Jen does not deny it. - Brady walks past the town gate with a bouquet of flowers. John stands nearby and asks if they could get a coffee and talk. Brady bitterly claims he does not have time so he should just say whatever. John explains he knows how he is feeling. Kristen is funny, smart, and has a talent for making people think the way she wants … Brady growls he is no sucker. John murmurs neither is he, but Kristen is not good for anyone. And if he stays with her, there will be more than bruises. Brady is not listening. John implores him to see the light. Brady snaps not to call him his son if he cannot accept them. John refuses to ever accept them and warns there will be pain he cannot imagine if … Hot head Brady exclaims to shut up, implies they are done, and saunters off, his head in the fog. John’s noble eyes are filled with tears. Brady knocks on Kristen’s door. She opens and accepts the beautiful flowers. He enters and she worries if he is alright. He draws he is better now and kisses her passionately. Meanwhile the torn note to Marlena remains partially on the floor, partially in the waste paper basket. Marlena arrives at the coffee house and places a call to Hope. She leaves a message that it was a disaster. Enter John. He spies the mini recording device Marlena has left on the counter and picks it up, wondering what this is all about. He now presses play and hears Kristen accusing her of wanting Brady to be in her bed so as to keep her out of John’s. Marlena turns around and stares in horror. HR bitch Anne is at the nurse’s station, complaining about Jen’s schedule, which will make her stay later. Chloe arrives and Anne snaps she will have to cancel their get together. Chloe trashes the Horton too and suggests they put their heads together to make the situation better for everyone! Anne is interested. Dan understands that Jen was keeping a friend’s confidence. She hopes he does not think she was keeping secrets. He does not and reminds her she can confide in him about anything.He suddenly notices her long face. Jen admits there is something really important that he needs to know. Kristen goes in the other room to get undressed. Brady sits down, then sees the torn note scattered on the floor and in the garbage. He picks up the pieces and places them together until ... I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING it reads. Kristen emerges in a sexy red and black number. Brady frowns. Chloe returns to Nicole at the rectory and apologizes for overreacting. Nicole does not think she really means it, yet it matters not. She heard something that showed Kate is the reason Chloe will never get a chance with Daniel again. Chloe appears to panic. Daniel wonders what is the matter. Jen quietly admits it is about Parker, his son. Dan is all ears ... Next on Days of Our Lives Jennifer does not tell Daniel! John has bad news for doc. He is leaving Salem. Out of character alert! |
