| DAYS OF OUR LIVES SUMMARY Part 2 Tuesday, January 17, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! BIG PLANS - Part 2 - John lets Brady tell him his vision of the company first. Cosmetics are doing great, but he does not want to compete with his girlfriend. John understands and realizes he and Madison are tight. Brady proudly refers to her as his girlfriend, one who is real, and drawls she makes him happy. It could be for the long haul. He thinks this one is different! And she was the one who advised him to get close to his da. John greatly appreciates that. Brady loves that she accepts and does not want to change him. He jokes she is smarter than him, but they did have issues they worked out. He recalls how secrets and lies have ruined all his relationships. Thank goodness that will not happen with her! He has no idea that Madison was recently talking to her unseen, unheard mystery man on the phone, seeking his advice on what to do about Titan! - At the spa, Kate thanks Chad for his support and asks him for another favor. She emotionally implores him to stop by the mansion to talk to his father and tell him the latest The proud phoenix loves and misses him. And no one lives forever. It will make them both happy - of that she is certain. Meanwhile, Sami compliments sultry Gabi on how good she and Chad looked together. Gabi blushes. Quinn is also impressed. Chad approaches Mel and teases he is not ready to be Salem's next top model. Mel laments she tried once more to reason with Abigail, but without any success. She is torn that her best friend hates her. Chad is sorry, though is it not time she give up on making Abigail change her view of them as traitors? Mel wonders what they are supposed to do. Chad murmurs they should be together, like they were meant to be, from the start. Mel replies she is sorry, though she cannot. She hopes he is not mad at her. Chad is admittedly frustrated, as Abigail already clearly decided to move on ... Gabi interrupts and takes Chad aside for more pictures with the photographer. Mel promises they will talk later, though her eyes are filled with angst. - Madison explains Sami did not take it well when she was with Brady and refused to butt out. But what bothers her is that she went to work for Kate. Marlena admits she cannot see anything good coming of Sami and Kate working together. Madison quips she will have to live with the consequences of her actions. She leaves when her phone rings. Marlena asks bitter Abigail what if Mel was alone and not seeing Chad.Would she then feel better? Abigail doubts she would ever want to be close to either Chad or Abigail again. She is moving on. Marlena realizes she is. Abigail is very hopeful about interning for Mad World. Madison comes back and reminds her to send her resume. Abigail happily departs. Madison asks if Marlena can vouch for her. She can indeed! Madison nervously wonders how Brady is doing with his father. Are things as good as he believes? Marlena smiles they are indeed and notes she really does have Brady's best interest at heart. - Back at their meeting. John drawls Basic Black still means fashion to him. They could partner with Mad World in cosmetics to compliment their clothes, etc. Brady grins they will stick with what they know. The two men shake on it. And so a vision is born! - Meanwhile, back at the spa, Chad and Gabi get up close and personal at the photo shoot as Mel woefully watches.
