Episode 12,020 - Nicole is trying to focus on files in Eric’s office and smiles at Father Hunky, who is at his desk. He suddenly rips his collar off and grabs her in a passionate kiss. Nicole wakes up in her bed with a gasp, then flashes back to Kristen warning her not to fall for a priest. She tells herself it was the tacos, then has a fantasy of naked Eric in bed with her, his eyes filled with desire. She wonders what is the matter with her and jumps out of bed. - At her apartment, Sami is upset to hear that John is gone. Mama Marlena reminds her she summoned her to talk about something else. Sami is nervous. So is Marlena. Sami now announces she and EJ are back together. Marlena shuts her eyes. When did this happen? She and Rafe … Sami reasons she saw Rafe for what he really is and no longer wishes to be with him. Marlena reminds her that EJ has a history of cruelty toward her. She understands there was tension between her daughter and Rafe but EJ???? She is only hurting herself. Sami bangs around and wishes she would talk as her mother and not a shrink so the blonde obliges. “What the hell are you doing!” Pause. She is sorry and tells her daughter she is worried. Sami insists this has been slowly developing while she and EJ worked together. He has been a veritable prince, nothing like before. Marlena wishes she could be happy for her. Sami asks her to be open to the idea of him changing. Marlena questions whether that was before his father left town. And will he be the same when his father returns and he is under his sphere of influence? Sami stares. - Stefano is pleased to hear from Elvis, who bears good news. He gushes to spit it out. But papa phoenix acts exasperated upon hearing he is back with Samantha and asked how it happened. He implies Sami was the one who engineered the reconciliation. EJ praises her tenacity, although this time they just fell in love naturally. He is confident they will work out. Stefano shakes his head with a grimace all the way from Italy. - Still at the Chicago club, Kristen flops all over Brady’s cozy lap and flirts as he insists he wants to take her home. She wants another drinky. Brady wants the check. Kristen stands on the table and screams she loooooooves this guy for all of Chicago to hear. She is out of control. Brady asks for the bill, then notices her pouring her drink on a plant. What is she doing? She slurs she was watering the plants cos she just looooooves nature. He assumes she is as drunk as a skunk and helps her stagger out, rather amused. He takes her into the lounge and they sit on the couch. She slurs she is drunk. Brady humors her. She claims he was wrong about her marriage idea. She knows he is holding back so as not to upset John and Marlena but what for? She gasps they are in Chicago. But this is still all about Marlenaaaaa. - In Chicago, Daniel has just answered Brady’s phone. He informs Chloe this is him and would like to know what is the matter. Chloe snaps she is at the hospital for his son Parker is burning up with a high fever! Pause. He urges her to calm down and clarify. Chloe cries about his temperature, It was 105. Dan repeats the number. She now hands the phone to Dr. Kayla, who assures him they are working on bringing down his fever, though they know not the cause. Dan will be right there and ushers Jen out with him. Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Kayla tries to calm Chloe by getting started on the paperwork. A nurse shows up and states the boy is now convulsing. Kayla rushes in. Chloe panics. - Eric enters the dark parish office, where Nicole is all dolled up. He turns on the light and wonders what she is doing there. She was there to get her purse from a drawer and stands up in her little black dress. She gives him a defiant look and quips she is going out. Where? Not his business. He wonders where this attitude is coming from. She talks fun. He sternly reminds her of the unspoken rules of the convent. Nicole admires herself in her compact. Father Eric points out her dress …. She wonders whether he likes it. He stammers that is not relevant. She cannot go out like that! Nicole retorts oh yes she can and she will! - Dan finally arrives as Chloe panics over her son’s convulsion. The medicine man assures her he will go see what is happening. He soon returns and explains it is just a fever. They are looking into whether it was caused by a virus. Chloe cries and hugs him in relief. He praises her for doing the right thing. However, he is surprised she did not attempt to contact him in Chicago. Chloe angrily informs him that Jennifer claimed they would be at Club Inferno in Salem! Dan is flabbergasted. - Kristen suggests to Brady there should be a 13th step cos the 12 steps did not work to change his mind about his stepmother. She grabs her “hot hunky boyfriend” and kisses him. He makes her soooo happy! Brady is pleased with the attention. Kristen repeats she loves him and gushes she remembers the first time he kissed her. He loves her too. She suggests he think of all the reasons to say yes to marrying her and teases him with kisses. Brady chuckles and kisses her back. - EJ pleasantly pays Samantha a visit with some work from the campaign but she teases he forgot something. He kisses her and she swoons, then removes his scarf. Sydney and Johnny are asleep in the other room, while Ally is out with a friend and the babysitter. They have a few hours to themselves and therefore continue kissing. Sami marvels that Johnny thinks daddy seems so happy. She is happy too. He silences her with another kiss and tells her to stop talking. - Marlena walks alone in the dark park. Ring ring! Stefano calling! - Kristen pouts and claims she loves Brady with all her heart and soul. She wants to show the whole world. She fears losing him, as she has never been this happy, hence her wish to make it official, with the big dress and vows. “I want my happy ending!” she cries on his shoulder. Bewitched Brady believe it but they really need to go home. He tenderly tells her to wait as he steps out to fetch her coat. Kristen frowns. - Back at the rectory, Nicole calls Eric a hypocrite. He fired Brady and Kristen from the church board for having sex. He explains it was not like that. Nicole goes on to say that sex is normal and suggests he is jealous that others are having fun without him. Eric stares darkly. Nicole taunts him that she intends to go out to make up for lost time. He gives her an accusing look. She dares him to say what his on his mind! Eric laments she is acting up again and trying to provoke him but why? In a brief moment of honesty, the tormented secretary confesses she does not want to hurt him … - EJ is kissing Sami on the couch, then notes Johnny or Sydney could wake up or Ally could come home. Sami thinks they should tell the kids about them. EJ eagerly agrees, then gets back to kissing her. A child makes noise in the other room so EJ goes to investigate. Sami gets to the work files he brought, but soon gets an eyeful of something that makes her swoon even more … - Meanwhile Marlena demands to know why Stefano is calling.
