. Moments later Sonny and Will arrive. Sonny explains he cannot have this meeting now. Brent urges him to have a look at his layout. Will gets mad and snaps like he said, they are not doing it! He sighs his mom is in jail and apologizes. Sonny is sorry it is not a good time. Brent understands, tells Will he is sorry and hopes it will work out. Exit Brent. Will regrets being a jerk. Sonny is sympathetic. Chad wonders what happened. Sonny informs
him that the cops have the video of Sami and Bernardi and it is now evidence. Adrienne obtained a copy. Chad is stunned. He gets worried about the cops being onto them all and goes to warn Abigail. Sonny reminds stressed Will that they need to focus on what is important.
- Jen interrupts JJ and Abigail’s intense conversation at the house. She is working far from her new assistant to actually get something done! JJ must watch the news for his homework. Jen advises him to do so in the den upstairs. Sullen JJ climbs the stairs. Jen has sensed the tension and asks her daughter not to give her burdened brother a hard time. Abigail perceives her upset. She thinks it might be about a certain someone. Jen laments the new assistant is getting to her. JJ suddenly announces Sami Brady had been arrested for murder! Chad now calls Abigail and tells
her the cops have the video. She agrees to meet and informs Jen, who is already planning to check with Kayla at the hospital, that she must meet a friend. And so JJ ends up home alone. He scoffs thanks you to Sami and the Salem P.D. and saunters out.
- Kristen has taken Brady to the DiMera mansion, where they may speak privately today. He reminds her about that check for Eric. Kristen gets flustered when he sits right beside her and looks deeply into his eyes. He touches her face, then kisses her. She blinks and kisses him back. It gets passionate fast. Brady gasps this always works, though he did not come over for this reason. They have issues to figure out. She laughs and teases they can talk feelings in that case. Ring ring! Tis Marlena about Sami so Brady must answer. Kristen sighs and shakes her shaggy mane. Brady now decides he should go and say nothing for now, as things are up in the air with Sami. Ding dong! Kristen opens her door to Jen, who asks if she heard. Brady drawls they have both heard the news and were actually present when the cuffs were slapped on sister Sami. Jen wonders if she is interrupting something. Brady replies he was about to visit Sami and gently informs Kristen he will see her soon. After he departs, Jen gushes about her friend and Brady getting back together. Kristen admits they are exploring things and it all feels very high school. Jen gushes it is so great. Kristen thinks it is, provided he is not playing her!
- Adrienne complains to Justin that his clients Sami and EJ knew of the video but did not bother to tell him and it put Sonny at risk. Justin drawls the only person at risk is Sami, thanks to her, and coldly walks away.
- EJ catches up with Justin at the town square and talks strategy. When
he brings up Adrienne, Justin growls to never speak to his wife like that again. Furthermore, there is nothing he can do if he and Sami are not honest with him.He accuses him of taking a chance with Sami and Sonny so he would remain focused on the DiMera takeover case. He is OUT
and advises him to find another lawyer! EJ’s eyes darken.
- Chad leaves the pub to meet up with Abigail. Sonny gets a text from his father, who wants to meet right away. And so Will and Sonny head back to apartment 14, where Will looks down at the baby bassinet and picks
up a toy. Sonny suddenly confesses it was him! He just realized he was the one who sent Adrienne the video!
It was accidentally included with
his other videos of the baby. This is all his fault! Will assures him it matters not and hugs him. Justin arrives, demanding the full story. Will insists he and he alone is to blame. They were keeping their silence about the video for him so that he would not be sent to jail. Sonny is unable to stop him as he tells the true tale of Sami asking powerful Stefano to get the evidence against him, which she then tried to intercept from Bernardi, as the phoenix was planning to keep it. Justin needs to know the nature
of that evidence. Will comes clean about being the one who shot EJ all those years ago. He begs Justin to help him stop what is happening now. Justin finally understands why EJ and Sami withheld the video. Sami having a reason to be angry at Bernardi would give her a motive for murder. And Will would go down too. Will bravely insists he is ready to face the music for his crime.Sonny cannot believe his mom actually gave the video to the cops. Justin explains it was to protect Sonny, as she got him immunity from any obstruction of justice charges. Justin needs to know if anyone else knows about this. Sonny states only them! Will wonders if the legal eagle can still help get Sami out of jail. Justin sighs he is still thinking. He requests a dollar from each. This was all privy as they were consulting with their attorney. He urges the pair to tell no one else. Will hopes he will still help his mom. Justin replies one step at a time. Sonny thanks him. Exit Justin. Will now wonders why Sonny covered for Chad and Abigail. Sonny declares he ready and willing to take the blame as it is his fault and he is sorry. Will places a reassuring hand on his shoulder and wishes he would stop apologizing. Everything is going to
be fine! Sonny, however, appears doubtful.
- JJ joins Theresa at her office. She is busy buying shoes online. He cannot believe how cold she is about her cousin Sami being arrested. She quips why should she care about the family when they do not care about her! JJ can relate, as his family drives him crazy. She thinks he is lucky that they are not down on him. Is her whole family like that? She pouts and concedes at least Caroline is different. And her mom? She changes the subject to his family and calls his sister a bitch on wheels. JJ snaps to shut up cos she does not even know them! Things have not been perfect since papa Jack died. He gets glum and wishes it would get better. She poses on the desk and teases she knows how they can make it all better! Did he get her the coke? He stammers he made the call but it did not happen. Theresa seductively says to make another call cos she is ready
for a good time! So is he. She promises to show him a very good time if he makes good on it and wiggles out of the room. JJ's teenage hormones are hopeful.
- Chad meets Abigail at the park and updates her on the video situation. She must never admit to her involvement for it would be obstruction of justice! Abigail is not afraid. Chad is sorry for the mess and decides he is
a train wreck she could do without in her life! Abigail’s pretty face falls.
- Adrienne’s keys slip from her hand outside the grand Kiriakis front
door. She is alone. EJ silently appears and gives her a murderous look. Ominous music is heard. He asks how she is. She gasps fine and backs
up against the door, clutching her purse. He coolly wonders whether she feels safe, then turns and walks away. Adrienne fumbles for her keys and scurries into the house like a frightened rabbit.
- Back at DiMera mansion, Jen the romantic does not want Kristen to
ruin her second chance at love by questioning things to death. She must now go to deal with the Sami arrest. Kristen sighs. If only she lived in Jen’s silly little bubblegum world! Time to consider her options. She comes to the conclusion that she would not mind giving up her revenge
on Marlena if Brady wants her back for real. And if he is playing her, there is always plan A so this is win-win! Brace yourselves. Bristen are baaaaack ...
