Episode 12,026 - Outside, Brady suggests he and Kristen live together and she pouts no! This will not work! Brady assumed she would jump at the idea but she laments he was wrong. He now fears she might have meant THEY would not work. Kristen starts to say this is not easy … Brady now gets a call from a distributor. She insists he take the Titan call and explains she needs time to formulate anyway. Brady agrees to go for now. They will catch up later. She pulls away when he tries to kiss her. Brrr! - Marlena is at the coffee house when she gets a call from John (unseen, unheard) His connection dies as soon as she asks where in the world he presently is. EJ sits at her table and grins he would like to know what John thinks of his and Samantha’s reconciliation. She is happy to tell him what SHE thinks. He smirks he already knows and is ready to tackle it head on. He is already aware how she feels about him and Samantha and argues the fair Samantha feels differently. He points out Brady is also about to become part of his family. Marlena warns him he has the wrong girl if he thinks she will take it. And neither will John! Suited EJ reasons Brady and John are not speaking. Is she willing to risk the same with Samantha? Marlena snaps not to break her daughter’s heart and walks out. - At the rectory, Nicole has just admitted to Father Eric that she is still not over one man but it is not Lucas! Eric thinks he knows who. It must be hard to face the changes when there is something you want badly. He whispers he believes she is too much of a life force to invest in something that no longer exists. He assures her she will get over …. Daniel! Nicole agrees. Eric adds he himself finds the presence of God comforting. She assumes he wants her to pray. He realizes she might not want to hear it. Nicole notes he is still not seeing into her soul for if he did, he would realize that was the best thing to tell her right now! She is not sure how to proceed. He murmurs to say what is in her heart. She can practice here first … Hope now enters, interrupting the almost moment. She has been appointed department liaison for community outreach. She is there to schedule kids field trips. Nicole reminds Eric that is her area and he reluctantly goes. Hope gives Nicole a judgmental look and Nicole deduces she does not believe she belongs here. - At Dan’s door, Jen scoffs Chloe is slipping cos she is not all wet in a towel this time. Chloe explains Victor threw her out. She rubs in that Dan did not bother to tell Jen he had invited her to move in with him. Are they not close??? Jen dismisses the implication. Chloe talks unpacking. Jen muses she does always have baggage wherever she goes. Chloe gloats Dan can help her settle in all night long and shuts the door. Jen sighs and presses the elevator button. - Dan is leaving the Horton house, having closed the door for hot head Lucas, who just took off. Abigail arrives and wonders if he is doing this to her mom again. They go back inside and she praises the photos that Mel sent her of Parker. He knows she is seeking clarification on what this means to him and her mom. Abigail does not deny it. Her frazzled recently widowed mom survived Nicole but here we go again! Dan confesses this is tough to talk about. She senses his sincerity, but points out her mom is unhappy about Chloe and he is not doing anything about it, like with Nicole. If her mom gets hurt again, she will make him sorry! Jen arrives and stares at the scene. Abigail discreetly excuses herself to do homework. Jen informs Dan she already knows about him asking Chloe to move into his apartment! Dan tries to calm her down. Jen exclaims it is getting more absurd by the minute. Dan assures her he will not be living there and already booked a hotel until she is gone. “Okay,” gasps Jen. He acknowledges Chloe will pose a problem, but not for them. Jen remains miffed he did not discuss this with her. Then there is the fact that he did not ask her how she felt about it first. He suspects she does not trust him enough and says so! Jen retorts this is about him trying to do the right thing for everyone. The result of that is Chloe now walking all over them! He is too trusting. Dan sarcastically shouts maybe he is a moron who cannot even deal with women, just like she thinks. Jen denies saying that. Dan decides they are done and storms out. - Now at the pub, EJ is less than thrilled to run into Brady and explains he has already bumped into enough of his bloody family membas. Brady is unable to hide his foul mood.“Bite me!” EJ jokes that his sister actually considers him a good catch. - Back at the town gate, Kristen kicks a can and berates herself for not just ending things. John picks up the can and drawls littering is against the law! How long has he been there? Long enough! He calls her the big loser again, cos she will wind up with nothing! Kristen takes a swing at him but alas the image vanishes. Along comes Marlena. “You look upset. Goody!” - Chloe opens the door to Maggie, who is there to see her about what transpired earlier with Victor. Chloe claims she is sorry she could not say goodbye but Victor did not give her enough time. Maggie offers to speak with him and asks her to come back. Chloe refuses as Victor hates her. Maggie knows what she is up to and says so. She is here just for Daniel and she is not kidding anyone!That was why she pushed Victor’s buttons. But here it is different. Chloe claims she is not that clever and plays her poor little single mom me card. She thinks Maggie is afraid Daniel will dump her niece for her, as she bore witness to the intense thing they once shared! The redhead advises her not to unpack cos this might not even last. She slams the door after herself. Chloe smiles sometimes lightening strikes twice ... - At the rectory, hoarse Hope refers to what happened with Kristen, then adds that one pushes people’s buttons. Nicole insists she does not want to trouble Eric much longer and she is considering leaving. The piety and humility are getting to her. Hope suspects she might be doing it to get away from Eric, but she will not be able to escape him! - Father Eric joins Brady at the pub as EJ leaves. Brady muses he once beat the hell out of that guy and put him in intensive care. Eric wonders if that is a confession. No, it was about pride! - Kristen claims all she cares is that Marlena is all alone and unhappy. Marlena notes she is sweating. She adds John called her and they are going to work things out. She taunts that Brady will get her number. Maybe he already has. Kristen disagrees. Marlena warns her that her dumb luck will not last … Ring ring! Marlena gushes that would be her husband and walks off to take the call. Kristen fumes. - Dan returns to his little man, who is playing on the couch with mommy. She remembers when they brought him home here for the first time. Dan is polite, though he does not engage in Chloe’s attempted trip down memory lane. He informs her that he booked a hotel room and needs to pack. She insists there are enough rooms and tries to talk him out of it. He is more concerned with what is appropriate, then gets a call from mama Maggie, who wants to talk privately. Dan asks for privacy so Chloe takes her son to the other room. Almost … - Hope will schedule the next trip for the kids … Nicole wonders what she meant before. Hope explains Eric will not walk away from her until she is on her feet again. And when he gets that look on his face … “The way he looks at you, he‘s not giving up on you!” Exit Hope. Nicole sighs and curses, then realizes she is right. She cannot try and get involved with another man she cannot be with! It is too painful … - Suave John is checking in with doc from Italy. For real. She is glad to hear from him and tells him that Kristen seemed rattled. He is dismayed to hear she is still with Brady, however. Marlena implores him to come home soon but he coolly drawls he will be in Europe for a while. He must now go to a meeting. Marlena requests a number where she can reach him but alas he has ended the call. - Eric invites Brady to have lunch and talk to him. He will buy. He is just thanking him for not pressing charges against Nicole. Brady hopes she will not do something like that again. He now wonders whether he was the one who got Nicole worked up enough to take action against Kristen. Eric does not want to argue. Brady wishes he could at least admit he was wrong about Kristen. He will not. Brady decides he will not stay for that lunch and angrily insists he knows Kristen better than any of them! - Kristen storms into her room and beats on the bed with a pillow, hating Marlena, She was about to cut him loose and do the right thing! She now rages she will not forget he too is her enemy and father says to keep enemies close. She will destroy her baby Brady after all and smashes his picture. He is on his way over in person ... Brady later opens Kristen’s door and says hi. They have both been thinking. Brady starts to say he might have caught her off guard … She smiles a crooked smile that he had her at hello. He is surprised by her about face as it seems she has changed her mind about living with him, though his addict eyes are filled with hope. She pretends she merely lost control of her feelings when her pride was hurt by his reluctance to wed. She forgot how crazy being in love makes a person. He is relieved to hear that she still loves him. She now agrees to make it happen, to live with him. Bewitched Brady is over the moon and they fall onto the bed kissing. - Chloe listens as Dan answers Maggie that yes, he saw Jennifer today. He would rather speak in person and informs her he will bring Parker by too. He summons Chloe to update her. He will swing by Maggie’s with Parker. Chloe plays along and smiles she has some errands of her own. - Jen is in tears at the house. Abigail wonders why. Jen admits she took out her frustrations about Chloe on Daniel. He was there to make things right and she made things more wrong! She needs to think of a way to fix it. Abigail wants to go pick up a dress she saw at Pricilla’s. Jen offers to do it for her, to give herself time to reflect … - Stylish Nicole is walking past the pub when she runs into Sydney and her babysitter. She calls her pretty as ever. The sitter explains they are on their way to a play date. Nicole asks for a hug and calls her the most wonderful little girl. Syd smiles she is squeezing her too tight. Nicole admits she does that with those she loves too much. Sydney and the sitter scurry off. EJ emerges, having witnessed the tender scene, and flashes a smile ...
