- In his mom’s office, juvenile delinquent JJ is curious about Jen’s joy. She claims to be happy about his change. He notes it is easier with just them, just the family, no outsiders. He wants to visit Will later. Jen calls him kind. JJ ignores a text from Theresa the tease and lies to his mom it was a wrong number. He gets her permission to also go out with a girl from school. Jen invites him to bring her to the house before the book club gets underway. She adds the last girl was too old. JJ asks about that one’s job performance. It is not good and she suspects she will not last! Meanwhile, Dan almost lets the good news about him and Jen slip to Maxine. She eyes him the way only she can and wonders ... Dan tries
to backtrack. Maxine gasps they are back together and giggles. He asks her to tell no one. She is elated for the couple but wonders why Jen
never mentioned it. Dan bites his lip. Maxine teases this is getting good and takes a call. Dan gingerly approaches Jen’s office as JJ catches the elevator, giving him am odd friendly greeting. Jen is still in her office, leaving a message about her employee who is not working out to Kayla. She is glad to see Dan, who requests a moment alone. He is curious what is going on between them. He senses she is not telling anyone of them getting back together, like Maxine and JJ so far! Jen does not deny it. He suspects there is something at play and demands to know if they are even back together! She takes his hands and refers to their afternoon delight
as wonderful. He notes she is less than anxious for anyone to know. Is
she experiencing doubts? Negative. He gathers she wishes to keep this between them. He hopes this does not mean another break. She assures him she wants them to be together and loves him. JJ is getting better
too. Dan is exasperated and questions her faith in the boy. He flashes
back to Nicole’s revelation that the known shoplifter was concealing something in his hand. Back to reality. Jen has the distinct impression
that Dan knows something. He changes the subject from JJ and gets frustrated. They need to focus on them. He urges her to confide in him. Jen explains her boy has gotten better since they were apart. Therefore, she needs more time. She is convinced he will accept him soon. Jen has
a proposal. They should continue seeing each other in secret! Dan muses she wants to sneak around. She states it is not cheap like that. He gets sarcastic. She reasons secret dates and stolen kisses could be romantic. Dan snaps he already did that with Chloe and it would only destroy their honesty, the foundation of their relationship. They would be lying to JJ and Abigail too. No way would he agree to such an arrangement! He storms out and Jen sighs.
- Elegant Maggie approaches studying Will at the park. He finds it tough
to focus on academics. She understands he is worried about his mother and suggests he think of all the good things like baby Ari and Sonny. Will stammers Sonny is ... great. Maggie notes his demeanor and asks if there are problems there. Will assures her they are good, though Sonny is busy with the remodeling of the coffee shop. The redhead heard and adds Victor told her his friend redesigned the look. Will explains that would be Brent. And things are busy with Arianna too. Maggie is sure that Sonny understands what it involves to raise a child. Will admits is worries him
to distraction that Sonny might be too understanding for his own good. Maggie holds his hand and reminds him that Sonny wanted their happily ever after. Will, however, feels he is giving up too much, like the trip he could not go on. The redhead points out being in a real relationship involves sacrifices. In the future, perhaps he should wait until Sonny says something bothers him, instead of making assumptions. Will is grateful
for the advice. JJ arrives and Maggie departs, giving JJ the cold shoulder. Will notices. JJ sighs her son and his mom broke up. Will is sorry cos
Dan the man is a great guy! JJ forces an insincere nod. He understands Will's mom is in a tight spot but he is here if he needs him. He offers to help with babysitting if Will wants to visit his mom. Will chuckles and is not likely to take him up on it. JJ now asks about Theresa. Will does not know her well but thinks it seems JJ does!
- At the rectory, Nicole confesses to Eric that it is true, she was sleeping with Brady short term. She curses Kristen for telling him! He explains
she thought he already knew. Nicole doubts it. Eric is troubled that she kept it from him. He realized they were an item in the past, though he
was unaware of her continued feelings for Brady. Nicole talks chemistry and quips it was inevitable they would find their way back to each other. Eric stares and informs her there is something she needs to know. It is
not his wish to hurt her, but Kristen wanted her to stay away from Brady. Nicole already knows he got back with the witch after giving her the boot. Eric shakes his holy head. Something is not quite right. Her cold, casual attitude does not seem like her. Nicole notes she no longer wastes any sadness on men. When it is time to move on, she moves on. There is no everlasting love for her. Eric whispers he does not believe that cold
person is the real her. Nicole
pretends it is.
- At DiMera mansion, Kristen loudly refuses to spend any time with Eric. Baffled Brady asks why. She remembers their unsavory encounter, when she drugged Father Eric at the hotel. The priest peers at her in confusion. Brady waits for his answer. She acts overwhelmed and promises to think about it. Matt certainly hopes so. Brady politely walks him to the door, Kristen wrings her hands. Brady returns and assures her his brother is
fine with them together so why did she panic? Kristen notes their working together would be - complicated! For starters, Marlena would have a fit! Brady assures her Eric could end up on their side by the time they are ready to tell John and Marlena of their reconciliation. She cackles at his optimism. Brady urges her to work with his brother so it will all proceed smoothly. Kristen does as requested and gets in touch with thrilled Father Matt, accepting the offer. Brady thanks her. She kisses him and insists
she would do anything for him! He has something naughty in mind. She laments she needs to go to the church to muddle through applications. Another kiss and he exits. Kristen the she devil places a hasty call. "I
need to see you right now!" she commands.
- Theresa leaves JJ a message from outside the pub, then enters and
greets Caroline. She is sympathetic about the Sami situation. Caroline has been praying. Theresa jokes so has she. Caroline thinks she looks well. Must be the job! Theresa pours coffee and asks about Nick. Caroline confirms he was a busboy and dishwasher here. Theresa snaps he was a loser. Caroline suggests they talk. She sits her down and advises the girl
to get rid of that chip on her shoulder. Theresa gets shrill and self-pitying. Her relatives should leave her alone! Caroline now mistakenly calls her Stephanie and the direction of the discussion changes. Theresa is sorry
she was snarky. She feels like a disappointment. Caroline informs her she just has the infamous Brady temper.
- Father Eric wistfully asks Nicole whether he and she are ... Matt suddenly appears with news. Nicole scurries away with handouts for the pews. Father Matt announces the bishop picked Kristen to help him select the scholarship recipients. Eric is dismayed to discover she has actually agreed to it. He sighs she has done much to hurt is family. The senior priest points out she has changed. And this is important to the bishop.
Eric mutters he will do it.
- Kristen summons her eastern potion doctor to the mansion and demands to know if her target will remember her once they start working side by side. She is not amused. He assures her he will not remember. Kristen wants to know if he would stake his life on it! It will be fine. So he says anyway ...
- Nicole pauses outside Eric’s office and sighs to herself that she had to make Eric believe what she told him on this day! It was for the best ...
- JJ reminds Will that Theresa just works for his mom. Bev arrives and friendly Will suggests they come by the club once it is ready. JJ hopes for drinks but Will explains he cannot serve them alcohol. He takes his leave and Bev learns that JJ’s mom wants to meet her. She becomes anxious. He thinks she will be fine! She is looking forward to getting into trouble afterwards. JJ gets a wicked idea about the book club meeting at his
house and starts to laugh.
- Theresa arrives at the hospital as Dan is on the phone trying to get rid
of his symphony tickets. She marches over and says a flirty hi. He asks if she likes the symphony and is free tomorrow tonight.She says absolutely, with stars in her young eyes. Dan drawls he is sure she will find someone to go with, gives her the tickets, and departs. She is about to drop them in the trash, but then thinks better of it. She can scalp them for cash for a product and this time she will get it from an adult! Nurse Maxine spies
her at the elevator and notes the boss lady is looking for her. Theresa is soooooooory and leaves in the elevator regardless.
- Brady wants a word with the lady of the Kiriakis manor and warns Maggie he might shock her. She reacts with Oh God when she finds out he is seeing Kristen all over again!
- Kristen arrives at Eric’s holy office with a crooked smile. Matt is elated to have her on board. He pleasantly excuses himself. Father Eric stares
at Kristen stares at Eric. He pulls out the files of applications. Kristen concedes this is most uncomfortable for both of them. And it will be hard for him to explain to Marlena. Eric admits his mother will just have to understand. Brady hopes this will mark a new chapter for them. He welcomes her to the team and extends a hand. When he clasps her hand, he frowns. She wonders why. Eric suddenly gets an unexpected call
from his grandmother and excuses himself. Kristen wonders what just transpired, until Nicole comes up behind her. "What the hell are you
doing here!"
- Maxine has some files for Jen and teases she must have something to share. Jen claims she does not. Furthermore, she has work to do. Exit Maxine. Jen now takes out the article on Dan and tenderly touches his picture.
- Maggie cannot believe Brady actually believes that Kristen has changed, He declares they are in love! He understands the risks. She reminds him he himself said he was addicted to love. He thinks this is different. They are proceeding slowly and this time around, his eyes are wide open. If Kristen is playing him, he will surely see it.
- Nicole angrily accuses Kristen of snooping through parish files. Kristen shoves them at her nemesis, sweetly asks her to make photocopies, and informs her that she is her new boss! (see picture above)
