She glumly wishes Will felt the same way. He will talk to him. She thanks him for being there for her, not giving up on her. Replay of the passionate kiss just as Kate arrives. "Oh my God!" she says about the very public display. - As he walks under the arch, Rafe leaves a phone message asking Nicole to call him. He is a tad worried since she has not been picking up ... - Kate cannot believe her eyes and tells Lucas he now needs a booster shot! She starts to call Sami names but Lucas makes her stop. Sami is pleased she is so irked. Kate goes on and leers underestimating Sami is like underestimating radioactive waste. She accuses Sami of ruining her marriages and sucking the unsuspecting Lucas in yet again. Lucas cannot get her to stop. Kate warns him Sami always moves on and has used him so many times! She cries and yells she is like a drug and alters his reality, but hurts him every time. She snaps at him to go back to his fiancée. He snaps she dropped him. Kate implores him to just leave town and warns Sami she will not let her hurt her son again. Sami smirks and calls her a sl*t and a hypocrite. Her cheating on Stefano is what cost Lucas his job. She laughs she is the first person to be booted out of the DiMera clan for her lack of morality. And there is more! Lucas thinks now is not the time, but Sami is on a roll. She blurts out that she and Lucas are now running Countess W together and they plan to bury her and Madison! Kate begs Lucas to say it is not true. He admits it is, but insists it is not a betrayal. She laments it is, though she understands as he has children to support. Sami gets snarky and Kate leers she will lose going up against her. The insults fly. Lucas intervenes. Kate declares this is far from over and walks to the pub to drown her sorrows ... - Miffed Madison meets lawyer Justin at the pub and informs him he will be her divorce lawyer. She orders him to push it through quickly and make sure things with her company are perfect. Ian is making it too easy and she needs to proceed with caution. Justin takes it all in and notes they do not seem to trust one another. Madison wants a fast divorce to force his hand and stop him in his tracks. She wants to rattle his cage, perhaps by contesting his hiring of Kate. Justin advises her that there was nothing incorrect with that and thinks she should not rattle any cages. He leaves to start the divorce proceedings and grins it should prove to be an interesting case. - At the mansion, Stefano ominously orders his flunky on the phone to contact him as soon as the mission has been executed. - Bo and Hope kiss on the sofa as they are observed through the window. The watcher boldly comes around to the front of the house and places a hand on the doorknob. - Marlena has a knife to her throat. The thug wants the coin. John wants him to let her go. Roman arrives with Carrie, gun drawn, and warns the thug holding Marlena hostage to drop the knife. John whispers to take him. Roman whispers he cannot get a shot. John looks ready to pounce. He makes eye contact with the blonde, who stomps on the bad guy's foot and elbows him. He doubles over for a few seconds. She rushes toward John. The thug takes off and gets away. John comes back to his wife. Marlena gasps it was thanks to his training that she got free. John drawls this is precisely why he wanted protection. Marlena becomes worried about Hope and Bo. They too could be targeted! John and Carrie take her to a bench to catch her breath. John updates Roman that Stefano just sent him a warning - unless he returned the coin, someone would die. Roman points out there is no proof, but he will have the ISA take them all to a protected place. Roman adds that one Agent Harmon works for Agent Spencer and he let them know DiMera plans to take care of all his enemies. Rafe has been sent to warn Bo and Hope ... - Bo has his gun drawn and opens the door to ... Rafe! He was not the one who rattled the doorknob, though. Hope realizes this is no social call. Rafe updates them on Marlena being attacked by a thug with a knife and they all go inside. The watcher is back at the window. Rafe explains Roman would like them to join John and Marlena at a safe house. Bo thinks it is a good idea. Hope agrees, as Ciara is already with his mother and they will be going on a church trip too. Ciara needs to be safe. They all do until they bring down this bastard for good! - Stefano is on the phone, smug that the gang assumed his fake attack on Marlena was real. Now they will know he is serious about wanting the coin back! "Do exactly as you have been instrrrrructed!" he reminds his man. He also wishes to be kept informed at every step. - At the pub, Kate orders a martini. Madison comes up beside her with a greeting. Kate sighs just when she thought her day could not get any worse. - Roman has received word that Bo and Hope are on board. He informs John and Marlena that they will only be able to take a few belongings with them to the safe house. Agent Harmon now arrives. He has been with the DiMera case for years. John remarks the phoenix has never been so desperate. Harmon leads the way to the safe house. John is sorry, but Marlena smiles bravely and points out at least they will be together. That is all that matters! - Lucas now wants to talk to Sami about their relationship, never mind Kate. "What about us?" he wonders. She replies she is glad he is staying.
