She will call when she has anything. Bo races in, out of breath, and declares they may have found Ciara! A woman in the Freemont area saw a girl matching her description. Hope urges him to go there. He exits, hoping he will be able to bring their daughter home. - Jen and Dan are outside busily posting notices of Ciara and Theo. Jen is pumped. Dr. Dan advises Matlock to slow down, as she just had heart surgery. Jen realizes she is a tad weak so he takes her inside the pub. He fusses over her and hopes his concern is okay. Their eyes lock. Jennifer thinks his concern is endearing and they sit at a table together. Pretty Adrienne and Justin are also at their own table, observing the chemistry in action! Dan gets Jen a cheeseburger and makes her take smaller bites. They should talk, so she does not wolf down the burger. They cannot decide who should talk first, though. Dan states the first time he saw her, he felt she looked familiar, like they had crossed paths before. Jen thinks that is doubtful and takes another bite of her burger. Dan wonders if he ever saw her in a picture. Jen teases it was on the cover of Vogue. He replies she could be, as she is beautiful. Oops! Jen now admits she feels herself blushing. Dan grins it is a good color on her. She blushes again! Adrienne and Justin approach their table. The newlyweds are soon sorry to hear of Ciara and Theo running away.No one has seen them. Adrienne asks about Hope. Justin asks what they can do. Dan announces he needs Adrienne to do something. He wants her to take care of Jen, who requires some rest. He and Justin head out to get back to the search. Alone with Jen, Adrienne notes she has been blushing since Dan touched her arm. Jen denies it. Adrienne smiles and wonders what is going on. Jen attempts to change the topic. Adrienne gets back to her chemistry with Dan and adds Justin bore witness to it, too. Jen reminds her she is married to her brother. Adrienne reminds her she is getting a divorce and all Jack cares about is his "walkabout thingy." She loves her brother, but alas he has no sense. "Honestly, I really think you should move on ..." Like with a nice handsome doctor! Jen considers. Perhaps her children do not want to see their mother moving on. Adrienne points out they have already accepted the dissolution of her marriage to Jack. Besides, Daniel could make her happy. Jennifer admits he is a great guy. However, she would rather not discuss this anymore. Adrienne just wants to mention how great he is. Jen states he would be good for Carly. Adrienne disagrees. He is attracted to Jen! "Open your heart, sweetheart. Let it happen ..." - Dan and Justin are down at the pier putting up pictures of the missing kids. Justin is glad Jen has Dan to lean on. Dan changes the subject, then admits he has a rotten track record with women and does not want to mess up Jen's life. Besides, she is trying to play Cupid for him and Carly, though there is nothing there. - At the hospital, Carly walks around with her shaking hands. A fellow doctor is surprised to see her there again. She explains she just wanted to see if there was anything on the two missing kids. Negative, but he will keep her posted. Carly walks away and heads to the supply room, where she is tense and seems to be experiencing withdrawal. She thinks of Bo and reminds herself to concentrate so she can help find Ciara. Someone calls her name so she hastily grabs some pills from a bottle and swallows them. She later runs into the handsome African-American doctor again. He asks if she was in the supply room earlier. She denies it. - At the Cheatin Heart, Rafe 2 is miffed his car broke down. As soon as it is fixed, he is out of Salem. Stefano can find some other schmuck to kill the guy in the photo (Troy, the former DiMera drug dealer). Brady sits down with a drink and demands to know why he drove sister Sami out of town. Rafe 2 drinks his beer and suggests he ask Sami. Brady drawls she must have felt threatened. He wants an explanation. Rafe 2 drawls he must be a bad person, just like him! Brady gets it, but he had a reason to change. What was his reason? Rafe 2 is later on his phone, angrily ordering the mechanic to just fix his car already. Brady realizes he is leaving town. Rafe 2 claims he just wants to leave for a while and clear his head. Brady steps away to take a work call and keeps drinking. Rafe 2 muses he will never have to see Sami and her brats again! - At the apartment, Troy lies on the floor unconscious. Dario consoles Mel, who numbly informs him that is the same guy who killed Arianna. He admitted it to her moments ago! Dario looks at him and listens to Mel's tale. He suddenly jumps up, calls Troy a son of a b*tch, and then attacks him like a maniac, choking him. Mel pulls him off, but ends up falling on top of Dario! He wants to know why she did that. She does not want him to go to jail. He touches her face and reminds her the killer could have killed her. Mel does not want Dario to go to prison. Besides, Troy will now be locked up for life. Dario mutters the scum does not deserve to live. She whispers but HE does ... - EJ and Taylor stop kissing when Nicole knocks on the totaled car, worriedly calling out their names! EJ tells "sweetheart" he is fine. The kissing in-laws exclaim not to open the door as Taylor wipes her lipstick from his face. As they clean off EJ's face, Tay points out her foot is stuck. Sirens are heard approaching. EJ suggests Nicole back away from the crashed car. Nicole steps back, implores EJ to take care of her sister, and emotionally tells them she loves them both. "Oh God," sighs guilt-ridden Tay. - Bo returns to the house to pick up a photo of Ciara. On his way out, he runs into woeful Carly at the front door. Her eyes glazed,she dramatically declares she wants to help and hugs him tight. Hope enters the room and stares. Bo says this is not a good time. Carly hugs her too and asks what she can do. She nervously takes Bo and Hope by the hand and cries about the nightmare. She gasps she will do whatever she can. Enter Dan and Justin. Bo explains he might have a lead. Carly yells Ciara has to be safe! Dan steps forward and suggests he and Carly leave now. He escorts her out, aware that her behavior is off. Outside, he asks her what is going on and looks her in the eye. She claims she is great. He insists she is not and he knows why! He walks her to a bench at the pier. He assumes she is losing it as she has her son and Lawrence on her mind. Carly collapses in tears. Dan thinks she should open up to him and her other friends about this. Carly thanks him for everything and impulsively kisses him on the mouth. At that very moment, unbeknownst to the liplocked docs, Jen comes around the corner and stares in disbelief! Back at the house, Adrienne arrives. Bo gets a call from the station. Bad news. The girl was not Ciara. He reassures Hope, who vows her daughter will come home. - At the Chicago hospital waiting area, Taylor is walking with her taped ankle as Nicole happily greets her. She is fine. They await EJ together. Nicole points out she was pretty shaken up. Tay points out she and EJ came out of the car wreck alright. It is a good thing Nicole was not there. Nicole brings up how she read her letter to mama Fay for inspiration to help write her own. She asks what she meant when she wrote to Fay that she never intended for something to happen! Tay cannot believe she read her private letter. Nicole is sorry but presses. Just what did she regret happening? Taylor claims she regretted coming to Salem, as their mother would not have come to town and moved into the mansion with them. Nicole does not blame her for anything. EJ elegantly enters and states it is his fault. He and Nicole embrace. Tay hastily enlightens him. She was referring to the letter she wrote, as she felt responsible for Fay's fall. EJ now pretends he was referring to the accident. Nicole wonders why they are both acting so darn guilty. They have nothing to feel badly about. She heads off to find a phone to call Harold not to pick them up at the airport. They will not be home tonight. Once she has departed. Taylor snaps at EJ that as of now, whatever they had is over! She does not wish to destroy her sister. - At Salem University Hospital, Dario and Mel give a police officer their statement. The cop promises they will make the perp talk if he wakes up. Inside his hospital room, as a doctor asks if he can hear him, Troy starts to convulse. The doc later emerges and explains he is in a coma. Dario blames himself. The doctor clarifies. The patient is going through serious drug withdrawal. The cop takes notes. Dario laments if the creep does not wake up, they will never find out what really happened. He thanks Mel for stopping him when he tried to attack the guy. She thanks him for saving her life and smiles she was returning the favor. Their eyes lock. He places his jacket around her shoulders and decides to get some tea. Mel stares through the window at the unconscious Troy and calls him a piece of trash. She feels a hand on her shoulder and jumps. Tis a very concerned Brady. He holds her in his arms, tells her she is fine now, and kisses her on the head. Dario walks back with the tea. His face falls upon witnessing the tender scene ... - Down at the pier, Dan asks Carly what that kiss was all about. She does not know, her eyes still glazed. Jen is nowhere to be seen. Dan notices Carly's eyes are not focusing, but then gets a call. Carly flashes back to popping the pills in the supply room. She realizes she took the wrong drugs, which is why she is flying as high as a kite! - Back in Chicago, Tay insists to EJ they are over regardless of what he says, and storms out. "Maybe not," he mutters hopefully to himself. "Maybe not ..." Next on Days of Our Lives Friday Preview 1: "You need to be somewhere safe tonight and that is with me!" Brady informs Mel. Friday Preview 2: Rafe 2 flirts with a toothy floozy. "I like you," he whispers. Friday Preview 3: "You're not going to get away with what you've done, Kate," warns Chloe. "Not this time!" |
