Eve listens to JJ's conversation as she walks around outside in the Salem night. She tells herself what a fool he was to go undercover for the DEA to get drug dealer Kyle. She grumbles when Jump Street JJ gushes to Jen that Paige knows he is doing it all for her ... At the Kriakis mansion, Adrienne appears happy as a clam and casually dressed as per Lucas' instructions. He has a surprise planned for their date night but Justin prevents her from departing when he holds up a letter from Sonny ... Woeful Will has met Marlena at the pub to talk. He sighs he has lost Sonny forever because of Paul. Marlena tells him all is not lost and suggests Will wait patiently ... John sits with his son Paul at the park, pleased about the baseballs he signed for the cause, even more pleased they are spending some time together. He asks him about Derek. Paul states he has not spoken with him since there is nothing to say after what Will did. John is sympathetic ... As Ben stares at the big bed, furious his fiancee is not home, Abigail admires another bridal magazine in the square ... At the club, sexy Serena slurs she should stop drinking scotch. Chad laughs and lets her have another. When she voices her concern over getting home, he explains he has a limo. She continues to enjoy his drunken company and 20-year old scotch as they drown their sorrows together. Chad continues to pour on the drinks and the charm. But Clyde has his eye on them from the bar ... Paige cannot stop thinking about what JJ said to her when last they spoke. She is all alone at the square ... JJ is on a park bench, waiting for a call from Kyle. He senses something is amiss ... Kyle is polite when Eve shows up at his door. She wants to come in and gets straight to the point. JJ is working for the cops. Kyle would need proof so she plays the recording in which JJ reveals to Jen he is undercover with the DEA and even told Paige. Kyle has serious doubts and finds it off that Eve would rather go after JJ than the drug dealer she thinks her daughter is dating. He points out JJ might even have been covering to his mother ... Serena heads to the ladies room again. At the bar Clyde gets a call and asks his man what he's got for him, Back at the table Chad daydreams about Abigail declaring her love for him and the fact that he is the father of their baby. The magical moment ends in a kiss. Serena returns and Chad blinks back to reality. She suspects he is sad about something. He smiles he must have missed her is all ... At the hospital Hope, Aiden, Victor, Maggie, Julie and Doug descend upon Caroline. Kayla approves when she is asked to join the ladies in the big bicentennial planning. Hope proudly announces Aiden has an incredible idea ... Abigail heads home to Ben, who is relieved when she shows him her bridal magazines. Ben is in the mood and she smiles she wants it slow. He is happy to oblige as a sexy song plays in the background ... Will laments to Marlena the loss of Sonny has hit Ari as well, for she was just asking where daddy was ... Paul sighs to John he feels so badly for sleeping with Sonny's husband when he did not know who Will really was. He calls John dad and praises him for his support, which Brady appreciates as well. John gets a tear in his eye and tells his son he wished he knew him sooner. The talk turns to baseball, a safer topic ... Back at Kiriakis mansion, Adrienne and Justin discuss Sonny's letter. He believes he made the right decision to go out of Salem though he misses Ari and Will. Adrienne alludes to at times doubting her own decision to end her marriage and joins Lucas outside for their date. Justin later ends up at the nightclub alone ... Not one to give up, Eve calls the press with the dirt on Jen, whom she claims is covering up that her son is still dealing drugs. She exclaims no it is NOT a crank call ... Will agrees with Marlena the emotional healer about giving Sonny time to decide. She suggests time apart can lead to small steps and a reconciliation, as she has recently experienced with her man John ... Back at the park, Paul loves learning how John watched one of his big games, unaware his son was the pitcher. John gets glum about missing the chance to play ball with his boy. Paul smiles it is not too late and tosses him the signed ball ... Chad keeps the scotch flowing like water and sneaks a kiss from Serena as Clyde stares ... Lucas and Adrienne have a lot of laughs at the park, having just bungee jumped together. Adrienne admits her divorce has been hard as hell but she wants to LIVE and experience all life has to offer with Lucas ... Aiden meekly mentions his idea of a digital scrapbook of Salem, with 200 years of pictures, interviews, and more. A copy will be placed in the town time capsule. Caroline is convinced to help with the history. A costume party is also planned, plus carriage rides. Caroline is IN. Kayla thinks it is just what the matriarch needs, for her memory too ... Paige is silently walking through the square when Eve stops her. She knows about the danger she is risking by being near undercover JJ and the drug dealer he is after. She implores her not to put herself in such danger cos Kyle could go after JJ. Paige scoffs it is her life and she likes it. Then she walks away ... Kyle has summoned Jump Street JJ to his apartment. He takes out his gun and tells him he needs to know more about his new hire, how he thinks, before he gets him more involved. JJ brags the town is his cos he has contacts also with the Salem P.D., from his Aunt Hope to family friend Abe Carver. Kyle looks ready to blow, but decides he wants JJ involved in the daily running of his business AFTER he does something to prove himself ... JJ's Deadly Task! Aiden gets Hope out into the hall for a kiss. He praises her for letting him and Chase become part of her life and promises a surprise. Hope cannot wait. All he will say is that he is making his own contribution to the big celebration in store ... At the square Will walks past Paul, purposely ignoring him. Paul wishes he would wait. Will scoffs he was the one who screwed up his life. Paul snaps Sonny is gone and suggests they live their separate lives. Will looks ready to explode ... Doug and Julie ask Hope to return to Caroline's room. Once alone, Aiden admires the ring in his pocket that could rival Princess Diana's engagement ring. He has big plans ... He now gets a call from his secret boss and admits he could use another advance. He insists he is doing the job he was given since he got to Salem - to get Hope Brady! He is positive Bo will not pose a problem ... In the afterglow, Ben gushes to Abi how much it means to him that he is finally having a family of his own with her. Abigail is touched and they kiss ... Justin is alone at the nightclub when Eve slinks in. He picks up one of her fallen items and she makes her move, offering to buy the lone lawyer a drink like strangers in the night. Justin ends up with Eve at his table. The background banshee that follows her around moans Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .... Chad and Serena finally stop kissing. She gasps about his good skill and he suggests they be niiiiiice to each other, the rest of Salem be damned. Serena thinks it is best not to do anything rash in her inebriated state and stands up to leave. Chad roguishly reaches for her and grabs her into another kiss on his lap. Serena angrily slaps him so hard his lip bleeds. She screams no means no and storms off. Chad stands up and angrily staggers out after her. Clyde calmly remains at the bar, plotting his next sinister move ... THE END! Ahead on Days: VICTIM NUMBER ONE! |
