Episode 12,010 - After opening her door to Nicole, Kristen is overly friendly, as though oozing sarcasm from every insincere pore. Nicole calls her cupcake and notes this might not be a nice visit like she thinks! She is there to talk Brady and remarks he happens to be a fool with women. Kristen quips he was involved with Nicole too. Nicole snaps that she is nothing but a phony bitch. Kristen muses it takes one to know one! She airily pretends she did not want to come between Brady and his family. Nicole suggests she is merely using him to hit back at John and Marlena. Poor Brady must be suffering a case of self-induced amnesia. Kristen plays innocent. Nicole lists Kristen’s past transgressions, which Brady has told her all about. Kristen claims to be a different woman Nicole sarcastically doubts it. Kristen reminds her of her own mistakes and calls her the master of those. She lists her dangerous liaisons, including Victor Kiriakis, and admits she has a past too but at least she changed. Kristen now taunts her adversary for pretending her baby was killed by Jen. She used her unborn child! Nicole snaps and starts to strike her. Kristen grabs her arm and leers that was anther mistake. One should never raise one’s hand to a DiMera! Nicole is not afraid and glares daggers at the hellcat. Kristen warns she will let go of her arm but then she must leave, if she knows what is good for her. - Unreasonable Brady accuses Marlena of scare tactics and lists what has been done against him, at least in his view. The family wants him to fall in line only because Kristen makes him so happy. Ring ring! Tis Father Eric. He insists his brother return for they have another matter that needs settling. Brady bitterly departs. - Jen is at the hospital. She woefully informs chipper cousin Hope she has a lunch date with Dan shortly. Hope questions whether things are fine between them since his opera ex Chloe came back. Jen complains the she devil wants him back! Hope suspects there is something she is not telling her. Jen is exasperated Dan does not see women for what they really are, like Nicole. This time she would be a fool to underestimate Chloe. The timing of her return is convenient as Dan misses Mel and has regrets. He is ripe for someone to go after him for the sake of his son. Jen explains what happened to Chloe was unfair, though, so she gets why she wants Daniel back. Hope urges her to stop such talk and fight fire with fire. - Chloe argues her case to Dan about her and Parker moving in. Dan discreetly places Parker in his playpen to play with his blocks, then quietly reminds Chloe they are divorced and he loves the fair Jen. He does not need HER as a roommate. Chloe argues she was thinking only of Parker having a family and bats her baby blues. There was no ulterior motive! Dan wants to clear the air about them. Chloe fears he heard something. Dan did not but suspects he is missing something in her story. He s aware that she never reconciled with Phillip. Is there a part of her that longs to reconcile with him? Chloe does not deny it and keeps batting those baby blues. - Brady arrives at Eric’s office. The priest explains he needs a formal letter of resignation so he can find a replacement for the board. Brady bitterly points out DiMera and Titan will continue to support the church regardless. He refuses to fall apart and storms off. Eric pours himself a holy coffee as mama Marlena arrives and complains how very defensive Brady has become. Father Eric feels her pain. Marlena worries about Brady losing more, after Madison. Eric, however, is more concerned about what Brady’s mistakes are costing his mother. She confesses she has herself partially to blame. She tried to make them see what Kristen was all about and ended up losing John! - Nicole comments on not knowing what is good for her and shoves Kristen on the bed, ready to attack her with her black nail polished hands. Brady arrives just in the nick of time and unceremoniously pulls her off, out into the hall Nicole rages about the bitch. Brady threatens to cut her out of his life if she ever does such a thing again. It is not worth it! Brady insists they are all wrong about her! Kristen listens from her room and wonders what she is doing to the young buck. Brady growls to Nicole that he already disowned Eric and would do the same to her! Nicole argues she knows this is killing both him and Eric. Kristen cares not for him, she only cares for herself. Brady gasps she is wrong and returns to Kristen, where he refuses to hear anything spoken against Nicole. Kristen cradles the red roses he has brought her and hopes he is not going to defend Nicole! That woman attacked her! Brady sighs he has not been having a good day. His personal relationships have been strained because of it. Nicole, however, just lost her second baby so she should get over how she acted. He also suspects Kristen gave as good as she got. Kristen suddenly demands he keep his distance from Nicole. He teases she must be jealous. She loudly protests. He wonders why the jealousy. Kristen insists she is not jealous but Nicole is out of control. Brady reminds her he does not take orders. Nicole places the roses in a vase and claims to be concerned about him. Brady, however, has other things on his mind. She pretends to be upset that others are attempting to come between them. Brady drawls he has a company to run. So does she. She lets him have a card to her place and suggests he make himself comfortable if he gets there before she does. They agree to meet up for a love fest later. He kisses her, laughingly wonders just who will get on his case next, and exits. Kristen grabs her handbag and coat and also heads out. - Nicole listens at Father Eric’s open office door as Marlena confesses John felt she went too far with Kristen. That is all she will say. She needs to return to work. Eric offers to walk her out. Nicole shows herself and greets Marlena. Once alone, she muses Marlena seems to have given up the fight against Kristen. Time to call in reserves! Sometimes it takes a lie for the truth to come out! She opens the files of both Kristen and Brady, noting they are lovers and corporate competitors. She now sits down, humming, and searches Eric's well organized desk until she finds what she has been looking for - a flash drive ... - Hope wants Jen to plan her next move with Daniel, to thwart Chloe. Jen informs her that she and Dan will be lunching at the pub. Hope loves the pub but notes it is not romantic. How about a tete-a-tete? Jen talks sandwiches and cocoa at the park. Hope agrees it would work with steamy chocolate. “Go for it!” Jen adds she heard Chloe say she was taking Parker back to the mansion so she could even swing by Dan’s place and pick him up. She assumes he will be alone. Wrong! She also assumes she will gain the upper hand today. More wrong! - Back at Dan’s apartment, he and Chloe are taking a tangled trip down memory lane. Chloe recounts how unhappy she was after cheating with Phillip while they were married. He mutters he had sensed something was different. Chloe sighs she lost herself and that is how she lost him too. She cries as she remembers how blissfully happy they were in this very apartment. They would wake up together and it felt like home. The truth is she has not been with any other man since leaving Salem. Now she lives only to be a good mother to Parker. She thinks about what she lost every day and dramatically declares he does not even remember. He whispers he does indeed and concedes he too made his fair share of mistakes. He is now thrilled Parker is back in his life and has a strong, wonderful mother. However, they hurt each other too deeply to ever go back. In fact, he is not the man he was. Chloe can relate and sniffles she is glad he moved on and found someone. Dan alludes to Chloe finding someone to make her happy and adds he has errands to run. Chloe goes to wake Parker, but papa Dan thinks she should wait for the toddler to wake up on his own time. He asks her to kiss his son for him, notes it was nice talking, and heads to his lunch date with Jen. Chloe stares and then addresses her sleeping son. “Once upon a time your daddy loved your mommy so much and I promise you he will again!” - When stressed Eric returns to his office, secretary Nicole informs him she saw Brady’s letter of resignation. He sighs the situation is tearing his whole family apart. Nicole offers to handle the letter of resignation he would also need from Kristen. Eric agrees and goes to find some aspirin for his headache. He cannot imagine Nicole has something up her sleeve that involves major sinning ...! Read Part 2 of Trouble, plus Spoilers ...! |
