PART 1

- At the loft, Sami hands rushed Rafe his coffee. She is at her computer, claiming to be checking her email. He is in a hurry to get to the station
and drawls they have enough to put Quinn away for life! He asks what she has planned for today. Her job hunt. Rafe is sorry he forgot to look into that job ad and promises as soon as he gets this case sent over to the D.A., he will investigate. It was only a scam. Of that he is certain. Rafe starts to walk out. On the way, he runs into Jen. Sami ushers him out
and thanks Jen for coming. "I need your help!" She fills her in on the job ad. She has an interview today! Jen is happy for her. Sami, however,
feels unprepared and was hoping Jen could help. Jen points out she is
now unemployed. Sami quips she is a pro. She used to watch her show with Austin. They get to work. Jen does practice interview questions
with her. She now wants to know what she will wear. Nervous Sami is not sure.
- Bo and Hope have been interrogating Quinn at the station for 17 hours. He vows he is not guilty and will not confess. Bo angrily reminds him of the evidence. And if the latest victim does not make it, he will be facing murder charges! Quinn exclaims the DNA is circumstantial. In addition, the weapon was planted. It might not even be the one that was used! Hope warns him it is being tested as they speak. Bo sternly states his
past, not to mention the evidence would suffice for a conviction. Bo now gets a call from forensics. Chloe's blood is on the nightstick. Quinn insists he never attacked anyone. Hope calls him a predator. He wants a lawyer. Hope joins Bo and quietly asks what next. Bo points out he consented to talk to them without an attorney. As per the surveillance tapes, he was earnest even with his mother. Hope realizes he thinks they are missing something. Bo admits they have more work to do.
- Nervous Viv finds Gus outside the pub. He happily offers her a coffee but she is upset about Quinn. None of the lawyers he left messages for have called back. She orders her seemingly flaky flunky to shut up and come with her.
- At the pub, Nicole joins EJ at his table. He is pleasantly surprised but she is worried. Taylor is in trouble, says she .
- At the station, Abe assures Tay that everything will be okay provided she tells them everything. She insists Quinn is innocent. Commissioner Roman saunters up and warns she could be in trouble too. They have evidence against prime suspect Quinn and have established she has a history with him. Abe assures her the human rights arrest is nothing to
be ashamed of. Roman questions whether she thinks Quinn used her to get information on the attacker investigation. Did she in any way impede the departmental investigation? Tay starts to say she had certain access.
All of a sudden, lawyer EJ enters with Nicole and stops the interrogation of his new client. He demands a chance to speak with her. EJ, Nicole,
and Taylor are soon in a room together. Nicole promises her they want
to help. EJ is in fine legal form. He needs answers, if he is to represent her. The whole truth and nothing but. Tay confesses she did keep tabs
on the investigation but Quinn is not the guy. EJ points out the police would not have arrested him without evidence. Tay emotionally declares she knows him and there is no way it is him!
- As the aria ends, Parker's picture beside Chloe's bed, Brady tells her they all need her, as does her son. She whispers Brady's name and her pretty blue eyes flutter open. Brady rejoices. She is really back! Dr.
Lexie checks her out and she is totally lucid. Lexie smiles the patient is
on the road to recovery. Brady now asks what she remembers about the attack. Lexie informs her the attacker has been arrested. Chloe assumes they have caught Gus. No, Quinn. Chloe explains she recalls it all and it was Vivian's servant Gus who attacked her. She insists she is right. Lexie steps out to call the police but is called away to a code blue and the call is not made! Back in Chloe's room, Brady caresses her face and she tells him she heard his words, the music. She thanks him. Brady explains he knows what she went through. Why did she not come to him for help? Chloe sadly realizes he knows. As does Nicole. Brady points out they
did not reveal her secret to the police. He will prevent anyone else from learning the truth. Chloe cries she is ashamed and wonders what he thinks of her. He does not judge her, for she is a compassionate mother who would have done anything to get her child back. How could anyone judge her! Chloe fears Quinn will say something, but Brady urges her to remain positive. Lexie returns. Chloe will need more tests, but she is lucky indeed.
- Viv sweeps into the station with Gus and hurls accusations at Roman and Abe. She thinks this will add to the issues which will oust Abe as mayor. She also threatens to bankrupt the police department. They are persecuting an innocent man. Meanwhile, the attacker is still out there!
- Bo and Hope decide to go over what they have on past pier crimes. Hope's eyes widen as she stares at her monitor. Years ago, a young boy was abandoned on the pier. Twenty years ago to be exact. They realize who he is and take it to Roman. They say Gus' full name. Roman wants to see the composite sketch. Viv now walks into the room, arguing with Gus. Roman stares. The face is a match! Rafe, Bo, Hope, and Roman
are now facing the real attacker. But he is unaware they know yet. The chaos cometh ...!
