| Wednesday, May 4, 2011 up by 5:13 pm est May 3 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Cads, Cards, and Crosses! - At the pub, Caroline brings sad Sami tea and cookies. She hates seeing her so unhappy. Sami is at a loss. Everything is messed up between her and Rafe. Caroline points out the accident made him different. Sami laments it was her fault and now she is the one walking away. She cries she was unable to make him the man he once was. Caroline assures her she gave him many chances. Sami now admits he slept with another woman in their bed. "My Rafe would never have cheated on me." She now knows the man she married is gone for good. Caroline takes it all in. She is sorry. Sami states she put up with his stupid jokes and beer drinking ways, but to find out that he cheated? That was it! Caroline calls him a bastard! Sami was hopeful after she heard he rescued Ciara and Theo, but then she found out he cheated. She cannot stay with him. Only problem is, she is not sure she wants to go on without him. He will be gone by the time she has returned home regardless. Caroline suddenly states if she had a butcher knife, she would ....! "Grandma!" interrupts a shocked Sami. Caroline encourages her to move on. Sami does not think she will ever love again. Caroline encourages her. Sami laments she will always know Rafe is out there somewhere and no longer loves her. It would have been easier if he had perished in the accident, for then she would have healed. Caroline suggests she get along without a man for a change. Time to live up to her potential. She needs to find out who the real Sami Brady is. Perhaps she has a broken heart but it will mend. - Meanwhile, Rafe wakes up to Sister Rose dabbing his forehead. His fever has finally broken. He tries to sit up in bed without success, so she suggests he stay put for a while. She now lets him know that he called out someone's name in his sleep.Ted. Rafe flashes back to hearing Stefano praise Ted on the phone for his excellent work. He sighs that is one of the men who kept him prisoner. Everything before that time is blank, though there is something familiar about the convent. The sister is sympathetic. She disagrees when he laments that he must have done something bad to have been locked up. She feels he is a good man whom God gave sanctuary there. And she intends to help him! What does he remember about Ted? He remembers him and his boss, the one with the accent. The nun thinks that is a good sign. Rafe is not sure the clues will help. She announces that is why they pray and starts to say hail Mary. Things will come back to him. - At the loft, Rafe 2 checks his luggage. He has all of his stuff and Fay's necklace. He tosses his wedding ring onto the kitchen counter, then looks for his important bank card from Stefano. It is missing. "No no no no no!" He trashes the place searching, but it is nowhere to be found. - At DiMera mansion, Taylor waits alone, and asks God to let Nicole know this is best for all of them ... Downstairs in the living room, Nicole snaps at EJ she does not want a divorce. Sure they have problems, though she does not intend to give up! EJ reasons it was only a business arrangement and therefore a mistake. They are not happy and a loveless marriage sets a bad example to the children. He reminds her she wants to be with Brady anyway. It was not fair of him to make her choose between the man she loves and Sydney. He is setting her free! Nicole makes a comment about his timing. She did indeed wish to be free, but not now. "I like things just the way they are!" He stares in disbelief. But she loves Brady! She explains things change. She already told him she loves him! He doubts it is true. If it were, why would she tell people that they are not working? She yells she was only venting. EJ repeats he should not have held her hostage to her love for Sydney. He now wishes to give her her freedom, and promises her full visitation to Syd. Nicole asks about Johnny. She can spend time with him too. She gets tears in her eyes. "And you? You haven't grown the least bit attached to me?" She sighs the last time they made love, he was passionate and tender and made her feel special. It was all a performance. "You're disgusting!" He only cares about himself. She ends her attack with a slap. "You are a son of a son of a bitch!" Tay sneaks down the stairs as EJ sarcastically suggests she hit him again, after which Nicole states she could tell the police he is a sadistic abuser. Exit Tay. Nicole gets upset he would ask for a divorce just after her mother died. He and the children are her family now! She cries she cannot lose them. Why does he want things to end between them! He could not possibly be cheating, could he? He casually wonders why she would say that. She flashes back to seeing him kiss Taylor, then tells him she knows who it is. "Sami." EJ starts to laugh, then yells "Come on!" She demands to know who, then, as he told her he had given up on love. Plus, he is always at home. It must be someone he already knows. She angrily tells him it is not likely Brady would ever take her back with open arms anyway. He probably does not even love her anymore. EJ argues that she deserves someone who loves her completely, wherever she may find it. Nicole sarcastically retorts that is sweet of him to say. Then again, he might really just be afraid she will open her mouth and not be the perfect mafia wife. She could find out something she is not supposed to know. She now holds up the envelope and hands it to him, her eyes glaring at him like a cat in the night. "I already know." He opens the envelope and she smugly informs him those are DNA results. She also remembers all the mysterious noises from the basement and now has proof that the poor sap they were holding down there was Rafe Hernandez! He accuses her of sneaking around and calls her a little bloody spy. Nicole triumphantly states she knows what her mother wanted to tell her. He gives her back the envelope and drawls it proves nothing. Nicole insists he turned Rafe into another person - an awful one. She takes out her phone and smugly wonders how Sami would react to the news, as she dials ... - At the pub, Sami is crying to Caroline that she wants the old Rafe back. Where did her true love go? Ring ring! Missed call. She takes out her phone and along with it Rafe 2' s bank card, then absentmindedly shoves everything back in her bag. - At the hospital, Stefano is elated to meet with Theo, as Lexie and Abe watch and smile. The phoenix assures the boy he loves him. He is glad he is safe. "You always have my heart." He kisses his head and dramatically declares that family is the only thing. Later, Lexie is waiting with Theo for his speech session when Taylor arrives. Theo is thrilled to see her and they hug. Once Theo has gone to his session, Tay admits to Lexie she wanted to get out of the house. EJ is asking Nicole for a divorce. Lexie thinks EJ and Nicole have always been toxic for each other. Tay muses she should move on. Lexie would love to have Tay in her brother's life but wants to make sure she realizes what she would be signing up for. Tay explains she knows what the DiMeras are about, though Lexie is practically perfect. She has success, integrity, and sanity. Lexie states she loves her father and brother in spite of their faults and she thinks Taylor would be best for EJ. Therefore, she should not fight it anymore. Tay smiles she cannot. And she feels Nicole might even be happy for her. Lexie looks doubtful. - Rafe 2 meets boss Stefano at the pier. "You blithering idiot!" Rafe 2 assures him it will turn up, but he needs money. The phoenix will cancel the old bank card and have a new one issued. His new name on it will again be Javier Morales. Someone better not find the old one! He must make sure it is not at the loft. The phoenix grudgingly hands him a cash advance. The imposter promises to find it. But if anyone else finds it, they will not be able to connect it to him anyway. Stefano looks doubtful. Rafe 2 is later back at the loft, and concludes the card is nowhere. He is home free! He now spies his sunglasses on the floor and flashes back to Sami stuffing things in her bag. She must have the card and he cannot let that happen! He picks up his bag and takes off, determined to track her down. - Back at the pub, Caroline suggests Sami take her time to get some perspective and closure. She hugs her and assures her she will survive this, just like everything. "You’re one tough cookie!" She simply must have faith in herself. Sami cries and hugs her tight. She will try. - At the mansion EJ takes away Nicole's phone. She leers killing her would be a bad idea. Surely he realizes she had copies made of the report which she left with her lawyer, in case anything happens. She is the only person besides him and Stefano who knows. He walks closer and she warns she could tell the children what he did to Rafe, how he scrambled his brain. He would go to jail and then she and Sami would share custody of the kids. What a hoot that would be! He calls her a sick and vindictive little bitch, then thunders she should just tell him WOT she wants! - Sitting alone at the pier, Sami toys with her key, sighing about closure. She knows what she has to do ... - At the convent, the nun hands Rafe a rosary in case he wishes to pray. It has a medal attached. He turns it over and reads. Convent of the Holy Cross. ""I know that place!" he whispers. - Back at the mansion, Nicole muses over what she might want. EJ leers she will not succeed with her blackmail, so it matters not what she wants. Taylor enters and Nicole enthusiastically greets her with a smile. "EJ and I have an announcement to make." EJ suddenly cringes ... Next on Days of Our Lives Thursday Preview 1: "I can’t stand by and watch Chloe be destroyed!" Maggie woefully tells Victor. Thursday Preview 2: Chloe comes upon Jen and Abby on a bench. "You're going on a date with Daniel?!" Thursday Preview 3: When Rafe 2 shows up at the pub, Caroline slaps him across the face. |
