Episode 12,027 - Working girl Sami is at her office, clad in her Valentine hot pink dress and white cardigan with pink buttons to match. Will arrives, having been summoned. He teases her about her engagement, assuming he is getting an update. Sami sighs she was mistaken and felt like a fool. Will sure can relate but would rather not talk Sonny. Sami now asks about the paternity test results and snaps when she hears Gabi has not yet done that test! She is convinced she could be playing games until she puts Nick’s name on the baby’s birth certificate. Will does not seem to be in the mood for any more drama … - Working girl Gabi hands Cam his takeout at the pub and asks him about getting a paternity test. Cam wonders why she would need one. So does Julie, who has just arrived! Julie glances from Gabi to the handsome man, back to Gabi. Is she not sure that Will is the father?? Gabi assures her she is and introduces her to Dr. Cam. Dr. Cam offers to discuss this further outside …Gabi promises to call and schedule. Exit Cam. Julie is dismayed that Gabi actually wants a paternity test for it could be dangerous to the baby! Gabi sighs it was actually Will who requested it. Julie grumbles it sounds more like the work of one Sami Brady! Gabi declares she will talk to Cam but if there are any risks … Julie warns her Sami will not back down. She admits Sami is a lot like her! Gabi complains Sami almost seems to want her and Will to become enemies. Julie reminds the girl she has Nick and all the other Hortons (well, most of them) and hugs her. Everything will be just fine! Gabi walks off. Julie mutters she will see to it! - Abigail drops off some dessert for Cam at the hospital, having missed him. The nurse babbles about their discussion of the golden circle club. Abigail is horrified when she hears she enlightened him on the virginal meaning of said club. - At the town square, Jen is about to approach Dan and Parker when Abe and Theo walk by and Abe stops to talk fund raiser. Jen is all for it, compliments Theo’s hat, and they go on their merry way to get the hungry lad some food. Chloe now steps before Jen and announces they need to talk! She would like to clear up any confusion but Jen does not believe a word of it. She knows Chloe is calculating and says so. Chloe now purposely drops her bag of sexy lingerie and calls Jen insecure. Jen retorts she is not insecure. Plus she knows what Chloe wants and she is not gonna get it! Chloe gives her a defiant, sultry look. - Stylish Nicole has arranged to meet old buddy Rafe at the coffee house, to say goodbye, She is leaving Salem! Rafe is not happy to hear it. He suggests she get a new apartment in town instead of fleeing, then asks if it is due to Daniel. Negative. Rafe the cop now wants to know what this mysterious reason is, then deduces it must be Eric! Nicole overreacts. Rafe muses he had noticed the tension. She claims she just needs a break. Rafe sighs he is going to miss her. She smiles he is one of the few. They burst out laughing. Rafe gets serious and repeats he will miss her. She teases not to let Sami hear him. It would be the wrong thing to say to her. Rafe laments everything about that one is wrong. She is with EJ now but he does not give a damn about that woman. Nicole doubts it! Rafe continues to protest. He does not care Sami is with EJ. Nicole teases him about going on a bender because of it, then stands to go. He insists she call before she leave town. She will and they share a friendly hug. He senses she might not really want to go. She stammers but she must and exits. - Meanwhile, Father Eric is staring into a loaded gun. “Bless me father, for I have sinned,” leers the drug addict shakily holding the weapon. He orders the priest to stand up and open the collection safe. Father Eric patiently offers to help him. More drugs are not the answer. The drug addict curses and slugs him, Eric falls. He then opens the safe and gets the collection cash, still trying to talk some sense into the addict. He explains his addiction is a disease and these things get worse and worse without help. The addict starts to unravel and snaps to quit stalling or else! - Abigail solemnly enters the pub and asks Gabi if she has seen Cameron. He was there earlier but not now. Gabi perceives her friend is upset. Abigail is not sure whether or not she should be. Gabi gets an update on the virgin club, the fact that Abigail is still a virgin, and Cameron knows! Gabi points out that he might admire her for it, find it charming. Abigail, however, fears he could consider her a freak of nature! - Will advises Sami to stop causing problems and being bossy. He and Gabi and Nick will all get along. Sami relents. At least she seems to. Will promises they will consult with a doctor to make sure there are no risks. Sami insists it is only a blood test. Here comes Julie and she tells Sami dear they need to talk! Will tries to skedaddle, but Julie wants him to hear this too. She insists a paternity test could prove to be dangerous and is unnecessary so she needs to drop it. Sami sarcastically notes Gabi must have sent her to do her bidding. - Jen calls Chloe a desperate and needy woman using desperate measures. Chloe tries to play innocent. Jen accuses her of being underhanded. Chloe sternly reminds her she and Daniel conceived a child out of love and she brought him to him. Jen suggests she is in a delusional fog. Chloe suggests she is paranoid. Jen argues she is self-protective. Chloe claims to admire that, as she is a good mother. Jen admires her as a mother too, but not her efforts to try and deceive Dan into her life. Chloe exclaims she wants her son to spend as much time as possible with his father. He deserves that much, as any child would. Jen insists she is really after Dan. Chloe implies Jen is drab and sweet and nice girls finish last. Jen muses Chloe actually thinks she will win. She wishes Dan saw her for who she really was! Chloe says the same of her. Jen warns many people in Salem see through Chloe. She is a manipulator and Daniel will wise up. Chloe smugly states she is still the mother of his child so she will never be far away. Furthermore, Daniel just loves her in a skimpy number and even better in nothing at all! Jen sighs she is pathetic. - Eric offers to pray for the junky as he hands him the cash. The junky spits and starts to leave … until Nicole walks in! Eric exclaims no when he grabs her, still holding the gun in his strung out hand, his eyes crazy red. Terrified Nicole cannot move. - Dan is picking up toys at the house of Kiriakis as Parker naps nearby. Maggie points out they are already taking measures to make the abode green friendly and suggests Chloe purposely provoked Victor. Dan insists he loves Jen but … Maggie explains she slipped up. Dan just wishes she would have apologized. Maggie quips she actually did. And she even sent a message. Did he not get it? Dan is perplexed. Mama Maggie updates him on the note he never got, the fact that Jen went to speak with him in person. Dan realizes that must have been when she found Chloe at his place. Meanwhile, he was at her place to apologize and things all went to hell. He now gets a text from Jen and becomes hopeful. Maggie teases not to mess it up this time. - Julie reminds Sami that she takes orders from no one! Sami suspects Gabi manipulated her. Will snaps she is not the one to accuse anyone of being manipulative! Besides, this is about HIS life. Julie agrees and hopes his mother will not stir things up. Will makes a snide remark. He goes on to ask Sami not to do anything that makes things worse. She agrees to back off. Julie and Will are grateful. Julie gushes everything will be fine, tells Will she is proud of him, and departs. Will is truly sorry if he hurt her feelings. Sami can take it and then suggests he stick around and chat. There are snacks in the kitchen and she could use a protein bar. Will goes to fetch one, Sami now picks up her phone, tells her secretary she is going out, and leaves in a hurry. - Eric emotionally implores the addict to let the hostage go. The addict tightens his hold around her neck and wildly demands her jewelry. Nicole protests, then drops it all on the desk, except for her mother’s necklace. The junky shouts to hand it over or die! Eric’s eyes flicker. He begs her to comply. She will not part with the last memento she has of her mother. - Chloe has a visitor at Dan’s simple apartment - HR Anne, who cackles the place is cozy. Chloe laments she wanted cozy for mommy, daddy, and baby, but alas Daniel moved into a hotel. Anne is not surprised her latest idea was a bust.Chloe complains she also lost it with Jen. She might have overplayed her hand, too. - In the cozy Horton living room, Dan admits to the fair Jen that he was a bit of a jerk. Jen claims she was not exactly innocent. Dan is doing his darnedest to be sensitive. Maggie shared with him that she left a message for him, which he never got! Then she ran into Chloe at his apartment. He had planned to tell her about that situation and wanted to apologize, but things got messed up. He stammers she was right and being a guy, he hates that, hence his reaction. Jen teases him for all the talking.She smiles they should go back to where they were. Dan is mighty relieved and sits by her on the comfy couch. She is sorry she lied but she had enough of Chloe. He understands. Jen is sorry she jumped all over him. He chuckles she gave what she got. They are glad to be talking. Daniel adds he had wanted to talk only in person. They decide that is enough talking. Jen grins they should kiss and make up. And so they do! For a while anyway. A very short while ... - Sami confronts pregnant working Gabi at the pub and accuses her of using Julie to do her dirty work. Will enters and tries to stop her. Sami rages on and wants to know why she is hesitant about the paternity test. Gabi notes Julie said it would hurt the baby. Sami exclaims they should go to a doctor right now to find out. Rafe saunters in, looks from stressed Gabi to pushy Sami and demands to know what the hell she thinks she is doing now! - The addict demands the necklace from Nicole and calls her a bitch. The gun is pressed against the back of her neck. Meanwhile Eric inches closer and tries to resolve the situation peacefully... The junky points his gun at protesting Eric and warns him to stay back. Nicole stomps on his foot. Eric seizes the opening and slugs him. He places his priestly arms around Nicole and asks if she is okay. The junky grabs the big wooden cross and whacks it over the priest, who falls to the floor unconscious. The creep collects the cash. Nicole rushes to Eric’s side. He is not moving …!
