- Chad suspects Cam is playing games but he is serious. Dead serious!
He prevents him from leaving and assures the suspicious DiMera that he has no romantic agenda here. Abigail can see whoever she wants. This is
a doctor to patient consultation. Chad makes light of the bump on his head. Cam tries to make him understand that they might have found something on the CT. They will need to probe more. Chad demands clarification. He simply must know the worst case scenario. Cam blurts out it could be a brain tumor. Chad stares in horror.
- JJ has just dropped his cocaine intended for Theresa the tease and bumped into Nicole. He grabs the tube from the ground and excuses himself. Nicole addresses Jen’s son JJ. He acts like he is in a hurry. She asks what he is hiding in his hand, then introduces herself to the teen as
a friend of his mother. JJ suddenly realizes who NICOLE is. He snaps he heard she accused his mom of killing her baby and tried to ruin her life. Nicole remarks there were extenuating circumstances. JJ haughtily scoffs. Nicole thinks he is nasty. He calls her a lowlife. She wonders where he came from cos Jen is conservative and Jack had better manners than this. JJ slips the coke into his jean pocket and keeps on bickering, like he wants to divert attention. Nicole praises Jen for being kind to her. JJ calls her a wimp. Nicole starts to leave. The boy has something else to say first. It
is something she should know! He grins Jen and Dan are taking a break. Since Nicole is alone and miserable and he is free, she should make a move. Nicole cannot believe this cos Jen is in love with Dan. She sees JJ the amateur is trying to play a player and warns him to leave her out of
his mind games in the future or else she will tell his mother to check his pocket when he gets home! Nicole waltzes off. JJ nervously reaches for the stash in his pocket.
- At the office, HR Anne accuses Jen of not running her department with competence. Jen tries to call her AWOL assistant again, as the girl tries to make small talk with Dr. Dan at his pub table. She continues to ignore her calls and flirts. He tries to tell her he is not staying here long. She keeps talking and claims it is nice to have someone to speak with in person as she always works the phone. He is still holding his menu. Theresa muses the folks in Salem are not very nice to her. He doubts it, then gets a call. She muses he must be in demand days and nights! Dan impatiently mutters he will see her later and steps away. She is hoping for sooner rather than later! Meanwhile, Jen sternly reminds Anne that assistant Theresa happens to be chief of staff Kayla’s niece and dismisses her complaints. Anne leers the bigger issue is really Jen!
- Forensics man Mason has sent an mail to Eric and Dan on what he has done so far. It is a work in progress and he expects to be able to solve what happened in his hotel room soon. Eric thanks him and gets off the phone. Father Matt enters his office and is elated the bishop wants him to stay despite the Sami drama. Matt notes they are all praying for his sister and it was not related to him. Eric admits he is still worried about another kind of trouble.
- Meanwhile Kristen calls forensics investigator Mason with a southern accent and insists on coming to his place of work. She starts to race out the DiMera door, but then runs into baffled Brady, who wonders what clothes she has in that bag she is carrying. Pause. She lies she has to
dress up for a client who is coming in for a lunch appointment. Brady kisses her and seductively states lunch will be in a couple of hours. She puts the brakes on his amorous advances. Brady now declares he knows they have a chance because he never stopped loving her! He reminds the woman he loves that honesty is the most important thing. Kristen gushes his love means much to her and kisses him. He wants her to stay. She promises to make her meeting short and sweet and takes off. He exits
too.
- Abigail opens her door to Aunt Adrienne. Unfortunately, she just missed Jen. Adrienne notes she is pale and hopes she is alright. She slept little last night as she was worrying about JJ and Jen. Adrienne gasps that she too
is worried and proceeds to have a melt down. She cries that she cannot continue like this. Her son and husband are so angry! She wishes they would understand! Abigail hugs her. Adrienne brings up the video she handed over to the authorities. She was protecting Sonny from being accused of withholding evidence. She had to do it. The truth always has
a way of coming out!
- Matt sits down after Eric admits someone might have feelings for him at their church and it is not a parishioner! Eric prays it is not true but what if it is true? Matt suggests facing one’s problems head on. Eric just wants to avoid any further scandal for the parish. Matt agrees. Eric now gets a call. Something has come up. He thanks Matt and rushes out. Wise Father Matt takes it all in stride.
- Dan returns to the table. He has paid his bill but Theresa ordered him a refill on his coffee. She goes to check on it. Eric sweeps in and asks Dan whether he too received the email from Mason. They sit and look at it together. Theresa stands in a distance with the coffees. She approaches with the coffee for Dan. Eric explains they are talking business. Theresa gives them their space. The two men are still studying the email and Eric politely asks him to translate the report for him cos it is complicated. The priest now gets a call from the bishop’s assistant. Theresa thanks God
and gets back to Dan. She asks if he is going back to the hospital. He suggests she go back on her own. Theresa turns and pretends to have
a twinge in her lower back. Disinterested Dan tells her to take care of herself and keeps reading his message. Theresa exits and opts for plan B. She calls JJ and hopes he is still available. He is and he still has the stuff. She orders him to meet her at the park in ten minutes.
- Kristen is disguised like Susan and complaining about her cheating man to Mason when she spies the Eric file on his desk. It has the details of the blood and samples and probably more ... Kristen is going by the name Mrs. Winston and wants to hire Mr. Ventura, due to his good google reviews. She wants him to help her kick her husband to the curb and
take him to the cleaners. Mason explains he is not her guy for he does
not handle such investigations. He tries without success to make her understand. No luck. She stubbornly insists he is her guy!
- Chad does not get what hitting his head has to do with a tumor. Cam explains they found it by chance, the two things were not related. Chad frowns and wonders whether he has what Lexie had. Cam points out it is not conclusive at this point, though he should see a specialist. Chad grins maybe the intern doesn’t even know what he is talking about. Cam adds he did speak with a doctor from neurology who concurred. Chad gets upset about him talking to a stranger. With tears in his eyes, he suggests he wants him to die so he will win Abigail. Cam hopes he does not really believe that. Chad gasps he does not but demands his file. He orders Cam to keep his silence and not breathe a word of this to Abigail or his father or anyone! He does not want them to worry for nothing and now looks forward to proving him wrong! Cam sincerely hopes he will do it too.
Exit Chad. He ends up outside the Brady pub alone, his file in hand, a faraway look in his eye. Colorful Abigail arrives and cheerfully asks for
an update on his appointment. Chad lies it was all good, there was nothing much. He claims to be in a hurry to catch up with a contractor and does not let her come with. Abigail stares, not sure what to make of his brush off.
- JJ is with Theresa at the park. The moment of truth has come. He takes out the tube of coke, which has evidently come apart in his pocket. The white dust is a mess. Theresa is not impressed. JJ suggests they can still salvage it. The older girl snaps she has her standards. He bitterly claims it is her fault,for she initially blew him off for her so-called date. She retorts it was no random date, it was with a real man! JJ wants to know the identity of her real man. She scoffs.
- Anne taunts Jen for her PR mess with Dan, with whom she is on again off again. Maxine is trying to be a matchmaker and Kayla is obsessing about it. Jen rages she is the one who is obsessing. Anne leers now that she and Dan are done, there will be no more special treatment. Brady arrives and hopes all is well. Anne storms off. Brady thinks he knows what her problem is. The woman has not had sex since the 1920s. Jen giggles and wonders why he is really there. To talk Kristen! They head to the house and Brady admits he loves Kristen. Jen knows and is curious whether he told her. He did. She exclaims then he should not be here
with her! Brady stammers she said she had to work. He sips his tea and confesses he sensed something. She was keeping a secret and he wishes he knew what. He used to find her elusive manner alluring. But now it
fills him with dread ...
- Dan and Eric walk and talk at the town square. It seems Mason found traces of blood which could belong to Eric in the room. In addition, there may have been traces of a drug present, which later metabolized. Next they must check if the blood is Eric’s. In addition, the forensics man is planning to run the prints he found. If anyone with a criminal record was inside that room, they will soon know about it!
- Mason tries to explain to wacky Mrs. Winston that he is a forensics
man. He turns away to get her the names of other investigators she could use. Kristen seizes her chance. She spills the coffee pot on the Eric file. He yells noooooo and tries without success to save it. He wants her to
just go. Kristen turns to leave but her great escape is not possible. She stops in her tracks when she perceives Dan and Father Eric outside the office, deep in conversation as they get closer and closer. Time to think fast!
- Nicole has returned to the rectory. Father Matt awaits and wants a
word. He reminds her of the bad publicity from Sami. He already assured Eric it did not reflect poorly on him. However, there could be yet another scandalous problem! Nicole gulps.
- Kristen suddenly pretends she needs the ladies room. Mason explains where the door is. She runs in and locks it. Mason bangs on the door as Dan and Eric walk into his office.
- Abigail notes Cam’s unfriendly demeanor when she sees him at the hospital. He suggests a raincheck on their lunch. She brings up Chad’s appointment. He excuses himself to a meeting. Abigail stares.
- Chad is on his phone at the town arch, demanding an appointment with the specialist right away. The specialist's schedule is booked until Chad gives his full name as Chad DiMera!
- Father Matt solemnly informs Nicole that there can be no hints of impropriety at the church. She understands. He reminds her his offer to hear her confession is there should she need it and and walks out. Nicole stands by a cross, her eyes filled with guilt.
- Jen asks Brady what he means. He has a sinking feeling that Kristen is not being honest with him again. Jen woefully agrees if that is what he feels, he is probably right!
- Eric and Dan learn the evidence has been ruined. Dan gasps how
could it have happened? Mason grumbles they should ask the lady in
there.They stare at the locked door and she flinches inside. Kristen is finally CORNERED (picture above)!
