CRASH 2 - Kate walks along the pier in her red jacket and matching purse, hoping she finally succeeded in getting Chloe out of her son's life! Victor comes along, notes her slyly pleased demeanor, and wants to know what it is all about. Kate suggests he go home to see and flounces off. - At the Kiriakis mansion, Chloe tries to tell Phil she was drunk but he replays the part of the damning tape where she slurs she would take Parker and run. "Is that what you said!" he demands.Chloe feebly admits it is. Phil is not impressed she was drinking. She tries to excuse why she did it. Phil gives her a dark look and accuses her of trying to make him feel sorry for her yet again! He stepped up for Parker, defended her, and this is how she repays him? Chloe claims it was the alcohol talking. Kate goaded her into saying those things. She cries she knows how much he has done for her. Phil snaps this is about his son. She laments he is her son too. Phil is mad and unforgiving that she tried to use Parker against Kate, just like he was used by Victor and Viv and Kate. He will NOT let that happen to Parker! He points out her pattern of going from man to man, feeling insecure. They have a beautiful son and should change their ways, but now he does not even think she can. Chloe exclaims Parker is a part of her. Phil explains he is his own person, with his own needs. He notes that when she was upset, Chloe did not take a drive. Instead, she got drunk, had words with Mel, and drunk dialed Kate. That is not the kind of thing he wants their son to see. Therefore, he is going to pack his bags as well as Parker's. Chloe bitterly cries where will he take them, to his mother and Stefano's! Negative. He is leaving Salem. He can go anywhere, as Titan has offices worldwide. Chloe follows him to the door (he is holding Parker) and begs him not to leave. Phil reminds her she left the baby out in the cold when she wanted to kill herself. She was all about her. Chloe cries for him not to take her baby. He coldly states she can come visit them, wherever they are. Victor has just returned and spies from around the corner as Phil hands her the baby to say goodbye. Chloe sobs he is all she has and he cannot take her baby away! Phillip suggests she kiss him goodnight. She replies she will never say goodbye! Victor emerges and warns her to do as Phillip says. Chloe kisses her child and hands him to Phillip, crying. Victor is surprised to hear his son is leaving. And disappointed. Phil is going to Chicago. He has decided to grow up and be a man. He will be in touch. Victor will call ahead and have the Titan apartment ready for him. Phil takes his suitcase and walks out, holding Parker, unable to look back. Chloe wails he took her baby from her. Victor wants to talk. Chloe insists she is that baby's mother. "My blood is in his body and Parker needs me as much as I need him!" Victor quips no one needs her anymore. She went through the men in his family like a disease. Thank God Phillip is now saving himself and his son from her. He calls the crying Chloe a tramp. - Carly is having a rough time in surgery and snaps at the other doctor. Moments later, she whips out her bottle, pops a few pills, and leaves, explaining she will be back. She soon returns, and the doc is amazed she is better and still going strong. Once she is done for her shift, she secretly wants more pills but alas has taken them all! Time to go home and sleep. - Jen is at the nurse's station, bribing a printer with concert tickets if only he does her pamphlets fast. The printer agrees. Jen then calls and orders him pizza in thanks. Dan is watching and admiring her technique. PR Jen now flounces off to take balloons to the city council president, who is in one of the rooms. Later Jen and Dan literally bump into each other. They blush. She offers him concert tickets - for him and Carly. Dan starts to say something but gets paged to surgery and must depart. Carly walks up and Jen offers her the Mozart tickets. Carly sighs no thanks, she is beat, and walks away. - Replay of Melanie and her book ending up in a bluish darkness. "Who's there!" She stands up, gets a flashlight, and heads for the fuse box. All of a sudden Troy grabs her from behind. He leers at her for not backing off and angrily admits he did in Ari. Mel struggles, breaks free, and pepper spays his face, running and hiding behind the sofa. Troy winces for a moment, vowing to find and KILL her! Mel jumps up and breaks a vase over his head. Then she races to the door, desperate to escape. - At the loft, Dario must answer caller Nicole's suspicious questions about why Rafe left so suddenly. He drawls he wouldn't tell her anyway, even if he know. At the funeral home, Nicole wonders what is going on. When the priest returns , she complains she had trouble writing the letter. They discuss family and Nicole states she does not know what she would do without her sister Taylor. Once again alone, she laments she still cannot easily write this letter to Fay and decides to read the one her sister wrote, as the envelope was not sealed. "Dear Mom, I'll never forgive myself for disappointing you and I know I did because I know you can tell what was going on in my heart right before I lost you forever ..." Nicole pauses, a frown creasing her brow. Tay goes on to say she did not mean for "it" to happen, but nothing more specific is mentioned. Nicole wonders what she meant. What was not supposed to happen? The priest opens the door. Nicole intends to catch up with EJ and Taylor and departs, glancing back at Fay's picture. The priest will see her at the cemetery. - Unconscious Taylor is lying on unconscious EJ, in the semi-totaled car. He stirs and sits Taylor up, asking if she is alright. He is desperate to make her wake up and be alright. "Say something, sweetheart!" He now bellows for the driver. Tay slowly wakes up and touches his face. EJ holds her close. Her leg is stuck. He kisses her forehead and promises to take care of her, still holding her. The driver is soon heard, apologizing for the swerve. His phone is not working so he will go for help. EJ tells Tay he is not leaving her. They are verrrry close. He confesses that he had feared her dead for a brief moment and in that moment he realized that staying away from each other is pointless. "I can't help but be in love with you! I love you! I love you! I love you ..." He takes her face in his hands. She smiles. They start to kiss passionately. She stops, anxious that someone will come. EJ asks her to for once not stop like that. She kisses him with abandon ... - Back at the apartment, Troy grabs Mel and throws her onto the sofa like a rag doll. Just then Dario bursts in and punches him. Troy lands one in his stomach. Dario groans but then lands a blow that renders Troy unconscious. Once he checks that Mel is alright, he removes the killer's dark mask. Mel gasps she has seen him before. - Back at the hospital, Jen explains to Dan that Carly was not interested in the concert. Dan teases if he spends an evening with a woman, he likes to know there is the possibility of more. Jen blushes and says that is good to know. Ring ring! Tis Hope. Jen is shocked to hear the latest. She tells Dan that Ciara and Theo have run away, and then nervously imagines different scenarios. He calms her down. They decide to go to the meeting being organized at the pub together, to help find the kids ... - Down at the pier, Carly is trying to relax without pills. Maxine comes along with signs for the missing Theo and Ciara. Carly is upset to learn they ran away. She spills the contents of her purse and wants to go to Bo, to comfort him, then realizes she no longer gets to do that. And she does not want them to see her in her present state. Then again, she can do this. All she needs is a little help ... - Phil is at Kate's, to say goodbye with Parker. She hopes he is not going away for long. He solemnly reminds her she put this in motion. He vows to do right by this son. Kate tearfully says he will give Parker so much more than she gave him. They embrace. Phil loves her and that will never change. Kate wipes away the tears after he promises to send her daily pictures. One last hug and he is gone. Kate sadly watches after him, - Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Victor wants Chloe out. She bitterly states she does not even want to stay. He nastily suggests she go back to using her assets and quips they will be sure to forget her fast. Chloe walks out and reminds him that her son Parker will not forget her. Victor calls her an unstable nympho and advises her to go self-destruct on her own time. He slams the door. Chloe stare numbly ... - Back at the apartment, the cops are on their way. Mel freezes as she realizes that Troy could have killed her. She puts her head on Dario's shoulder. He murmurs to her in Spanish and reassures her he is there for her. - Meanwhile, in the crashed car, Taylor and EJ continue kissing, unaware that Nicole is approaching, seconds from peering through the window ...! |
