Episode 12,004 - At the town square with Chloe, Dan asks what he does not know about Kate, what the evil one did to her. Chloe accuses him of siding with Kate, who should not be anywhere near their son. She would surely school him in the ways of the dark side. Daniel argues Parker is in desperate need of stability. Chloe snaps is that all her fault? Dan sighs it is more his fault. However, Kate did make a good point. Chloe angrily disagrees. He senses there is something she is withholding and asks her to tell him. She starts to explain that … Family oriented Dan now asks her to wait as he has spotted Maggie in the distance. He excitedly takes Parker to say hello to grandma. Chloe, left alone, muses there might be a better way to play this situation. - Kate follows Jen into her office and repeats Chloe was a prostitute. Jen questions that, since she does despise the girl and might have invented the story. Kate insists that she has proof, the truth, and adds she loves poor Parker, who has been exposed to too much! Now that Phillip is out of the picture, as sole parent, Chloe calls all the shots. She urges Jen to protect the child. She does not want Parker to be shuffled off to foster care, yet Chloe has put her son in danger. Jen still has her doubts. Kate emotionally states she could not save her kids from Curtis the abuser, yet if she could help Parker … Jen retorts she should tell Daniel herself but Kate feels he would not believe her. Therefore, it is up to Jen to enlighten him. Or will she stand by and let Chloe destroy the ones she loves? Jen pauses. Kate suspects she is hesitating as she holds her responsible for the pain she felt in her own childhood. Jen calls that ancient history. She admits it did cross her mind that Kate did ply the same trade as what she is accusing Chloe of, however. Kate explains she was desperate for money to feed her child, whereas Chloe the sicko was lonely. Jen suggests she needed to provide for her son. Kate snaps she had other options but Chloe kept on hooking even when there was an attacker on the loose. That was how she came to be beaten and left for dead. Chloe has been lying to Dan from the start and is still lying. The man Jen loves deserves to know the truth! - Brady runs into Nicole at the pub. She notices his face and wonders about the other guy in the fight. Enter the John! Father and son exchange an intense gaze. John turns and exits. Brady sips his coffee and assures nervous Nicole it was no big deal. She disagrees. He notes Chloe is in town. She notes Parker is Daniel’s baby and forces a smile! Brady is sympathetic. Nicole babbles about her own dreams never coming true. She sighs Chloe deserves happiness and Daniel will be the best father so that is it. Brady gives her a tender look. She touches his face and urges him to take care of himself. Brady murmurs she should too, touches her face, and steps away. Nicole’s eyes mirror her sadness. - Marlena enters Kristen’s hotel room and a game gets underway. Kristen asks why talk now? Marlena concedes she has won yet again. She has come between her and John perhaps forever this time! Kristen pouts and states she has no idea what it means to her to hear that! Marlena suspects she has an idea. She calls her a person who gets pleasure from the pain of others and suggests she get done with the gloating so they can finally move on. Kristen pretends to pity the shrink, then touches and admires her broach. Knock knock! Tis Roman. The commissioner is aghast to find Marlena there. Doc blinks. Roman warns she is wasting her time trying to reason with Kristen, then asks about Will, who is not answering his calls. Marlena suggests he track him down for she is sure he would appreciate a chat. Roman gets she wants him to leave and does just that. Kristen taunts that the men in Marlena’s life always seem angry. Marlena reminds her she was about to make her victory speech. Kristen purrs nothing would make her happier than that. She suddenly becomes an over actress, melodramatically announcing she is so sorry, overcome, overwhelmed. She tried to fight her incredible pull to Brady but alas she was weak. No man has ever had such an effect on her! Marlena reminds her there was John and suggests she bedded Brady to get back at John for dumping her. Kristen notes they are alone and gets Marlena to all but admit she already knew they were involved and was relieved on some level that Brady in Kristen’s bed would keep John out of it! - Dan has left Parker with Maggie. Chloe holds up a little train he loves, which Kate gave him. It is his precious choochoo. Chloe adds that despite her dislike of Kate, she has done much for Parker. Dan wonders whether she is changing her mind. Chloe smile she trusts his judgment so Kate may see their son on occasion. She gushes Dan was always her better half and he takes the little train, after their hands momentarily touch. - Brady soon runs into Dan, who is carrying a bouquet of flowers. The medicine man brings up Kristen and is stunned to hear Brady say that Jen knew they were involved. This is the first he has heard of it! - Kate lists all the men whose lives and happy homes have been wrecked by Chloe. Jen reminds Kate she has done the same and snaps it is not her business to repeat third hand information from years ago. Kate argues Dan trusts her. Jen notes it is still not her place. Kate calls her naive. “Chloe is back in town! You don’t know what that means?” She points out Nicole’s dead baby was enough of a problem, just wait until she has to deal with Chloe and her living breathing one! She just wants Jen to keep her name out of this. Jen retorts that will not be a problem as she shall say nothing to Dan. Kate alludes to the fact that instead of giving her a heart, the good doctor should have transplanted a brain in her empty head. She had better cut Chloe off at the knees before it is too late! Jen scoffs. Chloe and Daniel have been apart for two years and he does not love her. Kate feels she should feel threatened, cos Chloe is a pro at lying and being a slut. She will knows how to push Daniel’s buttons. Matter of fact, men do not really want a nice girl … Jen huffs they are done and kicks her out. Kate warns her if something bad happens to Parker, she will have to live with herself. Jen sits down alone and looks at the picture of Dan and Parker on her phone. She stands up and storms out, her heels clicking with every step. - Chloe visits Nicole at the rectory, where her friend is trying on a nun’s habit, making silly jokes. Chloe laughs and boasts she just had the best morning with Daniel and Parker. They felt like a family. Nicole wonders if Jen was there. Chloe smugly states she got rid of her fast. Nicole folds the habit and quips that will not last. She does not appreciate that her friend is so insensitive of her feelings. Chloe does not understand. Nicole now refers to them both falling for the same guy yet again. “Did you sleep with him?” gasps Chloe. Nicole confirms it. Chloe calls her a bitch! She reminds Nicole she loved all the men of Salem but she knew Daniel was hers! Nicole reminds her she was busy with her johns and then went running after Phillip to Chicago. Chloe reminds her they share a child. Nicole is upset she would throw that in her face. T’was a low blow. She refuses to apologize for loving Daniel, who really deserves better than either of them! Chloe calls that mean. Nicole calls it true. She unhappily admits the truth is Daniel wants neither of them. He wants only the sweet and good Jennifer Horton. Chloe insists that Parker will bond her and Dan forever. Nicole thinks she is delusional. Chloe screams that Nicole was delusional and he loves HER! Nicole warns her he will toss her aside for Jen. Chloe snaps all the guys in town have used Nicole and tossed her aside like trash! Nicole looks ready to cry. - Kristen sweetly says she wishes Marlena could move on. Marlena thinks she is unbelievable. Kristen laments she is not accepting her olive branch. Marlena decides it was a mistake to come and starts to leave. At the door, Kristen holds up a note she hastily scribbled. I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! Marlena stares. Kristen waves it until she is gone, then starts to tear it up. - At the town square, Brady explains to dumbfounded Daniel that Jen was just respecting his and Kristen’s wishes by not repeating their secret. Jen now arrives out of breath. Brady excuses himself and leaves the pair alone. - Billie joins Kate at the pub. Kate gleefully shares that by this afternoon, she believes Daniel will know exactly who Chloe Lane really is! Nicole comes in and overhears Kate boasting that Dan is probably learning Chloe’s sordid secret as they speak. Billie has her doubts. Kate insists hurricane Chloe will blow out of town soon!
