Oops I did it again!

- Sami is officially under arrest! EJ places a supportive hand on her unhappy shoulder. He insists there was a mistake and puts his glasses
on to have a closer look at the warrant. Sami wonders what changed. Roman says his usual what da hell. Abe laments unfortunately, there is nothing they can do. Sami is charged with MURDER! The bishop hears Sami babbling about shooting the cop at the hospital and asks Eric if that is correct. Eric defiantly defends his twin’s actions. Roman demands to know where the warrant came from. The D.A steps up and warns the commissioner to proceed. Abe reads stunned Sami her rights as the cop slaps on the cuffs. Sonny shuts his eyes. Everyone is shocked, some unhappily, others a tad smug, like Victor Kiriakis, who has a tiny twinkle in his eye. Sami protests. EJ advises her to remain silent and elegantly steps away to call lawyer Justin. Roman assures her they are there for
her. The D.A. disagrees with the notion of the family showing up at the station. Hope, now in detective mode, asks Maggie to take Ciara home. Something must have happened! Will wants to step forward to help his mother but Sonny stops him, explaining Roman and EJ should handle
this. Sami loudly voices her dismay that this is being done at the church. She refuses to go until she says something. The cameras are still flashing. She stammers she will work this out and is sorry this happened here, on the important day of Father Eric, her twin. Sami implores the guests to focus on Eric making the school a reality. She gasps to him she is sorry and he should forget all about her. She is proud of him. Eric appears heartbroken as they cart his sister off, Roman and EJ in hot pursuit. Eric explains to the bishop he must attend to this family matter and suggests
to Marlena, Will (who is with Sonny), and Brady that they go to the station. Brady thinks that his brother should stay for the bishop’s mass. Roman gets off the phone with the mayor, who has ordered him away from the station. They should not charge in like Bernardi did not matter. Hope offers to go to the station and keep them all posted. An irate donor storms off after demanding the return of his donation. The bishop pulls Father Eric aside and suggests they keep on schedule lest anyone else leave. Eric realizes he is right and takes to the podium, to announce the beginning of the bishop’s mass. The faithful go in unison. Eric stays behind, starting numbly ahead. Nicole is sorry and asks how he is. He whispers he must go and disappears into the church. Nicole woefully raises her eyes to the heavens, at a loss.
- Sonny and Will have stepped into a classroom to confer. Sonny hopes the cops are just trying to show they are on the case. Will hopes so too. Roman and Marlena arrive in the same classroom and Roman warns the cops could have new evidence. That prosecutor is acting like she has something real now. Will gulps. How could that be! Roman admits he is speculating and departs with Marlena. Will worries it could be the video. Sonny points out they deleted it and Chad and Gabi would not talk. Will decides to call Gabi. He also insists on venturing to the station. Sonny is right behind him.
- Adrienne paces and gasps in her room at the station. Marge Bernardi is also brought in, having been called that there was something new on her husband. They are both waiting for the D.A. Marge complains the odds have always been in Sami’s favor. She just wants justice for Joe! She assumes Adrienne is on Sami’s side, given she is the wife of her lawyer. Adrienne holds her certificate of immunity for Sonny, her eyes filled with tears. The widow woefully tells how hard it is for her son. She sobs she cannot keep being strong for him. Adrienne holds her and consoles her.
- Sami is taken to the station, where lawyer Justin awaits, wanting some answers from the icy D.A. She is all business and claims she has her own questions. EJ wants clarification. She replies something has arisen and
she needs answers. It all sounds rather vague. She warns if Sami does not cooperate, she goes straight to jail! Abe stares. Sami wants to talk freely but Justin pulls her aside. Sami is confident that everything she said will hold up as the truth. The D.A. is smug about her cooperation. She goes over her statements. Justin smells a fishing expedition. Sami confidently repeats she did not know Bernardi. Hope, who is now present, confirms Sami also made the same statement to her. Justin wonders what the problem is. The D.A. is armed. She plays the video of Sami attacking Bernardi for all to see. Sami hangs her head. Justin is flabbergasted. He requests a moment with his client. The shocked group step away. The D.A. now makes a call and explains she wants both her guests to come in a few minutes. Justin asks Sami what is going on. She replies she was set up. Justin angrily lectures her for lying. EJ airily suggests they merely file
a motion and get the tape excluded. Justin, who is more experienced, points out he cannot as it was made in a public place and Sami therefore had no right to privacy. Why, this could end up on the news! Does she know what this means! Sami sighs she is screwed. Sonny and Will appear in the doorway and stare in horror at the video on the screen as the D.A. boasts she will surely have no problem getting an indictment for murder one!
- Nicole has just handed the monseigneur and sister their programs. They thank her and call her an angel. Kristen returns and Nicole complains
Sami has ruined Eric’s big day. She always thought the person to ruin an important day for the Bradys would be Kristen. Kristen does not deny it and walks off to fix her makeup. Nicole follows and wonders why she is even here. She was kicked off the church board and no one here likes
her! Therefore, she must have been up to something! Kristen innocently states she made a donation. Nicole demands to know what she was doing outside talking to Brady. Kristen flashes back to his dramatic declaration of love and sighs it is utterly absurd that Nicole is obsessing over their conversation at a trying time like this. Nicole is still upset about how
upset Eric was when the handcuffs were slapped on sister Sami. Kristen sarcastically muses she will be there for him, no doubt, and flounces off. Nicole blinks.
- Brady is back in the holy garden, leaving a message for lawyer EJ on
his phone, seeking an update on Sami’s predicament. Kristen appears, surprised he stayed behind. She now realizes the Brady clan is still at the church and notes he should be with them. Brady stops her from going. She explains she walked away earlier as what he said was not making sense. Brady wishes to continue so they can figure out where they stand. She sits and agrees to that. Brady cautiously sits near her and pours out his heart to the woman he loves. He emotionally shares how he felt betrayed by both her and his father. She understands. He adds after what his dad told him - that she was the one who stopped their lovemaking -
he wondered. Perhaps the plot had become something true on her part. Then he started to miss her. He murmurs she is probably missing him
too. Kristen gazes at him, feeling the pull, and then wonders if he is
setting her up. He quietly assures her he would not play out a twisted revenge fantasy in the house of God. Kristen sighs stranger things have happened. Brady swears his feelings are true. He cannot even consider moving on. Kristen diverts her gaze and he suddenly asks if she has moved on with another. She flashes back to her tryst with his drugged holy brother. Brady urges her to answer.
- Caroline, Maggie, and Victor accompany disappointed Ciara into the
pub for ice cream. The girl hopefully asks if people can marry in prison. Victor makes a snide remark about it happening. The redhead takes the girl for her ice cream treat. Victor now lets Caroline know how sorry he
is. Caroline is dismayed that Bo is not around. How could anyone believe Sami would stoop to murdering a cop! The Greek tycoon solemnly suggests she sit down. She hopes he does not believe she actually did it! Victor stares. He has no idea what Sami is capable of, for she is with EJ now, under the DiMera sphere of influence. He is worried about Justin and Sonny also being in that evil sphere. Justin is doing EJ’s bidding and he suspects Will is already sucking Sonny into the Sami fiasco. No good will come of it! Victor later informs Maggie that he let Caroline know Justin is working for EJ. He remains concerned that he was involved in the overthrow of Stefano the great and powerful. War seems imminent. Caroline, however, is just plain relieved that Sami has a good lawyer. Victor sighs.
- Back at the new school, Eric reappears. Nicole informs him that the reception is underway but he would rather not be there, as he has the Sami matter to attend to. Nicole insists he focus on the school. Eric patiently explains what happens to Sami feels like it happens to him, for they are twins! Nicole does not understand why he feels so connected,
so guilty. Eric laments he was too busy getting the school ready in time. He should have been the brother Sami needed. Nicole argues he could
not have stopped her from packing heat a la Ma Barker. She admits she cannot stand her and or how she tried to make herself look benevolent
by comparing herself to her priest brother. Eric snaps it is enough when she calls her a selfish bitch. Nicole insists that he is the victim, not his troublemaking sister. Eric is incensed. He reminds her his sister may not be perfect but now she is facing God knows what from the police. She is only making it worse! Nicole cries she cares about him. Sami’s actions hurt him! He says to stop, for they are done, and storms off, leaving Nicole alone in tears.
- The D.A. announces Sami will be a guest in her own cell tonight! EJ tries to console his fiancee. He plans to handle things the same way they did in the past and gives her a knowing look. Hope unhappily explains she must come with her. EJ hugs and kisses stressed Sami. Will now hugs her too and Sami cries it will be fine. Will agrees. Sami forces a brave smile and disappears with Hope. Sonny gives Will a reassuring pat. Justin stares silently. EJ sits down and hangs his head, at a loss.
- Hope walks Sami down to her cell. Sami muses it is her home away from home. She insists she did not murder Bernardi, and she did not see his face at least when she shot him. Hope promises to look out for her
and warns her to keep her head down in this place. She apologizes as she closes the cell door. Sami is alone now, staring out from behind bars.
- Back upstairs, Justin demands the D.A. enlighten him. Who gave her
this evidence! Enter Adrienne and the widow Bernardi. Justin and EJ observe. So do confused Will and Sonny. The D.A. pleasantly invites the widow to accompany her to the press conference and thanks Adrienne
for her help. Sonny steps forward. He gives his mother a stern look and asks if the D.A. meant SHE was the party who gave the damning video
to the authorities. EJ darkly watches, his arms folded. A frown creases Justin’s brow. Will stares. Adrienne cringes. And so she should ...!
