OBSESSION!

PART 1

- At the pub, Rafe kisses Sami and seductively growls what is for
dessert! She thinks he must be tired of having to go to all those doctor's appointments with her. She wants to get a job and then go to work. It
will be good for their relationship. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Rafe declares his heart could not be fonder and they start to kiss. Sami later searches job ads and gets frustrated. She does not have college or major job experience, as often required. Rafe assures her the situation is not hopeless. She now reads one ad requiring a self-starter with energy. Fortunately, there is nothing about experience or a degree. There is travel and rapid advancement for the right candidate. She exclaims she is the right candidate! He points out there is no name, number, or actual job description.  It sound sketchy. She calls him Agent negative. He laughs they might want money up front. Sami insists it is not a scam. He just asks her not to do anything until he has checked it out. Rafe is now
paged by the station, promises they will discuss this later, kisses her, and departs. Sami sighs, having already made up her mind ...
- At the Kiriakis mansion, Maggie informs Victor she will take some of
her get well flowers to the ICU. He is curious, now that she is decorating, about what her answer finally is to his question concerning their living arrangement. She loses her balance and he steadies her. The redhead insists she is better every day. He drawls he missed her at breakfast. She becomes curt. He was worried she was avoiding him and snaps at her to stop fussing with the flowers already. Is she trying to avoid him? No.
He would like to know what she thinks of his idea to make their living arrangement permanent. She has given it consideration and does love
him. They make a good pair, too. He wonders if that is a yes. Maggie becomes flustered.  He admits waking up next to her every morning would make him happy. Her too. But she is still a tad old fashioned.
"A real commitment, Victor, means marriage!" says she. The Greek tycoon stammers. Does she mean she wants to ... She finishes for him. Get married? No, she is not ready for that, nor is she comfortable living with him. She is sorry. She must say no.
- At the police station, Bo is on the phone, blasting the backed up lab for taking so long. They need to grab this monster. Hope readily agrees. She later enters with sample dishes from the caterer that was recommended
by Maggie. Bo is full but Hope needs his help. It is also a way to kill time while awaiting the lab results. She shoves some pate in his mouth and he spits it out. Next she feeds him squash blossom medley and he likes it.
His idea of a gourmet menu used to be beer and something in his other hand he could eat while standing. Hope teases he then got married. He playfully pulls her on his lap. He grins about the big surprise they have in store for everyone at the party.  After they have finished the food tasting, Hope teases his top choice must have been the pizzas. He teases her top choice must have been those little things with the meat and rice. They are both right! Bo chuckles they cannot hide anything from each other. She asks what she is thinking now, in that case. He grins he loves her too and they kiss. Their attention returns to the DNA evidence they are waiting for. The odds might be slim they will find their guy with it, but there is always hope.
- As Quinn enters Chez Rouge with Tay, he warns her that his mom speaks her own mind but has thus far been good to him. Viv arrives and gushes she got them the best table. Quinn mentions Gus. Viv admits he is in a snit and airily laughs he is so moody. They all sit and talk. Mama Viv is elated to discover her son is dating an MBA. She herself is a people person, though there are a few who might disagree in Salem. Tay thinks Viv is fun and Quinn inherited her charm. Viv decides to be candid. She loves that Tay is making an effort with her and coos not to stop! She
talks shopping. Tay invites her to go to the Salem Museum with her to
see the fashion exhibit of Alexander McQueen. Turns out he is Vivian's dearly departed friend. However, she thinks she should spend some time with Gus, maybe take him to the pet store to cheer him up. He so likes
to watch the fishes swimming round and round. How about Quinn? He cannot go either, as he misplaced his card and needs to speak with the front desk about getting a new one.
- Meanwhile, Gus gains access to Quinn’s room with the stolen card. Once inside, he angrily looks at a photo of his beloved Viv and her son. He rips Madame's image away and informs her that one day she will understand, he did this all for her ...
- At the station, Bo and Hope discuss the attacker. His rage seems to be escalating and he will probably strike again. What might trigger such rage? Bo wonders if it is a woman in his life. Lover, ex-girlfriend, mother. He has an idea. Hope laments the very thought that the psycho is still out there is killing her! Rafe soon arrives and joins Bo and Hope, who are researching to see if they can find info on anything else that happened down at the pier involving a woman in the past 20 or 25 years. One
never knows. The attacker might have experienced a loss or trauma involving a woman who was important to him. Rafe now tells the pair Sami is all fired up about the shindig and is desperate to learn who the surprise guests will be. Bo and Hope will not say. Rafe calls  Hope an ice princess. Hope agrees to tell him one thing. Maggie has recommended an amazing caterer! Ring ring! Bo gets the call and then announces the DNA results are being faxed over. The gang wait with bated breath ...
