Episode 12,127 - Brady and Kristen soap stare down by the lake in the heat. She asks why he is there, then emotionally realizes he found her fallen bracelet. He hands it over. Their hands touch the way lovers do. He starts to get dressed and Kristen muses this is too coincidental to be a coincidence. Brady admits he saw and heard her with Jen. Kris wonders whether he was following her. He seductively accuses her of setting the whole scenario up as she is familiar with his jogging route. Kristen feebly denies it. He sarcastically states to take at least some credit for the scheme. She gets upset. He get himself worked up into a frenzy and rages he is no longer her play thing. Kristen slaps him hard. He grabs her wrists and gets closer for an intense moment,, then releases her and gasps what does she want from him. Nothing. He begs to differ, given their illustrious history. She must want either closure or a quickie. Kristen mutters like he had Nicole. He quietly asks what she wants. It cannot be his love for she threw it in his face. He starts to storm off after deciding she would just lie again. Tormented Kristen stops him and sighs he is wrong. He does not know her as well as he thinks! Tormented Brady pauses. - Juvenile JJ is on the phone with Rory about hot Theresa when someone knocks on his door. He hopes it is the girl of his dreams. Instead there stands somber Abe, who seeks a man to man chat. JJ pretends to have remorse about his theft and assures him he gave the stuff back already and apologized. Abe asks about his mom and points out she is under pressure. JJ thinks he means her new job. Abe explains Jack was a good friend of his. JJ snaps he is dead and orders the commissioner out. The petulant young man walks away. Busy Abe gets a work call. JJ creeps back downstairs as Abe consults with his high school NARC abut lying low for the time being. JJ is no fool. He sheepishly apologizes in an effort to make nice and throw the head cop of his trail. He concedes he is down about his dad. Abe insists no one can replace him but he would like to be a friend to him and his mom. He reminds JJ he is the man of the family now and should be helping his mom. If he has problems or needs to talk, he can count on him. JJ agrees and decides to go study. Abe first brings up the criminal activity at the school. Jen appears, her hand on her hip, and wants to know what criminal activity! Abe gets interrupted by another call.. "What? Oh man, this never ends!" Exit the commissioner to deal with an unexplained police matter. Once alone with her son, Jen asks what Abe wanted to discuss with him. JJ grumbles it was about his lousy treatment of his mom. He is sorry. So is she for being tough on him and not giving him the benefit of the doubt. She is new to being a single parent. He assures her she is great. She suggests she spend more time with him and his sister and talks family dinners. They can order in and be together. JJ grudgingly agrees. Jen suggest they keep the lines of communication open. JJ forces a grin and plays along. Now Jen gets a text and sighs she must deal with some reporters at the hospital. Much to JJ’s chagrin, she reminds him he is still grounded and departs. JJ lounges on the couch and wonders what is next. The FBI? - Theresa is back at the office with the joints from JJ. It is dark and she thinks she is going to need more for the week. She picks up a file when Roman turns on the light and drawls just what is she doing here! She sarcastically states she works here and had to get a file. Roman was at the hospital to pick up a prescription for ma and dropped in to see Jen. He warns he will be checking up on Theresa too! She can count on it! He already heard about her run-in with the new lady boss and reminds her not to break the rules. She gets snarky about living up to the honorable Brady name. Roman advises her to think before she acts. She airily replies she worked it out with Jen and adds to Uncle Ro she will be fine. Roman is exasperated. Uncle Ro?! - At apartment 14, proud papa Will has just put baby Arianna to bed. He returns from her room and kisses Sonny. Sonny has to meet his mom, and Will suggests he go to a movie after. He can even take a friend like Brent. Sonny stares. Is he trying to get rid of him! Will cheerfully insists Sonny go out, if nothing else to meet his fav author, who is making an appearance. Sonny agrees and kisses him. - Sami meets Marlena at the coffeehouse. Mama Marlena is deeply concerned about Stefano and the DiMera war. Sami changes the subject to their own family and notes Marlena’s strain. She thinks it is about Adrienne. What did she do now? Marlena suggests she could be more supportive. Sami wants clarification. Marlena shares that according to Adrienne, Sonny getting involved with their family is unwise, particularly since her and John’s marriage is on the rocks. Sami snaps the woman is bipolar and she will not get away with it. Marlena points out Will is a good man and Sonny is lucky to have him. They know it to be true and that is all they really need! - Bored JJ opens the knocking door. Tis Theresa, who gives him a flirty look. "Surprise!" The manchild is intrigued. - At the pub, Adrienne is on the phone with Justin. She got a new battery for her iphone but still has to figure out how to work it so she can send Lucas the baby video as promised! She assures him she will try to be nice for the sake of their son. In fact, Sonny is on his way. She will see him soon. After the call, she tries to bring up the video but gets interrupted when the waiter hands her a menu. She puts the phone down, The Will and baby clip morphs into the Sami fighting Bernardi clip. Tick tock! Adrienne hands back the menu and now brings up the baby video. All of a sudden, she perceives Sami attacking Bernardi, the man she later shot dead. Adrienne gasps. She realizes Sonny accidentally put it on her phone with the baby video. That means he knew about the existence of this damning evidence all along! The pub door opens. Unsuspecting Sonny arrives with a greeting and a boyish grin. - At apartment 14, Marlena holds baby Ari as Sami asks Will about Sonny. Upon learning he is meeting Adrienne, Sami sighs she hates her. Will is optimistic about her getting over her latest issues. Sami smiles. She admires Ari until it is time to go home to her own kids, to tuck them into bed. She pauses at the door and tries to share Will’s optimism about Adrienne leaving Sonny and Will alone. Exit Sami. Will cradles the pink bundle and puts her down again, sleeping sleeping. Marlena notes things are good with the baby. She asks Will if he is good, for he seems rather bothered by something. Concerned, that is. Will admits he is concerned Sonny might be feeling trapped. He worries he is starting to feel bored and might want out! - Sonny asks his stressed mother what is the matter. Something called Sami Brady! Sonny snaps that is enough. She has not done anything. Adrienne exclaims yes she did! She loves her son, hence her concern. Sonny angrily advises her to extend her love to the man he loves and give his family the benefit of the doubt for a change. Adrienne stares down at the phone in her hand. - By the lake, Kristen woefully notes she chose Brady over her revenge in the end and that’s a fact. He was the one who threw her and her love away.
