| Wednesday, December 12, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up in the afternoon of December 11 TROUBLE! - Will joins pretty Abigail at the festive pub. She had requested this meeting as Gabi asked her to be the maid of honor. She wonders if he finds the whole situation odd. She certainly does. Will muses that Gabi’s pregnancy was probably more of a surprise to him than anyone! Abi remarks she was not with Nick for long before it happened. Despite the strangeness, Abigail the optimist hopes things will work out for the pair. So does Will. She could not help but notice that Will is preoccupied and asks if things are going well with Sonny. Will’s face lights up like a Christmas tree. Things are ... awesome between them! Abigail teases “Are you in looove?” Will enlightens her that he and Sonny are indeed in love. She is elated for him and wishes she too had found that someone special. Will encourages her that the right guy will find her. Abigail the romantic sure hopes so. - At the rectory, Gabi is surprised when the nun informs her and Nick that Father Eric will be with them shortly. She had assumed it was Father Tobias and looks at Nick. “Do you think he knows I’m pregnant?” Eric clears his throat. Oops! He takes his seat at his impressive desk across from the couple who wish to be married. He is curious about when they met. Not long ago, as they both work at the Brady pub. Gabi is soon stunned to hear that Eric is in fact Will’s uncle. He hopes it will not be a problem for her. Gabi nervously babbles and wonders if he is the brother of Will’s mother. Eric pleasantly points out he is Sami’s twin. He asks if they are fine with him still marrying them. Nick hastily assures him they are. Father Eric solemnly states they must discuss this further. They must confirm some things before they proceed. Nick hopes there will not be a problem. Father Eric explains they must do the required premarital counseling. Gabi agrees without hesitation. So does Nick. Eric has taken the liberty of arranging some appointments on their behalf and hands them the cards, which they check out together. Eric gets a call he must take. He informs them it was great meeting them both, and exits after musing his grandmother will probably make sure they keep their appointments. It appears the church wedding is a go. Gabi is relieved as her mother would not forgive her if she did not get married in church, along with a mass. Nick drawls they are doing it for their baby too. She loves the sound of that and they happily leave together. - Sonny meets papa Justin at the town square café for a meeting. Justin wonders why not the coffee house? Sonny did not want anyone he knows to hear what he is going to say. He wants to discuss one Gabi Hernandez! Justin is perplexed. Sonny laments he thinks she is using Will, whom he loves. He senses he is protecting Gabi. Justin the lawyer asks from what. He now informs him what Chad shared with him - Gabi was involved in Melanie’s abduction. Sonny lowers his voice and notes if Gabi was behind Mel’s kidnapping, he fears Will discussing it with her could lead to him being charged as an accessory after the fact! Justin regrets he can say nothing about the matter. Sonny now realizes his father is the lawyer. He is not pleased he is representing Gabi’s interest, even though she did it! He frowns. Justin assures him he is not representing Gabi but warns him he should not repeat not speak about this with anyone. It would be in his own best interest. He reminds him Gabi would be considered innocent until proven guilty. He must now get to a meeting. Sonny agrees to back off but his eyes mirror his dread. - At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady admires an expensive gold bracelet. He remembers making love with Kristen and proceeds to write her a note to attach to the gift. “I hope this makes your wrist feel better and hope our night together was as memorable for you as it was for me!” He stops and stares. - Marlena is working in her office and tells the visitor knocking at the door to enter . She is very happy to see John and greets him with a kiss, somewhat surprised. John explains he had suspected whatever was bothering her when she left this morning still weighs on her mind, hence his unannounced visit. She sighs she has not been completely honest with him. John peers at her, then sighs it must be about Kristen. She flashes back to what she saw and announces she cannot ignore it. He urges her to just spit it out. Easier said than done. - Brady lovingly places the bracelet box in his jacket as soon as Victor appears and asks about it. Brady teases it is not his business that he has a jewelry box from Squire’s. Victor is both amused and intrigued. Brady must have met a woman. He is utterly delighted though he would like to have her vetted. He praises Brady for coming back to the land of the living. He knows at times he has wished he perished with Madison but is very glad he did not. Brady thanks him. Victor is in the mood to go to Sonny’s for a fancy coffee. He now gets a call from Irving the lawyer and quips “Who’s suing us today!” When he steps into the adjoining room, Brady reopens his note to Kristen. From the other room, Victor asks him to come in as Irving is insisting he sent over a contract. Brady leaves the note unattended and joins him. - Chad is serving at the coffee house when Kristen arrives and pretends to give him a hard time. He reminds her he never sees her either and she admits she has been too busy to stop by. She had to hand over the reins of Countess W to EJ but she would like to get to know little brother Chad better. Chad gets sarcastic, then admits he is not in a good place at present. She concludes it is because his fiancée dumped him and offers him a sympathetic ear. Chad explains he is now upset as he told someone something he should not have. He is certain he will keep his silence but still regrets what he did. Kristen wonders whether he used his intel as a weapon. She purrs that information is a powerful thing, especially when used to one’s advantage. Chad is not sure but she points out information can be tailored to get the exact results one wants. Chad asks if she knows what she wants. She replies she is still navigating but smiles she is a quick study! She goes on to warn Chad that anger and revenge can always come back to haunt a person. Revenge is a dish best served cold. Chad is admittedly confused. Kristen warns him he must step back before making what he wants to happen happen. He must not be bloodthirsty or driven by anger, rather cool and calculating. One must also make certain that one does not enable the one who receives the revenge to ever hit back. If one plays it slowly and with caution, one never knows what may fall into one’s lap … Victor now enters with Brady, notices Kristen and calls her a fruitcake. But Brady is not laughing with him. The Greek tycoon recalls how Brady had insisted she was wreaking havoc for his father, giving him hell. Brady righteously retorts she is not giving him hell or anything else! - At the pub, Will gets a call from Sonny, who announces he is on his way to talk to him. Will notices the upset in his voice and wonders what it is all about. “Gabi!” exclaims Sonny. - John urges his Marlena to talk to him. She marvels they have weathered many storms as a team, though this situation with Kristen makes her feel alone. He assures her that she is not alone. She laments she cannot take Kristen at face value. John wonders if she continues to believe Kristen is after him. Negative. John wonders then what is the damn problem! She refuses to be put on the defensive and adds this is not what he thinks. John is now interrupted by a call about a strike. He sighs he assumed the contract issue was resolved. He will be back at the office asap. He complains to doc that the workers at their largest manufacturer have gone on strike. Marlena is sympathetic. They exchange I love yous, a kiss, and he is gone. Marlena mulls everything over. She did not tell him for the truth would destroy his relationship with Brady and hers too! She flashes back to Kristen taunting her about her relationship with Brady keeping her from John. There is that to consider as well. - Sonny sits with Will at the pub and is relieved that Gabi is not present. He solemnly states he has a problem with Will being Nick’s best man. Will sighs and admits so does he, yet he gave his word and cannot back out now. Why is he against it? Sonny Kiriakis growls he does not trust that Gabi and neither should he! Just then Gabi and Nick return. They head for Sonny and Will’s table ... - Kristen sincerely hopes Chad will consider her advice, and also spend some time with herself and EJ during the holidays. He agrees and she squeals in delight. He casually adds he will see her later and gets back to work. Kristen gives Brady a seductive smile as she exits. Victor makes a snide remark. Brady informs him he feels differently now. Vic suspects that bump on the head got to him. Brady insists he is now certain, as is John, that Kristen is not after John. She really just wants to make amends in Salem. Victor is amazed they fell for her story and is curious what Marlena’s view on the matter is. Brady excuses himself. Victor will see him back at the house. Once his grandson has gone, he takes out his phone and scowls. "It's me. I’ve got to see you right away...!" Read Part 2 of TROUBLE - click here! |
