Episode 12,017 - Kristen pretends she assumes Brady wishes to wed in secret but he says no way. The timing would be off for his reconciliation with his family. Besides, he is done being secretive. He reminds her he loves her and everyone knows it. Once his family absorbs it, they will move forward. If they were to wed, he would want the whole family there to celebrate their love. - At the rectory, Nicole asks Eric if there is a patron saint to balance the budget. The mood is light. Enter Detective Hope and she cuts to the chase. She is on a mission to interrogate Nicole about Titan espionage and theft! Eric defends her from the charges. Nicole is indignant. Father Eric points out Nicole is no longer affiliated with Titan. Hope tells him of the files being stolen from Brady’s laptop and therefore wants to know where she was that night. Nicole accuses her of harassment. Hope points out this was not her idea. Someone filed a complaint and she inherited the case. Nicole rages that hussy Kristen must have put Brady up to it! - At the pub, Gabi coos over the pretty pink baby outfit from Julie and is moved. Glamorous Julie approves of her for Nick as he has been through much. She starts to gossip about his mysterious stabbing in prison. Gabi realizes that is what his scar was from and wonders what happened. Julie quietly informs her it remains a mystery, as Nick refuses to reveal any of the details. Nick suddenly appears and growls at Julie not to say another word! She is sorry. Nick insists that is the past and over and done so he would rather not get into it. He sniffles and admires the baby outfit. Gabi feels his pain and hugs him. - Will watches through the window as Sonny works at the coffee house. He looks down at the key in his hand, flashes back to Sonny giving it to him, and numbly enters. Sonny looks up. They soon have coffee and Sonny agrees to sit with him to talk. He wonders what it is about. Will slides the key to his apartment over the table as he now believes there is no reason for him to keep it. Sonny nods, though he appears rather shaken. He notes Will seems to think he has moved out, but he left his watch. Will smiles he left it there for him. He now has a request. He was hoping they could be friends. Sonny looks down. - Sami wants to talk to Rafe at the park. He replies everything has already been said between them. Sami starts to explain that she and EJ … Rafe loses his cool. He knows what she and EJ did and would rather not hear the details! “You slept with EJ,” he accuses. Sami retorts they talked and he told her how they could handle the situation better. Rafe is disgusted, for he is well aware she got rid of the kids for the whole night. He knows she is lying and says to go to hell! Sami snaps what she and EJ do is not his business. He berates her for bouncing from him to EJ. She calls him jealous. He claims not to care, not after how she treated his sister. He now believes he fell in love with a woman who does not even exist. The real Sami makes him sick and he wants to erase every memory he ever had with her! Sami thinks that is harsh but he reminds her she was cruel to a pregnant girl. Sami suspects he is playing games but raging Rafe is not finished. He leers about all the bull he put up with from her for so long. Sami suddenly snaps she did have sex with EJ and it was the best night of her life! - Eric calls Brady and asks him to meet him at the station shortly. Brady finds it all rather vague but agrees. When he informs Kristen, she laughs perhaps the good father dipped into the collection plate. Brady chuckles, kisses her, and makes for the station. Marriage minded Kristen remains obsessed with ideas on how to get him to propose. - Eric and Nicole are down at the station together. She is roaring mad. He intends to put in a good word for her but notes she cut off Hope and is acting too outraged when she threatens to sue the department. It makes her appear guilty. Baffled Brady arrives and Nicole snaps he and his sea witch set her up! Brady insists he did not turn her in. Nicole still thinks Kristen was responsible. - Meanwhile, wannabe bride Kristen is on a long distance phone call. She complains to Stefano that Brady will not budge on the wedding issue. Father phoenix has lost his patience and thunders this feels like old times, when she got caught up in her emotions and did not give a second thought to things blowing up in her face. Kristen vows she will get what she wants no matter what and ends the call. - Kristen now heads to the police station and denies calling the cops on Nicole, though she had considered legal action, but only if Brady would have agreed to it. Nicole doubts it. Hope storms back and concludes Nicole has practically admitted guilt. Father Eric places his arm around his loyal secretary and argues she does not deserve to go back to prison. Brady asks if Kristen is alright with not pressing charges. She muses Nicole is Brady’s friend and thus decides not to press any charges. Hope explains that does not change things, as someone else reported the crime. Nicole wonders who. Victor saunters in with a gleeful grin. “That would be me!” He sits down. “Does anyone want some candy?” He brought some and offers it to Nicole. She calls him a sob. He drawls no one likes a sore loser and updates Detective Hope on his tech team finding out Brady the fool’s files were downloaded when Nicole was in the house. Nicole is miffed. Eric ushers her out when Hope asks for some privacy. Kristen cackles about what she must have done to get on the Greek tycoon’s bad side. Hope now gives Ciara’s immature grandpa a piece of her mind. Victor laughs he will not press charges. He was merely taunting Nicole. Hope reminds him he was wasting her precious time but cannot help but be amused - until he brings up Bo ... - Julie is sympathetic when she learns that Sami has been giving Gabi a hard time. She thinks it is wonderful the baby will have three loving parents. She gushes to call if they need anything, hugs them, and departs. Nick admires the pink ballet outfit and marvels their baby girl will wear it one day. Gabi tries to bring up what happened when he was stabbed. He explains he had not mentioned it as he did not want to give her stress. Gabi presses. Nick flashes back to the inmate leering he knew what happened to snitches, followed by Nick being stabbed from behind. He stares. His hands begin to shake uncontrollably. Gabi notices and is sorry. She holds his hands. He gasps he only wants to think of her and the baby. Gabi assures him she is here and tough if he wants to share things. Nick understands. However, there were things that happened in that place. He had to get through them and then chose to put them out of his mind. It was the only way to survive. - Sonny assures Will they will always be friends. He is here if he ever needs to talk. Sonny adds he cares about him. Will cares too and wants him to be happy even if it is not with him. Sonny remembers embracing him once upon a time when they exchanged I love yous. Back to reality. Sonny starts to say maybe … Will interrupts. Sonny asks if he really just wants to be friends. Will claims he does and proudly shows him the baby picture. He will be very busy with her. Sonny smiles she has his nose. Will admits he is thrilled about being a father. Sonny now tells him as a friend to proceed cautiously with Nick and Gabi, for he does not trust them! - Rafe gets back to the issue of Sami's endless lying, including her past indiscretion with EJ. She points out she was grief stricken. Rafe sarcastically says poor you and repeats they are done. That having been said … Unfortunately, they must still deal with each other because of the baby. As long as she is civil with Gabi, they will be fine. Sami agrees that will not be a problem so long as Gabi respects Will’s rights. Rafe talks visitation. Sami insists Will has custody rights too and mentions shared custody. Rafe cannot believe she would put the child thru a custody battle. Sami hopes Gabi will do the right thing but if not, she will be the one who begs to see her daughter! Rafe laughs she is the mother so that will never happen. Sami argues she is marrying a felon and has likely committed crimes of her own so what judge would not award Will full custody! Before she storms off, Rafe warns if she causes trouble for his sister, he will come after her. He talks attempted murder. She leers his sister is marrying someone who was convicted of murder. Rafe mutters to go to hell and walks off. - Back at the coffee house, Will feels there are no problems anymore with Nick and Gabi. She even gave him the baby’s photograph. Sonny suggests they might be playing him. Will remarks Sonny knew something about her … Sonny will only share that she is not sweet and innocent, not to mention that she and her boyfriend pressured Will to give up his baby to them. Will suddenly blurts out that he gave up the baby for SONNY! Sonny is stunned ... - Nicole, Eric, Brady, and Kristen reach the town square together. Kristen suggests she walk with Nicole to the church, to clear the air, and leaves the two brothers to do the same. Eric thanks him for not pressing charges. Brady points out Kristen did the same. Eric appreciates that. Brady, however, thinks things will not be good between them as long as he is with Kristen, the woman he loves. - At the rectory, Kristen suggests a truce. That way she will not destroy Nicole and they will be civil, perhaps even friends one day. Nicole is amused when Kristen points out they have much in common. Kristen now teases Nicole for being off her game whenever Father Hunky is around. Forbidden fruit! Nicole's eyes flicker ... Read Part 2 of Desire and Deception + Spoilers ...! |
