He then slips back into the coma, much to her dismay. She begs him to come back to her. "Just open your eyes!" She now yells for Daniel, taking him back to the room. Dr. Dan the medicine man does not find any significant change but Hope argues the Salem patient heard her and responded. She insists he let Bo out of the coma. She and she alone knows he is ready right now! - John the spy meets Marlena outside the pub. The blonde is surprised to see him. He insists they must talk but all she can say is she does not approve of his ISA involvement! They sit in the pub and he wants to discuss. She quips he already knew how she would feel about it. He drawls he does not like keeping things from her and tells her he loves her. She admits she is mad at him. She does not wish to be a spy’s wife. He swears he will not be in any danger, though she doubts there are any guarantees. She understands the ISA is a part of who he is. However, she had assumed other things had taken its place. John assures her he will take care of her. She reminds him she wants to be an equal. He had led her to believe he was done with the danger. John denies it is about the thrill. He simply must finish what he started. She repeats he had promised her he was done with the spy business. John now decides to tell her what has changed ... - At the Carver residence, EJ has just been told of Lexie's brain tumor. He thinks she looks wonderful, assuming the tumor was caught in time. But it is not so simple. It cannot be operated on. EJ stands up and angrily blames Abe. How could he let this happen! Abe retorts he was in prison. Lexie snaps at her brother not to blame him. EJ hastily whips out his phone, desperate to call some doctors. He knows people ... Lexie stops him for she knows medicine better. EJ argues he is a powerful man. Lexie woefully shakes her head. Abe shuts his eyes. EJ stares like a lost child. "I'm so sorry," he whispers. Lexie does not want him to worry. They are not giving up. EJ admits he cannot think of two people better equipped to handle such a situation. Lexie hopes she can count on him. Of course. That means a great deal to her. EJ regrets putting pressure on her by ripping he husband to shreds in the campaign. Lexie tries to make her baby brother feel better, then cries out in pain when she gets another sudden headache. It passes and she just wants to be alone. She will be back soon. EJ and Abe look at each other, not sure what to do next. - Kate bangs on Sami's door until she opens it and rages she wants to tear the little bitch's head off! She attacks her but Lucas pulls her off. Sami is smug that Kate is so upset. Lucas wants to know why. Because she has lost control of Countess W, which is now hers. As per her first decision as CEO, she has something to say to Kate. "You're fired!" Kate hisses she is certainly no Donald Trump. She vows she will never let her run her company. Sami muses it is not even hers anymore. Lucas is baffled. Who bought the company? Sami explains the new owner is Stefano, who invited her to run it. Lucas is stunned and asks Kate what happened. He now gets mad at Sami for even trusting Stefano. She thinks she can handle him as he made her the new regime. Kate hisses she will only run it into the gutter, like everything else she touches. Sami continues to gloat. Lucas sighs. There must be a loophole somewhere. Sami smiles there is not. Kate warns her that she will get a lawyer to get her company back and will then bury her. Sami points out Stefano's contracts are iron clad. He did own a large portion of the company, after all. Lucas is very surprised to hear it. Sami taunts Kate about what she must have done to make her dangerous husband so angry. Kate pauses. Sami goes on with her gloating. Lucas wants her to lay off. Sami wants to know what really happened between Kate and Stefano. Kate will not say. She leers this is far from over and when the tables are turned, she will be sorry. Kate sweeps out. Lucas now turns to Sami and demands to know what is going on. What on earth made her accept Stefano's dumb deal ...?! Read Part 2 - click here! |
