| Friday, April 22, 2011 up by 5:08 pm est April 21 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Hearts, Tarts, and Head Starts! - Chloe is on the phone at the Brady pub, with her suitcases. She would like to renew the lease on her old unit. No such luck. There are no other vacancies either. She ends the call somewhat disheartened. Things are about to go from bad to worse. There stands arch enemy Kate, her eyes flashing."Homeless?!" Chloe retorts she will find a place. Kate suggests the streets, where she belongs. She taunts that Victor kicked her to the curb. Chloe stands up to her and calls her the worst of the people who have been cruel to her. Furthermore, she has no right to judge her! Kate is mad that she forced Phillip to leave town and take his boy as far from his mentally ill mother as he could. Chloe points out she set her up. Kate points out she drunk dialed her. Chloe looks her in the eye and warns she will not get away with what she did to her. Not this time! Kate cackles what can she do to her. Chloe reminds her she tried to poison her. Kate reminds her that ship sailed ages ago. No proof. Chloe accuses her of convincing her to stop taking her anti-depressants just to make her panic. Now, however she is back on the meds and feeling strong. "You go girl!" sarcastically leers Kate. If she is so much better, why was she drinking? Since she came to Salem, all she has done is ruin people's lives and make a fool of herself. Chloe insists she learns from her mistakes. "Blah blah blah!" says Kate. She haughtily tells Chloe that she will always be alone and waltzes out. Chloe looks ready to cry. - Maggie rushes into the Kiriakis mansion, asking if Victor has any word on the missing kids. Negative. The Greek tycoon wistfully recalls the last time Ciara was over for dinner, she gave him a big hug and said she loved him. He and Maggie hug. He is most grateful she came by and pours her a coffee. The redhead points out they have each other. Victor wonders if they really do. Despite the time they have been spending together, he is still not sure whether they are actually dating. Maggie sighs she is indeed conflicted. Vic understands she is grieving, though Mickey would not want her to be lonely. He would certainly want her to have someone who appreciates her for the gem she is. Maggie realizes he is right. Vic looks into her eyes and notes she almost sounded like they were a couple. "Are we?" Maggie wonders if they need to define spending time together. She cannot call them a couple yet, even though they have been through much together. Vic calls her important in every aspect of his life. He could not have gotten through these times without her. Maggie now understands the need to define what they are. She smiles she wants to be .... "Yes, we are a couple!" They kiss. He drawls she means the world to him. She thinks the same of him and marvels she never knew she could have these feelings again, and get over the guilt of letting go of Mickey. She explains at the beginning, she used to imagine Mickey being jealous. She then concluded she would have wanted Mickey to find someone if she had gone first. Vic thinks Mickey was a lucky man. Maggie thinks she is lucky too. Her Greek guy has a soft heart, is funny, charming, and makes her feel beautiful, young at heart, and cherished. He roguishly replies she is all of those things ... - At the hospital, Dario interrupts the Mel/Brady embrace and hands Mel her tea. He bitterly states he is glad to see she is in good hands and walks away. Brady wants to know what happened. Mel starts to tell him. Brady gets mad to hear Dario's name in the equation. He assumes he is the one who put her in the dangerous predicament, by pushing her to offer the reward money. - At the Cheatin Heart, Rafe 2 drinks his beer and speaks angrily to the mechanic, who has not fixed his car. He is anxious to blow the pop stand that is Salem before they put Fay in the ground. Dario now calls him and announces he knows who killed her. Rafe 2 fears he means Fay. He is relieved to hear he was referring to Arianna. Dario explains he caught the guy when he tried to kill Mel. He is in the hospital in a coma. Dario wants his bro to come down and question the creep when or if he wakes up. He hopes he is still in town. Rafe 2 lies he is long gone. Dario exclaims he found the guy who killed their sister. Rafe 2 quips that will not bring her back. Dario talks justice. He will be at the hospital all night. Rafe 2 claims he is unable to come back. Dario is exasperated. Rafe 2 lies he will see what he can do and ends the call. Time to put a fire under the mechanics. As he starts to walk out of the bar, a woman in a dress enters and coos it is too bad he is departing. They could have had a lot of fun together! Rafe 2 back steps and gives her the eye. She is Alicia. He introduces himself as Javier. She whispers she likes that he seems cocky. He murmurs he likes her. He gets them each a whisky. She wonders why he is alone, without a girl. Cos no one is as hot as her! Alicia smiles she feels really comfortable with him and wants to go somewhere they can be alone. She has no place as she is just visiting. Rafe agrees they can go to his place. "Lead the way," grins the Cheatin heart tart and they walk out together. Outside, they stop and start to neck. - Meanwhile, real Rafe flashes back to getting the ink out of all the blue pens. Someone approaches the door of his white room. Rafe is strong and ready. The usual handler enters to get the food tray, explaining this is his last day on the job. The new guy starts tonight. Rafe hands him another dish. Exit the handler. Rafe takes the BLUE hospital outfit out from under his pillow and proceeds to put it on. He has also lifted an access card from the handler. Once dressed, he kisses the key around his neck and tells it to get him back to where he came from.Then he uses the access card to open the door and turns off the lights. "Stop!" says a voice. Tis the new hire, Rick, surprised the other guy has not checked out yet. - Back at the hospital, Brady spots Dario and approaches him with anger in his eyes. He assumes he is to blame for Mel almost getting killed. He shoves him until Dan breaks it up. Dan hugs his daughter upon hearing what happened. Brady turns his anger back on Dario. Mel steps between them and insists it was her decision to put up the reward. Brady looks through the patient's window and solemnly states he knows that guy. Dario, Dan, and Mel are all ears as he informs them that terrible Troy is a drug dealer. He was Arianna's undercover assignment. once upon a dangerous time. Dan thinks Rafe should get involved. Dario laments he left town and does not care enough to come back. Dan frowns. Brady cannot believe it, as Ari and Rafe were very close. Dario gets sarcastic. Mel takes him aside for a word. Dan thanks Brady for being protective of his daughter. Brady declares he will never let anyone ever hurt her again. Dan plans to get the place alarmed immediately. But Brady doubts that will be enough ... Meanwhile, Mel wants Dario to go easy on Brady, but Dario calls him the guy who broke his sister's heart. She should steer clear of him! Mel does not appreciate being told what to do. Dario explains he cares about her. She should not blow her second chance on the wrong guy. Like Brady or ... Or him, she wonders. Exactly! He warns her not to come crying to him if it goes to hell and walks off. Mel pouts. Brady sees Dario coming back and wants to know what happened to Mel. He saunters off to talk to her, leaving Dario to deal with papa Dan, who wants to talk to him! Brady approaches Mel and insists she come home with him tonight. She should not be alone at the apartment. Mel points out Phil resides at the mansion. She is stunned to hear he just left with Parker. Brady solemnly repeats she must be somewhere safe tonight. "And that is with me!" - Kate enters the mansion and quips at Victor that she did not know he had company! Maggie decides she is leaving and asks Victor to call her if he hears anything about Ciara or Theo. He promises to do just that. Exit the smiling redhead. Victor offers Kate a drink and wonders if she has spoken to Phil. Yes, and his apartment in Chicago has a great view. They both agree it is best for Chloe to be far away from Phillip. Vic hopes they will not hear from the b*tch again. Kate toasts to that. She hopes that the Greek tycoon does not mind how she set her up. He apparently does not. Kate wonders if she has any friends in town. He doubts it but if someone takes pity on her, they can go to hell. "Any friend of Chloe's is an enemy of mine!" - Rafe 2 enters the loft with his pickup and gets them drinks. She spies the framed photograph of him with the blond and the kids. He calls the kids his nieces and nephews. They are out of town and elsewhere at the moment. That means they have the place to themselves. She is all over him like a wet blanket and he kisses her back. The clothes start to come off. He now gets the call he has been waiting for about his car. Alicia the tart kisses his neck as he learns the car is ready. He now drawls to the mechanic he will be there later, cos "Something came UP!" Shirtless faux Rafe ends the call and gets back to the action with his cheap date on the couch ... - Chloe drags her luggage to the pier and flashes back to her almost suicide. Maggie comes around the corner and finds her in tears. Chloe cries that Phillip took Parker. Kate is right. She has nothing! Maggie is dismayed to hear that and refuses to leave her alone. No hotel, She is coming home with her! Chloe is unsure Victor would approve. Maggie thinks he will have to deal with it and helps her with her luggage. Chloe gratefully goes with her. - Back at the hospital, Dario is surprised when Dr. Dan thanks him for saving Mel and offers to help him if he needs it. Hothead Dario advises him to let Troy die. Dan shakes his head. Brady and Mel come along. She is going to the mansion with him and hugs pap Dan before departing. Dario darkly watches after them. - At the asylum, the new guy starts to enter Rafe's old room. Rafe stops him and pretends the patient is sleeping. The new guy is sorry and walks away. Rafe reaches for the key around his neck to give him strength and quietly kisses it. Now he is on his way ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "The way I see it, you’re nothing but a bum!" Dario tells shirtless Rafe 2 "When are you going to stop this, Chloe?" asks Mel. "If you take her in, you won't see me anymore!" threatens Victor. Maggie's mouth falls open in disbelief. |
