She gingerly has a look, then gasps. She hugs him, her eyes filled with tears. She gets further choked up when she takes out a photo of Tom and Alice. Bo explains they gathered some items to remind people of who they were. After all, they are responsible for the new town square. They sit and he wants to show it to her before they share the mini-exhibit with the public. Bo admits it makes him remember who he was back then. Hope kisses him and thanks him. She now takes out Tom's medical bag, which Nathan has let them use. She recalls how her grandfather was always there for the important things. Like when she had skating practice. And Gran certainly knew the importance of hot chocolate. Bo grins they were a great team. Hope smiles that one must admire a woman who could make donuts as well as do the most amazing Groucho. A flashback is shown of Alice performing a Grouch Marx skit in full costume. Hope laughs. Bo recalls how Tom was once a secret poet, too. Hope adds he read a poem about Alice at one of the readings, when she happened to be in the audience. Bo produces the poetry book and hands it to her. They recall how Mr. and Mrs. H. always supported each other. Hope emotionally states they had true love, just like how she loves him. They kiss and embrace. They proceed to admire some of the ribbons Alice won for her donuts. Bo chuckles about her busting Roman out of jail by poisoning him slightly and having him transferred to the hospital. A flashback is shown of Alice showing up to rescue Bo when he was being held somewhere sinister as a young man. He marvels she was fearless. Hope misses her. Bo does too. He teases Hope inherited her fearlessness, which is why she could take on a tough guy like him. Hope laughs he was putty in her hands. She remembers climbing on the back of his motorbike. She never regretted it. Never looked back. Bo grins she was so sweet and pretty and always up for an adventure. He flashes back to kissing her after rescuing her from almost marrying the evil Larry Welch, then speeding away on his motorbike with her sitting behind him in her puffy wedding dress, the police in hot pursuit. They kiss. Hope calls their present life boring in comparison. Bo agrees and lists some of their adventures. They were exciting but even better is a night at home alone with her and Ciara. She thinks that is true. Bo, however, has a feeling that the adventures are not over, they are just beginning! - EJ returns to the mansion from a jog, sweating and complaining. He wishes he could pay someone to do it for him. Stefano, seated at his chess set, thinks it is good to rrrun, as makes him appear a rrrrrrrregular guy! EJ is dismayed about the cheery good mornings. The phoenix muses he must make sacrifices to change his image. EJ is also annoyed about the Bo and Hope party to celebrate the new town square. It is utterly nauseating! Stefano, however, finds it is deliciously ironic that he will make his big announceent there. Salem will never be the same! Stefano now claims he is busy rethinking the Sicilian wing gambit. EJ is doubtful and sits opposite him. Papa phoenix confesses he is actually thinking more of EJ's plans for the future. It is very Sicilian and the timing is surprising. EJ assures him his focus is single minded. Stefano hopes he will not be sidetracked by the next skinny little Nicole that comes along. EJ reminds him he taught him to show people respect. Stefano adds he also taught him to earn respect. He will and he will be sure to stay ahead of his opponents. Stefano warns he will have many. He will alienate many people that he cares for with this plan. Is he really up for it? - Jack pays the bellhop, who wonders how long he is staying in Salem. For good this time! Jack's face is still not shown. He later picks up a newspaper announcing the unveiling of the Horton Town Square and is intrigued. - Jen and Maggie have finished their happy walk and sit in front of the pub. Maggie is curious about the food and music at the mysterious party. Jen claims to know nothing and she and Maggie giggle. Turns out Hope is keeping this all very hush hush! Maggie wants to go to Jen’s place for tea. But Jen explains she and Bo arranged a surprise for Hope, which is probably happening at the house this very moment. - Back at the house, Hope wonders when she and Bo can start telling Ciara these wonderful stories. She pulls out their wedding picture and remembers their wonderful wedding in England. Gran gave her a pair of her mother's diamond earrings, which made her feel her presence. Bo notes Mrs. H. was there for them always and got him through it when he thought Hope was dead. Hope explains Mrs. H. loved him and saw him as a kindred spirit. Bo considers. Alice was a rebel through and through! But she always believed in true love. Flashback of a beardless Bo telling an excited Alice about his promise to keep Hope happy, just after they just got engaged. Bo announces he will keep that promise and kisses Hope on his lap. Enter Jen and Maggie. Hope jumps up and happily tells them of this planned display for Alice and Tom. Maggie gasps she cannot wait for the party. And to think Tom and Alice are bringing back to life a town square that was the heart of Salem in the old days. Now it will be again! It was and once more will be the place where all Salemites come together. Jen calls it a rebirth. She is desperate to know at least one of the secrets. They tease she can make donuts and Ciara can help her. - Back at DiMera mansion, EJ understands the obstacles he faces, but the risks are worth it. For the sake of his children, who deserve a name they can be proud of. Stefano solemnly states he is already proud of the DiMera name. EJ explains how Johnny has said the kids at school are afraid of vampires and DiMeras. Stefano wonders what he will do if things do not turn out. EJ asks him to trust him. Stefano chuckles. He wants much from him, after all he has said and done! EJ says the same of him! He suddenly warns him not to stand in his way, for the sake of the family.
