Abigail is handed the envelope with the REAL test results ... Shirtless Paul assumes the knocking on his hotel room door is room service and opens it to none other than diva Kate, who walks in with work news. She does a double-take when Derek emerges clad in a towel and grins wickedly. Paul plays it cool, wanting to keep everything professional ... At the house of Kiriakis, Justin feels Victor needs to be briefed on the gay bashers attacking his favorite nephew. Sonny disagrees with dragging out the drama but Justin notes Victor likely already knows. Justin, however, acts surprised Paul was present so Sonny scoffs, sarcastically reminding his father he sent for him to Salem so he would break him and Will up. Justin acknowledges that and apologizes. He sees Sonny and Will have been working on their relationship and wishes them the best. He was wrong to try and meddle and explains he believed Paul to be better for Sonny as Will was behaving immaturely, whereas Paul had his act together. Sonny softens and forgives his father. He sighs he is saddened by his parents parting company. They share an emotional embrace ... Aiden meets up with manager Rafe at the blue nightclub. The blue light reflects Rafe's current mood as he hands back the movie ticket Aiden had given him. Aiden insists Rafe attend the movie night with him, Hope, Ciara and Chase. The kids were counting on it. Rafe fibs he was unable to find anyone to cover for him ... Hope appears at Will and Sonny's apartment. She has a present for Arianna and high praise for Will, who was there for anxious Abigail in her time of need ... At the club, Ben responds to Chad's request to discuss Abigail with a sneer ... Meanwhile Martin the lab head calls Clyde, stammering about the state of the paternity test. When he admits it was done by another, who gave it Dr. Brady but 5 minutes ago, Clyde threatens to kill him lest he follow his orders to the letter ... Chad now believes he and Ben could have been friends but Ben calls him a jerk. Chad admits he was that when he first came to town though that was then this is now. He appreciates how good Ben has been to Abigail. Ben becomes even more belligerent, believing his competition to be staking some kind of claim on his girl ... Clyde is now on a call with his assassin, ordering him to stand by cos he might require him to do this and make it appear to be an accident ... Martin makes a frantic phone call to Kayla, who has just reminded Abigail that a positive result means Chad is the father of her baby. Martin's call changes everything ... The Fate of the REAL Result! Kate extends a hand to Derek and tells him her name. Paul refuses to introduce his guest so Derek goes in the other room to get dressed. Kate coos about the new name change for the product - Norita by Mad World - needing his signature. Then he can get back to ... Paul would rather not get personal. He scribbles his signature and asks her not to repeat what she saw here. Kate laughs and goes on her smug way, warning him never to assume it is room service at the door until one has checked. She speaks from experience ... Ben blasts Chad for his "Mea culpa" and does not buy the guilt trip. Chad quips he is quite the college boy with the big words. Ben lets him know how he loathes his arrogance ... Devoted Derek comes back with his clothes on ... Paul is tense and quietly curses Kate ... Aiden is amused, assuming Rafe is starting to feel like the fifth wheel. He teases he might find someone in Salem who takes his fancy. Rafe remembers Hope and gets even more distant ... Hope innocently asks Will why Abigail wants to conceal her pregnancy from JJ, mother Jennifer, not to mention Ben. Will remembers her admission that the father could be Ben or Chad and how she swore him to secrecy. He blinks back to Hope and explains she needs more time more space ... Martin calls Clyde with an update. He is going to do the test result again and made sure no one saw the other one. Clyde is pleased as punch and promptly calls off his assassin ... Chad counters that Ben is a fake good old boy. One day Abigail will see him for the kind of guy he really is. Ben boasts she sees him in bed every day and tells him to go to hell ... Derek summons Will to the park and shares the fact that he spent the night with Paul. Will exclaims how AMAZING! Derek notes a lady showed up called Kate, she said she was his boss ... Paul pays a visit to Will and Sonny's apartment. He solemnly informs Sonny he came by to let both him and Will know that Kate found out he spent the night with Derek and they are NOT serious. Sonny questions why he would want to say such a thing ... At the mansion, Kate is in a mood. She doubts Justin is really as keen on Will and Sonny as he claims. Justin appears upbeat about Paul being their spokesperson and now wonders whether Kate repeated anything he said about Clyde to her crooked boyfriend. Kate did not as she has not seen him since they spoke. It seems the coworkers are spending more time together and getting closer by the day ... Ben thunders he was Abigail's choice. Chad thunders that is only because ... then remembers promising to keep their affair a secret. He backs down and gets a troubled look in his DiMera eye. Ben calls him scum for how he treated Abigail as well and Jordan and storms off ... Abigail is crying as she tells Kayla about Ben's proposal. Then she flashes back to Chad's declaration of love and sobs ... Hope arrives at the blue club, hoping busy Rafe will make time to talk about Clyde. She thinks they are a great team. Rafe can barely bring himself to meet her gaze and mutters he does not want to endanger her so that is over and done with. Hope has high hopes he might return to the Salem P.D. in the future ... Aiden receives some information he had not known on the phone about a certain someone. It is an absolute game changer ... Abigail gets a sweet text from Ben as Kayla steps out for the bogus test result. She gets it from Martin and makes for her office again,only to be bumped by Chad, who apologizes and picks up the fallen envelope. Kayla cringes as he happily hands it back ... Derek admits to Will he is not certain whether he and Paul will last long term. He has never been long term with anyone. Will ignores the telling remark and reassures him he has his support. Derek thanks him again for Paul's personal files and walks off. The son of Sami smiles triumphantly ... Sonny encourages Paul to give Derek a chance. Paul points out Derek is not ... Ben and Clyde arrive at the park to meet Aiden, who alludes to Ben hiding something from him, not being entirely honest. Therefore, he is officially cutting all ties with the pair. Clyde fumes he knows he has fought for other questionable characters. Aiden explains his pro bono work does not count when compared to this case and takes his haughty leave. Clyde looks like he wants to strangle him. Hothead Ben is bewildered ... Abigail finally opens the test result, not realizing this one was fixed. It shows negative as Clyde had instructed, thus indicating Ben is the father. Abigail smiles bravely. Kayla is happy for her, happy that she can now forget her Chad mistake. Abigail remembers Chad's declaration of love again ... Paul sadly states he is not ready for a new relationship. Sonny reminds him he was a few months ago. Paul explains that was entirely different as it involved Sonny. Before they can speak any further, Will comes home. Paul departs hanging his head and suggests Sonny fill him in. Will worriedly wonders ... Kate disagrees with digging up dirt on one's paramour. Besides she has been in bed with other devils, namely Stefano and Victor. Justin just wants her not to let her guard down and ignore the danger ... Rafe wishes Hope would walk away. She cannot cos she is a cop. Rafe, however, does walk away and woefully asks her to let herself out. Hope looks as though she has lost her best friend ... Abigail swears Kayla to secrecy until she has shared her news with the family. The girl does her best to keep up appearances with a frozen smile, but falls apart back at her desk, heartbroken over the love she feels she must lose ...Moments later she feels a tender hand upon her shaking shoulder and blinks up at Chad, who gazes into her reddened eyes ...
