PART 1 - At Horton house, Sonny stops Will from putting the site back, fearing the bad guys will still kill Chad and Mel. Will wonders what they should do. He sits back down and tries to get the site up. Abigail suggests they go to the cops, who might already know, as Bo and Hope have been trying to reach them. Sonny wants the police left out of it. He gets a text. The gang want to know what it said. It said TICK TOCK. Sonny realizes the texts have been coming from Chad's phone. Perhaps they can track his location. Abigail is worried. Gabi naively assures her those gambling crooks are not killers. She needs to remember that. - Meanwhile, in thugville, the main thug leers to his big dumb flunky that the two hostages will be leaving in body bags! - In captivity, Mel cries to Chad that they will be killed. Chad touches her face and promises no one will hurt her. He cuddles her and kisses her head. Mel hopes Will and Sonny have the site back up and goes to the door, banging on it. Chad stammers once they ... get out ... they can forget all about this mess. Mel notices he looks worried and wants to know what he is not saying. Chad stares tragically into space. She snaps to look at her, She suddenly realizes they are in big trouble as they could identify the bad guys. She weeps. - The main thug prepares his gun! The big dumb flunky thinks that is not the best way to play this. His superior refuses to let the punks ruin their payoff. If he wants to be rich, he will have to get his hands dirty! - Back in their room, Mel cries and screams. Chad puts his arms around her and she sobs what are they going to do?! She laments if they do not make it ...she wants him to know it is hard for her to be around him. She cries that when they kissed ... Chad looks into her eyes. She wants to say this now in case she never gets the chance ... - Bo and Hope are at the town square and have just shown Carrie and Rafe the shocking picture of the scared trapped teens. They know the bad guys just want to get the site back up and running. Bo insists they find the others before they attempt to handle this volatile situation on their own. - At the pub, Jen is worried that Abigail is not answering her phone. Dan is worried that Mel is not answering hers. He hopes Chad is not like the other DiMeras. Dan and Jack start to leave together. Victor offers his unique brand of assistance and accompanies them. Maggie consoles Jen and they stay behind . - Dan, Jack, and Vic arrive at the town square, and papas Jack and Dan demand answers from Bo. What is going on! Bo repeats that there is a gambling website. Jack and Dan are exasperated they cannot reach their daughters. Vic reminds Bo this is more than a case to them. They are fathers. Bo remarks he too is a father. The guys walk off. Hope quietly suggests to Bo that Dan has a right to know his daughter is in danger. Bo, however, was worried Victor would involve his men. He has an idea that will mean following up on a lead ... - Austin approaches Carrie and Rafe at the town square. Carrie updates him. So does Rafe. Austin wonders whether Sami knows about Will's involvement. Not at the moment. Rafe goes to place a call. He has not reached Sami. Austin is miffed that Rafe has involved Carrie in the matter, as he is not even on the police force. Carrie wants to know why her husband came to the square. Austin explains he was there for the award ceremony. - The men return to the pub and Jack insists Bo knows more than he is sharing. Maggie asks Victor if that is true. The Greek tycoon growls it is true and if something doesn't change soon, then he will be calling in a few favors! - Bo gets a call that someone is trying to access the server connected to the website. The IP has been traced to Mrs. H's house. Supercops Bo and Hope are on their way, minus Rafe, as he is no longer on the police force. - At Horton house, Sonny traces Chad's stolen phone to an abandoned warehouse down at the waterfront. The girls insist on going with him. Will makes a comment about Gabi doing what she wants. He asks the gang to text him and keep him updated. He now sits down and gets back to work. - Rafe glumly sits down at a table outside. Carrie approaches and places a reassuring hand on his shoulder when she hears he could not go with the police. Austin is holding a couple of cups of coffee for them nearby and watches darkly. - Dan, Jen, and Jack are back at the town square. Jack nervously shouts he cannot take how everyone is disappearing! - In captivity, Chad informs Mel he feels the same way. That kiss at Halloween was no mistake. The moment they kissed, he knew who she was, but he did not want to stop. He liked kissing her ... "I can't stop thinking about that or you," he murmurs. Mel smiles through her tears. "Me neither!" And she feels so guilty. They agree that kiss felt like they were meant to be. They feel terrible about Abigail, though. Chad does not want to stop feeling the way he does when he is with Mel, that is all he knows ... - Sonny, Abigail, and Gabi arrive at the abandoned warehouse. He goes to check it out, leaving the girls behind, Abigail wonders why Mel was grabbed. Gabi thinks she might have been with Chad. All of a sudden, the main thug grabs Gabi from behind. Abigail stares as he waves his gun and leers one word and she is dead! He orders her to get moving ... - Austin joins Rafe and Carrie and wants to know where Bo and Hope have gone. Rafe drawls he cannot say. Austin growls he is worried about Will and he therefore has every right to know what is going on, in case Carrie is in danger. Carrie asks Rafe to give them a moment alone. She assures Austin she will handle this. But Austin is mad about her dealing with Rafe on this matter cos it was not part of the deal. She states they will discuss this later and storms off. - Sonny discovers the girls are gone.
