It does not have to be like this ... She quips it does and asks where he is headed. To help Gabi with her homework. Mel wistfully suggests he tell her she says hi. Chad squeezes her hand and hopes to see her soon. Mel gushes. Abigail has spied the exchange and storms out. Mel races after her. She follows her out to the town square and insists it meant nothing. Abigail angrily disagrees, as she saw them holding hands. Mel argues they did not cheat. Abigail has heard enough. Mel insists that she is her best friend and points out she herself said she had feelings for another guy. She suddenly starts to cry that nothing will happen. Her friendship is too precious. Abigail coldly states it is too late and there is no going back. She betrayed her! Besides, they were never really friends. Mel promises she will stay away from Chad and fix this. - Madison and Brady are back from the spa. He is shirtless at her place and wants to make out. She needs a shower. So does he. They head to the shower together like a couple of teenagers. They later emerge and Madison gets on the telephone to touch base with work. Brady starts to seduce her and they get nekid again. - Gabi is thrilled to see Chad at the spa. He hands her some papers as promised and laments he pulled his shoulder. Gabi has just the thing and tells him to remove his shirt so she can apply something. She eyes him taking off his shirt and starts to suggestively massage his naked torso with some Countess W lotion. - Kate enters the spa with Sami, to go over their products there. They stop and watch Gabi massaging Chad, who gasps it feels great. Kate just wishes they could package that product response. She steps away for a word with manager Quinn. Sami watches and considers. Quinn praises how the women like the Countess W products. Kate is impressed he has the beautiful Gabi working there. Quinn offers the ladies a latte. They say thanks but no thanks. Sami grins she has a great idea! She points to pretty Gabi and calls her the next natural Countess W face. Kate thinks she is onto something. Gabi is a natural who already works in the beauty biz. They should include Chad and promote them together as the hottest new couple! However, she fears they will freeze up in front of the camera. Sami assures her she will take care of that! They now approach Chad and Gabi and ask them to help test some products. They both say no! Chad wants to avoid all things DiMera. Kate argues she is completely independent of Stefano. - At the condo, John hands Marlena a coffee and teases that breakfast is served. But he did not have time to make eggs Benedict, as he has much to go over with Brady. He is sorry he has not had enough time to focus on them. Marlena smiles she is happy he is back with his boy. He grins she is his happiness. "It's always been you!" He grabs her face and kisses her passionately. She is elated he has his life back. Brady leaving Titan to be with him speaks volumes. "That's a fact!" drawls John. - Back at the town square, Abigail repeats it is too late to make amends and walks away. Quinn approaches and tries to make Mel feel better. He offers to be her listening board to how she lost her guy and her best friend. Mel and Quinn take a seat on the town square sofa and she pours out her heart to him. He suggests she wait and try again. She, however, would rather not wait. She wants to have both the friend and the guy. Quinn is not so sure she can, says he is sorry, calls her love, and gets back to the spa. Mel sulks. - At the spa, Gabi explains she is worried that boss Quinn would not want her to do other stuff on his dime. Quinn enters and is all for it, but Chad remains reluctant. Kate and Sami claim it is just a favor. Gabi begs him to say yes. He does and she hugs him. She is excited! - Brady and Madison are now clothed and walking together outside. He wonders whether she will be accepting the top banana position at Titan. She cannot imagine who else could run Mad World, unless, of course, she cloned herself! She gets a text message from the university about hiring an intern and sighs she does not have enough time to think about even that. Brady kisses her and must get going, Eager Abigail, having overheard, approaches Madison about interning at her company. Madison asks about her. She lists her accomplishments and assures her she loves beauty and fashion. Madison suggests she send in her resume. Marlena appears and Madison smiles when she learns that Abigail is in fact Jen and Jack's daughter. Madison gets a call and must walk away for a moment. She comes back in time to hear the girl complain about her friend betraying her. Madison sighs she sure knows what that feels like. Marlena worries she means Sami. Madison claims she does! Marlena would like to know why indeed Sami left Mad World ... - Sami oversees a makeover of Gabi and Chad and introduces them to the photographer. They will start with before shots. The young pair are put together in their bathrobes. Gabi is having fun. Sami now wants the makeover done, and something done about Chad's hair! She then quietly confides to Gabi she is worried about Will. Gabi acknowledges he has not been himself and thinks the breakup is just taking him a while to get over. Sami hopes so. Makeover time! A song about DREAMS plays in the background. Once the Countess W makeovers are complete, Sami and Kate wish to consult with to the photographer about the shots they want. Gabi gushes about how fabulous Chad looks. He charmingly returns the compliment just as Mel walks in! Upon hearing the young people in black were asked to help test products, Mel puts on a brave face and praises them both. Sami and Kate now want to see if their heat translates more onto the camera and get them to pose. Mel stares as Kate instructs Gabi to unbutton Chad's shirt and place her hand on his chest. She does and they seem to enjoy the chemistry. Mel turns away, finding it unbearable to watch. For now ... - John opens the door to his new partner Brady. Brady reminds him their skyscraper will soon come! Today is the day they will decide what the cornerstone of the new Basic Black shall be. This will be the company vision ...
