At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady assures terrified-acting Theresa that he called the cops. Zander protests but Brady does not believe he was set up by the schemer ... As Serena hands over the certified check for 250 thousand dollars as ordered by the court, Nicole cackles and taunts her for being broke. Eric is appalled by her behavior ... At the club, Chad seems to say farewell to Abigail's face from his phone and then puts it down. Belligerent Ben approaches the drunken DiMera ... At the pub Abigail tells Will her story about Chad standing up to Stefano for her. Will thinks that is amazing and dares her to admit she is in love with Chad ... Rafe gingerly approaches Detective Hope at the police station, pointing out he just put in his papers for reinstatement. She plays it cool, then erupts with excitement, giving the big guy a hearty hug. Rafe blushes ... Meanwhile Aiden is on a mysterious call in his office. But this is not the Aiden that Hope knows and loves. This is a smirking smooth talker ... Aiden and his Money Mystery! Hope is happy Rafe the good cop is almost back. He spies her Clyde file on her desk and wonders. She grins even Abe got nothing on Clyde and neither did she YET ... Back at his office Aiden is peeved about having to let Clyde have a pass and shreds his file including his picture ... Chad starts to slur about not taking Abigail for granted cos he knows her better than anyone. Ben gets irate so Clyde comes and carts him off to a table. He advises his boy to steer clear of the dangerous DiMeras but Ben is still smarting from the fact that Abigail lied about her secret meeting with Chad the cad at the mansion. After Clyde tries to convince him he was the winner, Ben growls about her sneaking out to secretly see Chad and lying to him about it ... Eric accuses Nicole of not changing, of being as money-grubbing and vindictive as ever. Nicole appears hurt and suggests he always thinks the worst of her. Then she leaves with the certified check ... Eric explains away her fury from the bad memories. He concludes he and Serena can never really be friends again and should keep their distance. Serena cries and goes on her woeful way, not a penny to her disgraced name ... Brady and Zan face off and the fury escalates. Theresa tries to keep them apart. Victor makes his dramatic entrance and demands an explanation. Upon learning Theresa was attacked, he gets sarcastic about the flower and orders everyone out except for Zander, that is ... Aiden is done shredding Clyde's file when Hope finds him. She promises to get the perp who pounded his handsome face. He smoothly states he is moving on ... Serena slinks into the club, sits in the seat next to Chad, and hollars for a scotch. There is no one to serve her so Chad suavely reaches for the bottle and pours her one on the house. And another and another ... Abi claims she is merely concerned about Chad, given the fury of the phoenix she heard. It was scary. Will notes not even the son of Stefano is safe from his wrath. Abigail gushes she now gets how much Chad loooooves her ... Theresa praises Brady for his actions in the pretty garden. She shakes and shivers she was to blame. Brady's male instincts make him want to hold and protect her. Theresa was counting on it and smiles slyly in his strong arms... Back in the big house, Alexandros accuses Theresa of being a lying scheming slut. Victor takes it all in stride, sighing it seems motherhood did not change her, and helps himself to a stiff drink. He reminds Alexandros he too is a bloody lout and liar who does not deserve his help. Alexandros plays the family card again but this time the Greek gives him no more chances. He rages he is rotten like his father and a disgrace to the family ... Nicole summons Dan to the park for her big news. But first he gets a text from Chloe with a Parker picture. He then praises her for being a great mother. Now what was her news? ... Hope flirts with Aiden and finds herself in his arms as they start to kiss. In walks Rafe ... Will now believes that Ben is the best choice for Abigail after all, as she can count on him, without the threat of Stefano the evil mafioso and land-hungry father from hell looming over Chad. He tells her to trust in Ben and laments not totally trusting Sonny led to him possibly losing him ... Dan the medicine man is called to the hospital for a consult so Nicole heads to the square. She remembers Eric's words and wanders around, only to see two ads for charities, one being for the Horton Center. She sighs and realizes she knows what she must do ... Rafe apologizes for the interruption. He came about Gabi. Aiden thinks it looks promising for her hearing for she is an exemplary prisoner. Hope smiles she hopes she gets out and grateful Rafe grins. Hope gives them their privacy. Aiden lets Rafe know he approves of him returning to the force but can he keep his feelings for Hope in check? Rafe stares in surprise, then tells him he has nothing to worry about. Aiden grins that is good cos he intends to ask for her hand in marriage ... Serena and Chad are now both drunk, still downing the straight scotch. She gushes about him being a DiMera but he drawls he was disowned on this day. She can relate as her relationship with her faraway mother is almost nonexistent ... As Ben watches Chad with the new girl, Clyde claims he was in a foul mood after meeting Abigail at the mansion, so his boy must still be winning. He pushes Ben to go to her and make nice ... Serena and Chad now drink to screwing up ... Abigail is alone at the park about to text Chad, to make sure he is alright, given the wrath of Stefano but stops when Ben appears. She is happy to see him but big Ben senses something. She dismisses his concern and claims she wants to shop a bit. She sweetly smiles she will see him when she gets home and leaves him standing alone. Ben is ready to explode ... The police are at the Kiriakis mansion. Theresa gives her statement about being attacked, supported by what Brady saw. No one listens to angry Alexandros, who is cuffed and hauled off for assault and attempted rape. Victor laughs tis the time to call legal aid ...Zanimal is led away in disgrace ... Dan and Nicole now meet at the nightclub for a martini and catch up. He replies Eric was wrong when she brings up his disapproval of her getting the funds from Serena. She explains she did the right thing by using the blood money for a good cause, giving it all to a charity that helps the homeless. However, she has an idea for a new business she is planning. That is what she intends to use any money from Zander for ... Serena excuses herself to the ladies room. Clyde steps up and starts to taunt Chad about his latest little friend. Chad warns him to get lost. Serena slinks back ... Theresa and Brady stand outside, having watched Alexandros being carted off. She coos she wants to buy him dinner to show her gratitude. Brady arrogantly announces he knew she would want to use this situation to her advantage and leers to leave him alone. As far as he is concerned this changes nothing for their relationship. Theresa is left standing alone again ... Dan and Nicole drink to their big dreams ... Back at the station, Hope smiles while she works. An officer enters, enthusiastic about the possible return of her partner Rafe. They were almost as great a pair as her and the legendary Bo Brady. Hope gets to thinking ... Serena cannot help but notice how much Chad hates Clyde, who has left them alone. They decide to get to know one another and get to the next glass of scotch.
