Eric is angrily placing art objects and other items into big boxes at his apartment. Marlena arrives and he solemnly states he is starting over ... Serena obsesses over her sorry situation all alone in her room ... Nicole flounces into Dan's place, pleased she feels like she now has a home and sneaks a peek at the drawer. Suited Dan appears, for he has arranged for a fancy lunch date. Nicole admires Parker's picture ... Sonny is devastated by his parents' divorce still. Will is with him in his office and tries to make him feel better. Sonny laments they loved each other, his parents did. Will points out people get divorced sometimes and it could even happen to them. Sonny is surprised by that statement ... Clyde is alone with his thoughts about Abigail hiding her pregnancy - until big Ben happens along, boasting how he set Chad up to purposely fall in their basketball game. Clyde realizes the boy has no clue his girl is having a baby but why her secrecy? ...Outside Rafe wonders why Hope is so concerned about Ben and his Clyde connection. Hope remembers Abigail ... Adorable Arianna listens to Chad pour out his heart about losing Grace and verbally agrees with everything his says. Abi turns to leave but Chad notices and speaks her name. She turns back, her doe eyes filled with torment ... Aiden kisses Hope and asks about her visit with Abigail. Hope freezes. Rafe smoothly brings up Ciara umpiring today ... Marlena assures Eric someone will come along. She understands he is upset over both Nicole and Serena's betrayal. Eric frowns. He cannot forget his moment of passion with Nicole but says nothing about it to his mother ... Abigail smiles sweetly at Arianna and explains she assumed Ben was here. Chad hopes she is alright ... Will explains to hubby Sonny that he was referring to the fact that he needs to work on himself. He praises Paul for taking his time with relationships since he has come out. Paul is taking things slowly. Sonny suddenly wonders whether Will wishes he had gone slowly and not gotten married ... Rafe offers to pick up Chase for the game. Aiden appreciates it, he will join them at the baseball game later ... Dan kisses Nicole and she teases him about the other secret she suspects he is hiding deep in his drawers ... (pun intended)... Eric remains uncommunicative and seemingly inconsolable, much to Marlena's chagrin ... Abigail apologizes for getting testy about Chad's concern. She is fine. He hands her her goddaughter and marvels she is like woman with child in a painting. Abigail heard what he said about baby Grace and tells him it was sweet ... Marlena opens Eric's door to Serena, who is now wearing a black dress to match her semi-state of mourning for the love she lost. Marlena gives her an icy reception. Eric assures his mother it is alright and she walks out ... The day Will and Sonny wed was the happiest day of Will's young life and he wants their marriage to last FOREVER. Sonny shares the sentiment though he wonders whether they rushed things. The pair clasp hands. Will believes they will get through the tough times together and come out stronger. Sonny agrees - day by day. Will smiles warmly ...Chad mumbles about making Abigail unhappy with his cruel words. But he could not let her know the truth. She wonders what truth ... Will soon arrives on scene at the park and thanks Chad for looking after his daughter. Chad gushes he enjoyed watching her and enjoyed watching her with her godmother even more ... Aiden kisses Hope and gets going. Hope thanks Rafe for covering for her. Rafe now asks his partner-against-crime what she was hiding about Abigail ... Chad gets back to the office at the club. Sonny has finished the books and is bewildered when he brings up Ben out of the blue. He suspects he really has Abi on the brain and advises him to act on his feelings. Alas Chad feels she would never want him after ... Chad's strange statement! Sonny wonders what he means. Chad continues to talk in circles ... Dan is with Nicole at the swanky restaurant. He starts to sweat and asks her to check out the bread. She does and is baffled by his strange behavior ... Will has dragged Abigail back to the apartment to talk. Arianna is in her bed. Will sensed something with Chad. Abigail has no intention of telling him if he is the father of her baby, however. Will thinks that is unfair. She even goes on to suggest if he is the father, she will flee Salem for Europe. Will suspects she is actually in love with the DiMera. Abigail overreacts and runs out ... Hope refuses to share a family matter with Rafe. He teases he knows her better than Aiden and she cannot pull the wool over his eyes. Hope snaps what is that supposed to mean. He means if Aiden knew her the way Rafe did he would be even crazier about her ... Clever Clyde continues to converse with himself about Abigail's secret pregnancy. He deduces Chad could be the daddy. No matter. He would still want Ben to hook up with the "ho" who stands to inherit valuable land in Ireland. Just a few more weeks until she can get a paternity test but he wants Ben to win ... Eric demands to know what Serena wants. She explains she came to return the art object he gave her when she had desired the elephant. Eric leers about her lies, the blood diamonds she was smuggling with Zander. She innocently wonders what he is doing with the big boxes. He rages he is getting rid of anything that reminds him of her and Africa ... Sonny is still unable to get a straight answer from Chad and what he meant by having to hurt the girl he obviously loves. Eric gets even angrier when Serena mentions Nicole. He thunders not to blame her and get out. He turns away and Serena slyly asks what really happened between them when they were locked together. Eric gets a wicked look in his eye ... Dan feels he has fumbled too much and decides to come clean. He opens the ring box and Nicole soap stares at the glittering ring. He asks her to marry him. Nicole lets out a happy little sound ... THE END! Ahead on Days: Paul gets closer to his clan. Paige has the wrong impression. A secret starts to unravel ... |
