Rafe pounds on her door. EJ and Sami are still kissing. She clutches him with her blue nails. Rafe growls to open the door. They do not and muse they did not hear a thing anyway. Rafe rages to open the damn door. Sami explains to EJ she will only take a minute. He reluctantly lets her go. She opens the door and accuses Rafe of disturbing the peace. He warns her to leave his sister alone. She trashes Gabi for what she almost did and starts to close the door but Rafe has something to say and will not be dismissed. He saunters in, spies EJ, and drawls how perfect! He gets sarcastic about their speed record. Sami does not want his opinion and wants him to leave. Rafe wants to know if she confronted Gabi at the pub. Sami defiantly retorts she did. EJ quips she has rights. Rafe grumbles to stay out of this. He warns Sami not to give his pregnant sister a hard time. Sami coldly assures him she will be mindful of Gabi’s delicate condition, provided she respect Will’s rights as a father. Rafe concludes they are done and steps out. EJ follows him into the hall and drawls he is not finished with him yet! - Hope arrives at Jen’s looking for a sleeping bag and notices her packed bag. She explains she is going away with Daniel - for the night! Hope’s interest is piqued. Jen updates her on Chloe going after her man so she is taking action! Hope smiles she is being spontaneous. Jen wonders if it is too soon. Hope teases does she? Jen decides she is ready for more with Daniel, though she will always remember Jack in her heart. Hope gets it. Jen does not want to wait anymore. This is about her and Dan and her feelings for him. This year she learned a great deal - one should never take time with loved ones for granted. One must treasure every moment. Hope says amen to that and the cousins hug. - Chloe is with baby Parker and Dan at the comfy Kiriakis mansion. She invites him to hang around her and Parker tonight and is all smiles until she hears he is going away with Jen for the whole night! He hands her the number for the lodge, in case of an emergency. She tries to busy herself by playing with Parker’s blocks. Dan senses something is the matter. She claims she needed to discuss something big with him. It was about how Kate tried to use her past against her. Dan decides to make the time to hear that, as it is important. Chloe claims to feel terrible about the choices she made. Dan tries to stop her from dredging up her illustrious past but she insists she must. She was soooo in love with him and then when things fell apart … Dan assures her she is an amazing mother and their son is their top priority. That is all that matters. Chloe agrees. Dan decides he needs to go. She chuckles it was not a romantic warmup to his evening. He says not to worry about him and Jen. Jealous Chloe points out things are moving fast. Especially for Jennifer! Dan insists they are solid so she does not need to worry about Parker getting confused. He hastily takes off. Chloe knocks over some baby blocks in a huff. Maggie runs into Dan at the door and is pleased to hear he is en route to Green Mountain lodge. He was just visiting with Parker, but complains he does not know him yet. Perhaps he expects too much. Maggie gushes he will get there and then they can have a party. Exit Dan. - At the coffee house, Brian asks Sonny if he wishes to stop. They kiss even more. Will peers through the dark window. Brian suggests they go somewhere private. Sonny is all smiles. Will steps away from the door. Moments later, Sonny and Brian emerge. Will is concealed around the corner as they walk off, arm in arm. Will is clearly crushed and hangs his head. He ambles through the town square all alone, where suited Justin greets him. He is on his way to see Sonny at the coffee house. Will mutters he is not there. He must have decided to close early. Justin asks if Will knows where he went. Will is dazed with disillusionment. Legal eagle Justin senses something and repeats his question. Will turns away, a tear in his eye, and whispers he has no idea where Sonny went. Justin stops him and would like to hear how he is holding up as he has not seen him since Christmas. Will woefully recalls how nice that day was, despite the secret he was keeping. Justin brings up having a good custody lawyer. Naive Will wonders whether he needs one. Justin flashes back to Nick wanting to prove Will as an unfit father! Alas, Justin is bound by legal ethics and can only say one ought to know one’s rights. Will informs him EJ did retain a custody lawyer, though he suspects it will not be necessary, as they are getting along, he, Gabi, and Nick. He was even present at the sonogram. Justin fondly remembers those. Will notes he had originally agreed to give up the baby as he was afraid of what he might lose, which tragically he did end up losing regardless … He walks off into the night. Justin considers. - Sonny and Brian toast to better days. Brian calls it sexy that Sonny seems comfortable in his own skin. He puts on some mood music. Sonny seems to want to talk and asks him about when he came out. Brian is more interested in seducing him. He would rather not talk. He has waited a long time for Sonny, whom he calls special, and starts to kiss him ... They are soon in bed, kissing. Brian reaches for the belt. Sonny suddenly jumps up and exclaims he cannot do this. It would only be sex. Brian muses that is not a bad thing. But he agrees to walk Sonny out since he could now use a blast of cold air! - EJ reminds Rafe that he is finished here. Rafe congratulates him on coming in second. EJ feels that is not the case. Sami explained what happened, why she did not tell him about Rafe. Rafe quips she lies. He thinks EJ and Sami deserve each other. EJ growls to stay out of their lives. Rafe scoffs she is all his, he just needs to keep her away from him and Gabi. EJ now returns to Sami and states he will not be coming back. “Good,” sighs Sami. She gets them a glass of wine and claims she is glad about it. So is he. They sip their wine. EJ finds her unexpected calmness disorienting. She admits she was not calm earlier when she went after Gabi, but she was trying to sneak off and get married behind Will’s back. She fears her son is too trusting and could be easily hoodwinked by the notorious Nick and his girl Gabi. EJ promises her they will not allow that to happen. - Chloe pretends to Maggie that she is worried about Parker if Dan and Jen get involved. The redhead quips they already overcame obstacles. Chloe suggests Jennifer might not be that committed, as she did cast him aside for Jack before. Maggie snaps that is quite enough! She may be the mother of her grandson, which makes her welcome in this house. However, she has no right to trash Dan and Jen! Chloe argues she knows he was devastated when Jen chose Jack over him. Poor Dan is so easily hurt. Maggie doubts that and walks off. Chloe remains determined to stop Dan and Jen’s romantic night no matter what … - Dan comes in from the cold to smiling Jen at warm Horton house. He is ready and willing and so is she. They thank God for second chances, kiss, and happily depart. He carries her bag, gentleman that he is. They later arrive to their room at the lodge. Jen gushes there is a jacuzzi. He tells her of their dinner reservations and they start t kiss like a couple in love. They opt for room service. He teases he might not be a gentleman much longer. She says okay to that and kisses him again. - Sonny is back at the coffee house when Justin arrives. He explains he went out for a while and is back to catch up on stuff. Justin asks his son how he is. Sonny assures him the business is good. Other than that, there is nothing to say. He admits that on a personal level, he is hurting and everything feels messed up. “Because you don’t have Will,” concludes Justin ... - Brian enters the pub and approaches Will, who is working on a college assignment at a table. Despite the smile, Brian is up to no good ... - EJ suggests he get the custody lawyer to call William. Sami is surprised by his timing. EJ goes into lawyer mode and she wonders where he went. Does he not want … “You?” he stammers. She gasps yes. He admits he has wanted her every waking moment for the last six years. She wonders what they are doing. He suspects they are waiting for some unexpected interruption to come between them like usual. They wait but there is none. She laughs when he remarks there is nothing in their way at long last. Tis scary. He advises her to run. Sami teases he should run for his life while he still has a chance and they kiss passionately. She talks feelings. EJ suddenly makes an emotional confession ...
