Episode 12,065 - At DiMera mansion, Stefano the Godfather cuts a powerful image in his red shirt, red tie, and black suit. Kristen pretties herself in the mirror. He makes a concerned comment about her missing brrrrrreakfast. She fixes her face in the mirror and babbles about having a danger to eliminate. She updates the phoenix on her pesky Sy problem and boasts she has handled it when he offers to take care of the mugger for hire who crossed the line. Meanwhile, seedy Sy has gone underground. He gives a messenger the envelope to deliver to Victor Kiriakis, with orders to let him know as soon as the Greek has it. He is gonna just love what is inside! - At the house of Kiriakis, Brady informs Victor he wants someone to join them for this meeting of the corporate art collection. Vic gets sarcastic when he hears it is Kristen. Brady persists. The woman he intends to marry knows art and even got him a collectible he wanted. The Greek tycoon quips she merely knows how to pander to his tastes He can barely conceal his disgust when Brady insists he must get to know his fiancée, who has no agenda! Victor continues to exude sarcasm but suggests Brady go ahead and call her. He does and she is delighted to be invited over. Back at DiMera mansion, Stefano muses her lover boy is dumb. Kristen exclaims he is trusting, which means her production for the destruction of John Black is deliciously imminent. He shakes his head as she bids him ciao. She now heads to the Kiriakis mansion and unwittingly runs into the messenger who has arrived outside to deliver an envelope to the master of the house. Kristen convinces the messenger to hand it to her, though she is oblivious to its contents, as she does not recognize Sy’s handwriting. The messenger takes off without getting a signature. Butler Henderson lets her in and she glances down at the envelope she now holds in her hand. She seems ready to open it ... - Glamorous colorful corporate Kate is at her desk but alas cannot focus. She sighs. Rafe calls and drawls they must talk. She will be at the square shortly. Rafe ends the call and Sami approaches him outside with a plea. He simply must get his head straight about Kate! Rafe purses his lips and acts innocent. Sami claims she knows cos Will and Sonny told her! Rafe flashes back to Kate confirming to Will and Sonny that they were an item, He thinks this is not Sami’s concern but she claims it is. She wants him to see who Kate really is and what she is doing! Rafe quietly explains now is not the time or the place. Sami insists Kate is causing trouble, trying to get Gabi to sign those papers. Rafe realizes she does not know about his affair with Kate and notes they are on the same side. Sami is now surprised to see Kate and looks from Kate to Rafe to Kate. "What is going on here!" Rafe pretends he only summoned Kate here to face the music. Sami snaps at Kate to tell him she had nothing to do with her pushing to get Gabi to sign that document. Kate agrees. Sami nervously states Kate come up with it on her own. Kate confirms it and muses she did not deal with Sami cos she was actually trying to help Will. Sami notes Kate still owes Rafe an apology, suggests she make it stick, and stomps off in her high heels. Kate now assures Rafe she is sorry. He nods, though he clearly has something on his mind. - At the rectory, prim and proper parish secretary Nicole is surprised to find Chloe at her desk, lamenting about what she told Daniel! Nicole wonders what he said. Chloe points out he did not actually say she had spoken with him but she knew he figured it all out after being tipped off. Nicole would rather not know more. Chloe raises her unhappy painted eyes and complains she chose Jen over her as a friend. Nicole replies Dan was the one who did the choosing. Chloe laments she had believed she was so close. She accuses Nicole of not being a true friend. Nicole emotionally insists they are still like best friends despite what happened. Chloe cries on her shoulder and hopes they will be bffs again. They agree they would both like that. Nicole asks what happened. Chloe would rather not elaborate and sniffles she will find out soon enough from certain people. She will now do what she feels she has to do and walks out after softly saying goodbye. Nicole’s eyes fill with tears as she grieves for her lost friend. Vargas arrives and notes she is preoccupied. She confides she just had an unexpected visit from a friend and thanks him for noticing. Now it is back to work. Nicole is seated at her computer trying to help people with their taxes, to save more money. Vargas the clever con artist leans over and talks taxes. She marvels he is like a pro. He drawls he read tax accounting for dummies. She flirts to pull up a chair and so he does. - Jen rushes into Horton house, having been summoned home by Abigail. Jen is beside herself with worry about an emergency but Abigail assures her all is well. Jen now stares at Dan and Parker, who are also waiting at the house, smiling! She gasps this cannot be. Dan is sure she should stay, as is Abigail. The fair widow uncertainly joins them. Abigail takes Parker off to play. Jen shakes her head as violins play in the background. This is a mistake! Dan suddenly declares he knows everything and gets closer to the woman he loves, repeating he knows everything! He tells the tale of finding Nancy’s passport and then it dawned on him that Chloe forced her to break up with him. That was why Nancy was in Brazil with Parker - to prove that Chloe would keep her son away from his father unless Jen ended their relationship. Jen agrees that is true and adds they cannot be together or he will lose is son! The passionate medicine man insists he will not lose anything, not her nor Parker! Jen expresses her fear that Chloe will follow through on her threat but Dan assures her that Chloe is done. The fight has gone out of her. He places his hand on her heart and urges her to trust this. All of a sudden, they spy Chloe, who has just arrived at the house. She pouts and asks after Parker. Dan sighs they were in the middle of something. Chloe notes Jen is back. Dan tries to stop her.
