She opens the pretty yellow flowers and is surprised, as he has not been that attentive. He assures her that will change. He plans to be a better boyfriend. Gabi is caught off guard when Will informs her they have to shut the website down. He would rather discuss their relationship. He has realized how he did not make enough time for them. Gabi suspects something is bothering him and wants him to tell her. Will admits much has been happening and he would like to tell her, yet he is not certain where to start. But he really wants to be with her. Gabi lets him take her hand. He coos he wants to show her how much he cares about her. More stuff awaits at the loft. Gabi gushes she will come by after class. Will promises things will be different from now on. - At the town square café, Sami is having a coffee with Jen, updating her on Rafe's romantic surprise. Carrie arrives to join them with Lexie. Sami looks stressed. Lexie wonders why. Carrie notes she must be upset as she has asked Rafe to keep working to help clear John. Sami solemnly states this is the first she has heard of it! Carrie is sorry and explains Rafe did not think she would have a problem with it. Sami blinks and points out they cannot change the fact that John pleaded guilty. Jen and Lexie are ready to change the subject. So is Sami. She could use some advice on balancing her career and home life. The girls decide to form their own support breakfast club. Jen will come up with a name. They toast with their coffees. After Lexie and Jen depart, Carrie asks about Johnny. Sami laments it is tough, as he still reacts to loud noise. Carrie is sympathetic. Sami sighs she only wishes she could put that whole event behind her. She starts to leave, as she forgot a file at home. Carrie suggests she first go see Marlena ... Sami snaps she will not say she is sorry about John being the one responsible for Johnny going missing. She is equally miffed at Marlena and would rather pretend it never happened. Exit preoccupied Sami. Carrie is saddened. - John is working out in his cell. Abe comes to visit and John explodes, telling him to get out and never come back! Abe is utterly baffled. John elaborates. He does not want him to lose the election because of him. Mayor Abe states their friendship is separate from his campaign. John insists he turn around and not come back! Salem needs a good mayor like Abraham. John emotionally insists he also stop DiMera once and for all! - Nicole gushes about Broadway tickets as EJ starts to kiss her on the Salem sofa. Her phone rings but he drawls she should ignore it and they get hot and heavy. EJ suddenly flashes back to his passion on the sofa with Sami and stops. Nicole asks what just happened.What is the matter? He stares. She begs him to answer. EJ replies it is nothing. She just wore him out. Nicole would like to know what just happened. If he gets like this ... EJ assures the now insecure Nicole that he loves, wants, and needs her. He grins and charmingly urges her to believe him. She wants to. He suddenly lifts her up to carry her off to the bedroom. She jumps down when she gets paged and exclaims they have to leave now. He must not miss this! - Nicole and EJ arrive at the town square. The eagle has landed! Nicole has arranged for the pushy press to ambush Abe as he happens by. Star news presses him about his recent jail visit to felon John Black. Nicole and EJ smugly watch as they fire off questions and Abe gets a tad testy. Jen appears with Lexie and shoos them away. EJ is still impressed with Nicole. Mad Jennifer steps forward. Nicole sarcastically asks about her Thanksgiving. Jen defiantly states she is more than ready to talk turkey with her! She accuses Nicole of being dirty and underhanded. They want a clean, up front campaign, but now they have left her no choice. EJ's sordid history is officially fair game! EJ and Nicole look nervous. Jen points out it is a long list of misdeeds. Lexie seconds the motion. Nicole plays innocent but Jen accuses her of grandstanding. Abe supports his PR girl. Sailor Moon Jen warns Nicole that the gloves are off! Nicole gets sarcastic again. Jen reminds her she has no experience in PR and she just made her first fatal mistake by underestimating her opponent. She storms off with Abe and Lexie. - Carrie joins John in his cell and admits she is working pro bono and Rafe is doing the field work. They are a win win team. She is anxious to get him home. Marlena is lost without him. John laments not to waste time and energy his hopeless cause. She and Sami should focus on their own families. - Sami flounces into the loft to pick up her file and is glad to see Will. He glowers at her and she wonders if she has done something to make him angry. Will flashes back to what he saw and exclaims "What could you have done that would bother me!" Sami blanches, but then regains her composure and insists she does everything for her family. What can she do? Will cries out she cannot fix this. She wants to know what IT is. A text from work interrupts the heated discusison. Will bitterly suggests she go back to her job. She informs him she is trying to help pay for his college. He snaps to just go. Sami will see him later. Will doubts it and drops a bombshell. "I'm moving out!" Sami is stunned. Will announces he and Gabi are getting their own place. Sami thinks he and Gabi are young and should not rush. Will leers she is surely in no position to give him relationship advice ...! Read Part 2 - click here! |
