Only a small ray of light streams in. Father Eric listens to a confession from Nicole, who whispers she is going to sin. She joins him and gets hot and heavy with him right there in the confessional, kissing him with wild abandon after ripping off his white collar. He returns her kisses with equal ardor. But Nicole now snaps out of that daydream, opening her door to none other than Eric! She pretends she is coming down with a cold to get rid of him and sits at her desk. No luck. He wants to talk about her mysterious frustration and sits across from her at the desk. She claims to be having a bad day and gasps she must go. She will see him later. She walks out and pauses at the door, her eyes filled with holy torment. Then she goes. Eric is not sure what to make of it. - At the town square, Nick vows he will protect the baby. Rafe reminds him his prison record could be Gabi’s biggest liability. He retorts it is not fair cos HE did his time. Rafe claims to know what happened to him in prison. Nick flashes back to an angry bearded inmate threatening him from behind, warning him what happened to snitches. Nick suddenly jumps up and dismisses Rafe, noting that a lot of things happen in prison. Rafe has heard how he was attacked and suggests he tell Gabi cos that is a lot of baggage. Kate points out marriage is a big step and there is so much going on. Nick gets defensive and insists he and Gabi already had their plans. Kate wants him to be careful. Nick snaps they want him to give up Gabi. They deny it. Kate asks him to take things slowly. Rafe notes they just mean waiting a while longer until they wed. Nick realizes they want them to wait until after the baby has been born. He growls he promised Gabi a great life so no way, and walks off. - Jen is sitting at the town square gate, leaving an unhappy message for Maggie about needing to discuss Daniel. Lucas comes up behind her and sternly suspects that guy went and broke her heart again! Jen claims it was all her fault. Lucas continues. Jen wishes he would stop. Lucas will not and points out he saw Chloe and knows she wants him to be her man, now that Parker is his son. That guy has trouble keeping it zipped! Jen is appalled and has heard quite enough. Lucas will see her at the house later. She says not to bother. He adds he has to get something form the attic and strolls on his way. Jen is exasperated. “Ugh!” she exclaims. Nicole comes around the corner and gives her a look. - Dan is cleaning up the mess at his place, explaining to Chloe on the phone that Parker is napping. She wants to come over for a visit, as she misses him during her teaching days and his days with him. Dan agrees and asks her to keep it short. The doorbell rings and he opens it to Brady, who bears a gift for his son. Meanwhile, back at the house of Kiriakis, Chloe alludes to the fact that she will not keep her visit short. Victor appears behind her and makes a face. She sees him and quips they must talk. He sarcastically states she answered his prayers by showing up in Salem. She retorts she has something serious to say and accuses him of practically poisoning her son with the cleaners used in the house! “What the hell!” snaps Victor. She points out there are no green products, not to mention there is a lack of childproof latches. In addition, there are toxins everywhere. The Greek tycoon growls he is looking at one now. Chloe starts to scream about the chemicals on his dry cleaning. Until he and Maggie change dry cleaning companies, she forbids them to pick up Parker. Victor gets testy and reminds her she is in his house. She quips if she decides to stay, then concessions must be made. Victor storms off with a sigh. - Fully dressed Kristen perches on her bed, the phone to her ear, and tells father that is nice, her voice pained and strained. Stefano, who has just eaten another fine meal in Europa, grumbles she sounds less than thrilled about his impending return. He suspects she feels it is too soon for her. She sighs she is distracted and rethinking many things! She toys with one of the red roses Brady got her and suggests she does not really need to break Brady’s heart. Stefano wonders what is happening. She confesses one cannot always predict. The phoenix chuckles she must have fallen for the target. She denies it. He warns her to stop playing games with him. Kristen pretends there is no point in proceeding unless John is present to witness things. Stefano thinks nothing should be stopping her now. - Back at Dan’s apartment, he reluctantly tells Brady that he and Jennifer talked, that’s all. He eventually admits that there is indeed an issue Jen is hesitant to acknowledge. Brady reminds him this is not high school so he simply must to talk to her about said issue. - Nicole notices Jen’s long face and realizes she did not take her advice on Chloe. Jen would rather not discuss. Nicole explains her problem is that she is too nice. People take advantage of good girls. Jen exclaims she took her advice and it backfired cos she lied! She tells her the whole story and how it all went to hell. Nicole wonders if Daniel flipped. Jen laments his son was sick and he could not reach him because of her. However, he and Chloe are not together. Nicole knows she loves Daniel, and even had feelings for him when she was back with Jack. She woefully wonders how she could walk away from a man she cared about so deeply. Jen considers. Not an easy question to answer. However, her love for Jack was different as he was her family, the father of her kids, and he worked hard to return. That made Daniel pull back. Jen explains going back to Jack and leaving Daniel was tough but it was right for her family. Sometimes one must do the hard thing. She wistfully excuses her sad self. Nicole cries that explanation makes sense. - Chloe haughtily hands Victor a list of what must be done, including an exorbitant vacuuming fee. He gets testy, then quips they shall review. She has put strain and stain on his family from the start. She accuses him of cutting her down. He gets madder and gives her a tongue lashing for accusing Phillip of rape, then getting Brady on drugs. Chloe trashes them both. That is more than the mighty Greek tycoon can bear. He explodes and kicks her out of his house effective immediately! Once alone, Chloe smugly smiles. Where shall she go now?! - Dan puts Parker on his leather couch to build a block tower and starts to make a call. Loud knocking brings him to the door. Chloe walks in with her bags, complaining Victor tossed her out and she is homeless! All she did was ask him to child proof the house. Dan offers to talk to him. Chloe notes it is the wrong time of the month to get a place and a motel would be undesirable and costly. Daniel plays right into her hands by offering his place until she gets one of her own. But first he must go take care of some things. He will be back soon and high fives little Parker. Chloe gushes to her angel this was purrfect and so easy. Little does she know … Out in the hall, Dan is calling to get a room elsewhere for a couple of weeks - for himself only! - Victor has a fat check for the church. Father Eric is most grateful, also for his leniency toward Nicole. Victor pours himself a drink, uses a few choice words, and warns him Nicole will never be a normal human being! Eric stares. - Rafe notes at least Nick really seems to care about his sister. Diva Kate thinks it seems desperate, like he fears he will lose her. Rafe thinks she loves him too and he might see that in time. Kate smiles and he wonders what is on her mind. She muses they ended up in the same corner. She decides to go speak with Will. Rafe is not sure that would be a good idea as Sami would notice and she is not in a rational frame of mind. Kate now decides to get back to work. Rafe drawls he has to return to the station. They give each other the eye … - Nick is back in his room, listening to the recording on his computer of Will confessing he shot EJ and papa Lucas went to prison for him. Nick stares into the darkness and numbly notes he now has what he needs to get everything he wants! - At the rectory, Lucas is searching for Father Eric, but is dismayed to find unfriendly Nicole in the office. He throws a fit as he was not supposed to have to deal with her. Nicole is insulted he seems to think he is better than her. - Kate and Rafe are nekid in bed as they slowly make love in the light of day … - Jen visits with Maggie and complains that Dan has not returned her call, nor has he responded to the message she left him, which he presumably threw out. Maggie thinks the actions do not make sense. Perhaps saying things in person would have more meaning. Jen realizes her note was actually a copout. Maggie calls it correctable. Jen calls her aunt amazing. The redhead insists she not waste any more time and go tell Dan how she feels pronto! She ushers the merry widow out the door. Moments later, Victor appears and she notes it is quiet at the house of Kiriakis. Has Chloe moved out? Victor grimaces. He kicked her out, but she pushed him too far, demanding he spend thousands on detoxing the house and wanting them to change drycleaners. Maggie agrees it was unreasonable. However, she emotionally implores him to reconsider for her sake! She would miss little Parker. Besides, Chloe would be more trouble if they could not keep an eye on her. She is especially concerned about Dan … - Nick stares strangely at the computer and recalls Rafe claiming to know what happened to him in prison. Nick flashes back to the man with the beard calling him Nikki. leering he knew what happened to snitches, and stabbing him. He stands up and numbly looks out the window.“You think you know what happened, Rafe, but you don’t …” Read Part 2 of UNHOLY and Spoilers ...! |
